The first crew, Joshua, Brandon, and Ben, were incredibly polite, deliberate, and careful with the move. They were incredibly flexible and made sure everything was completed quickly and safely. By the end of the two days, I felt as if I should invite them over for dinner, as they not only worked efficiently,but created an uneventful environment at a very stressful time. Everything went smoothly. The second crew, Ray and ?? (I'm sorry but I forget his name), were equally as pleasant. Everything was delivered as expected with no issues to my daughter's home. Nothing was damaged. None of the property was knicked, banged, scratched. I would highly recommend Colony Movers to any friend who needs moving assistance.

The driver was obnoxious, complaining and stomping around, snarling and glowering with teeth clenched, and I told him I didn't appreciate it. He took offense. By the time Colony got here, my husband and I, age 76, were exhausted, working on too little sleep for days. We didn't need complaints from a well-rested prima donna who'd just come back from FOUR DAYS off with pay (long Thanksgiving weekend). Colony couldn't find a substitute driver and crew. Thank goodness, we were able to find a local company that stepped in. Otherwise, we'd have been non-compliant with our closing agreement.

They shipped via FedEx because it was cheaper for them. When they attempted a recall they lost track of it "in the FedEx network". I would absolutely NOT recommend them for anything of value or importance. They are the textbook definition of a logistics disaster. In a country with at-will employment that rewards merit, how such incompetent people keep their job is a mystery. But worse yet, is the owner of this store that cared neither about his customer nor his employees. He let an employee that had failed in the first place continue to muddle along while not having the courtesy to contact the customer to fix things. Sadly, Yelp does not allow less than one star. In summary, there is nothing "Qwik" about them when it comes to "ship". UPS eventually delivered the package on June 16 after FedEx trucked it coast to coast 4 times since May 11. The long logistics nightmare is finally over for an item I purchased in April.
