10 people in line, 1 cashier.
    Xain C.

TLDR: *lines are comically long * the skeleton crew who are on staff are doing a solid job * it's dirty* Corporate should be tasked with slurping sludge from the drains in the meat department. Amid the perpetually sticky surfaces, the lines stretch comically long, and a skeleton crew valiantly strives to keep things running. Corporate or whoever doesn't hire more workers at livable wage should be forced to confront their failures by tonguing the gum from the busted shopping carts. The rise of self-checkout machines promised ease but delivered a cruel twist. These mechanical beasts lure with the allure of efficiency, yet in reality, they transform a lone worker into a desperate ringmaster, juggling registers in a relentless circus of chaos. The self-checkout myth is painfully revealed as a burden on the few who bear the load, a grim commentary on the pitfalls of technological progress. In the shadowy world of corporate neglect, where a livable wage remains a mirage, This Smith's is a haunting stop on the highway of modern existence. The produce maintains a glimmer of freshness, but it's the unsung heroes of the crew who struggle to keep the show running that are the only saving grace. The fact that I occasionally stop in is only due to its unfortunate placement on my commute to work, adding an eerie yet oddly captivating element to the narrative.

    Delicious Fried Chicken!

Delicious Fried Chicken! I love fried chix. I do have a few favorites, but I was looking to bring cold fried chicken for my office lunch. $1.79 each for thigh. I don't know how much the drumsticks were. 6 pcs came to $8.99. I'm not big on breast pcs. For the price, it is pretty darn good. I still have my other favorites, yet shopping at Smith's is always convenient.

A horrible effort of writing on a cake

Get people that actually want to work. I literally just left there trying to get a coworker a cake before I started my shift today. I walk in to ask someone if they can write happy birthday on the cake automatically a lady tells me no. And then proceeds to yell over at another lady, who also says no, and they go back-and-forth arguing about who is going to write on the cake And finally the first lady takes the cake and hand me this horrible mess. I left it.

That's the BIG K and can you read the FINE PRINT??

Terrible customer service. I went to purchase seltzer water on sale, the sign said three for $8. When I checked out the seltzer did not ring up the sale so I asked the manager, he sent an associate to check the price, she never came back. I offered to walk him to the pile of seltzer water, found the associate just hanging out there chatting with another person. The manager asked her what happened, she lift up the sale sign and showed 4 boxes of BIG K drinks that was covered by the sign ( seen in photo). it turned out the one on sale out of all the seltzer, was covered by the sign. I said " OMG, it is completely covered by the sign." The associate said (in a very loud voice ) "read the sign" and walked away. The manager next to her laughed at me, as if I can't read. This store needs better training to the public and not insult their customers.

I can't with the streets being janky and the insane amount of traffic on Spring Mountain. But I do on occasion battle the crazy to take care of business. Before H Mart opened I would go to the Asian Market at Spring Mountain and hate life. IYKYK, right? Spacious yes, but be ready to wait an eternity to check out. After the H Marts grand opening I took a walk on the wild side and entered with my own personal shopping cart. Simply put my review is this: it's way too small for everything they sell. Crowded aisles. Stock on the floor. Serious fire hazard. They need to address this safety hazard and act accordingly with their wares. While almost everything is korean they do carry items from other asian countries. The problem is if you don't have a translation app or read characters you have no idea what anything is. I had a hell of a time finding dark and light soy sauce, sesame oil, oyster & fish sauce. I finally found my 3 Crabs oyster sauce but the soy sauce...I gave up. Going back with pictures next time... Employees on the floor were not willing or able to help find items or answer questions. They DO have an amazing selection of ramyun & ramen. Their housewares are solid & inexpensive. I highly recommend the pink kitchen gloves and disposable korean washcloths!!! They have limited k-beauty items but an insane amount of ginseng products. The parking lot is a madhouse. If you have your own personal shopping cart like I do...use it! It's a shame their app doesn't allow for ordering with store pickup.

It looks like they haven't... they are just quietly existing. This morning I woke up to our two meows both standing by their bowls. I searched for the earliest opening grocery store and found that Winco is 24 hours. The selection of cat food isn't luxurious but we found something both meows like and the price was identical to Walmart. If you've had ethical issues regarding Walmart, Winco states proudly that they are employee owned. Well that's how I feel about Winco... it's a no frills kind of market with generally decent stuff and I know where everything is and I know and the cashiers know me. Yeah, it's not like Sprouts or Whole Foods, not as many of the same type of an item as Smiths or Albertsons , not nearly as bare bones as Aldi's.... But you know what? It is generally fine for what I need , especially on a quick trip. Yeah, I'm not getting Boarshead deli meat or Sprouts in store sushi... but if I need "routine" groceries like eggs, breads, canned goods and produce, I'm going to go Winco and save a bit. I mean, yeah I have to bag my stuff, dodge the various folks in the parking lot who may be trying to solicit something , there's always ample parking and the hours are great. Just saying, so many people dis Winco just because they can't choose from 18 kinds of olive oil or there are no lobsters swimming in the seafood section and of course, you have to use cash or debit... do people still shop with cash? More do every day after all the rip offs of credit cards
