Our call was returned immediately and Paul Craig, owner of the company, provided exceptional detail about the various products and their benefits / drawbacks. We scheduled a site visit; Paul showed up right on time with samples and guided us through the various applications. We selected the VueSafe product. Paul indicated a 2-week lead time... but as Hurricane Sandy approached Paul contacted us on Saturday morning to let us know they had accelerated production and an installer would be on-site that day. The installer, Ed, was prompt, courteous and diligent throughout the installation process. We couldn't be happier. The product is up and already we feel more secure. We selected the electric controlled roll shutter product. From our initial contact with Steve through frequent contact with the project foreman and wonderful installers, the project couldn't have gone better. The local showroom displays all the products to view, and the custom installation looks great. The shutters also seem to be excellent quality. Before the order was sent to the factory, the installers came out to review it to make sure of any special challenges or material that would be required. After installation, which they worked around our schedules, they were careful to explain proper use and maintenance as well. It is obvious that this company takes great pride in their business, and realize that customer service and recommendations mean everything. We are very pleased, and look forward to the shutter protection during storm season.

The electric awning worked perfectly for us since then until just recently, when the extending and closing mechanism seemed to develop a mind of its own. I believe the true measure of a company's character is the after-sales response to a reported problem. Sandy was every bit as accommodating and attentive to my issue as if she was on the cusp of a major new sale. My calls were promptly and graciously returned, and as they did the trouble-shooting, I was kept informed of the status and next steps. An on-site service was required, and the team arrived as scheduled and could not have been more professional. The problem was resolved within 3 days of being reported to Ocean Tailors! Another part of the job was put off for two months while they ordered parts. On the day of install they canceled two minutes before the appointment. They use sub contractors who are not their employees and their work is shoddy at best. Please do not give this company your business.

Be very aware. Anderson come by here at our place in Halifax…read moreMA. The sales person came by did thier thing, my girlfriend ended up purchasing 28 windows for the house. This was done in December 2022, today is May 2023. The grid bars in the windows when you raise the windows, and the window crosses over the cross bar in the grid tge window hits and causes the bar move out of place and look crooked and you can see the outside of window face so it looks off and no lined up. Then recently when it started Getting warm we opened the bathroom window and the rubber seal fell out of the bottom of the window so the window does not have a complete seal. The slide window above the sink slid it open the other day and the clips from the grid bars came out and the grid is way off center and you cannot even open the window. So the grids are off on about half the windows and move off center when you open the window. When I called ti ask them about it they said the grid was not covered in the warranty. So Anderson renewal is sending someone by may 26th to take a look and tell us if they will fix the and if they are under warranty. I remind you it has only been 6 months since the installation. We would not use these guys ever again and we have 3 larger windows to do another time. Anderson Renewal will not be doing them. We do not recommend at all. They come in your home and spill out a awesome picture and when you decide and sign the papers they have you. $65,000's spent on the windows and will not fix the grid bars and rubber seal. That is just wrong. For the other 3 large windows we will look else where... we will check Pella windows. Good luck if you use Anderson Renewal, I would not use them ever again.
