It was a shortage on my storage bill, that I always pay on time & in full. So I was locked out of my unit & was charged late fees, on top of it! The rudeness of the mgr, who was the one I originally paid, was totally uncalled for. I wanted the cameras there to show that I paid in full, as usual, but was not getting anywhere w/that request. I refused to pay the exorbitant fees adding up & my things trapped w/another lock. I took it upon myself to track down the regional mgr, that was the total opposite of Barb in Hyannis. He listened, & cared. It took over a week, due to his being away, but he straightened it out, got the fees removed, & gave me a months rent for my stress & trouble. Yes, it took a lot of time & effort, but I know what I paid & was not getting ripped off by anyone! Always get a receipt & make sure you look at it, to be sure your payment is logged properly. 'B' was a bit nicer to me, after that, but I also made a real effort to be extra nice & as time went on, she lightened up. But overall, I heard from many, B was not well liked at all. By fellow workers, or ppl who had dealt w/her. A few of the others were very nice, esp an older gentleman, so I felt bad they all got the boot. Usually, if the mgr is good, the others below are happy & work better, together & w/customers. I was a mgr myself for yrs, so I know how important it is to have your crew get along & be happy at work. The new crew I encountered last mo, was very accommodating, upbeat, polite, respectful & friendly. So, a great start! It's why I just went up 2 stars. I'm a long time regular, so will see if the new crew holds to the already brighter standards. Fingers crossed! ;) On another note, it took a long time once last Fall hit, to get the outside flood lights on! I had to ask many times to please turn them on, b/c it was so dark & I had my car w/brights shining at the storage unit, so I could see, but it was blinding & cars had a difficult time getting around me b/c of the way I had to park. I'm hoping the lights are kept up w/the earlier nightfall this time. Big inconvenience to get to your unit & then have to go back to wait to ask them to put lights on. A couple times they didn't get on till I was almost finished! With the price raising multiple times a yr now, the company should really be on things better. I do not feel as safe now, either, w/the locking gates removed. Especially in the evenings. No, they didn't always work right, but they should have gotten a better system, instead of taking them down. I was told the cameras will catch anything amiss. Glad to know if I'm assaulted, it will be on film. SMH

He also made recommendations on the specific liquid cleansers we bought. Bob is the kind of guy you hope you find when you walk into an establishment and need to select a tool for the job. If Home Depot is handing out bonuses for customer satisfaction, we nominate Bob. Home Depot was our second stop that day - first stop was with a seemingly well-stocked tool rental establishment closer to us - but once we started asking questions the guys working there realized they didn't have the correct accessory hoses needed for stair cleaning - and their price was also considerably higher than Home Depot.

I have never heated a house with propane…read morebefore so I had a lot of questions and Eastern Propane was the most welcoming on the phone taking a lot of time to answer questions that they probably get all the time. They went above and beyond to deal with a situation at our house that required the tanks to be moved and the insufficient copper runs (installed by the house flippers) to get completely replaced. They handled dealing with the town inspector and even dropped off a temporary tank to make sure we had no disruption to hot water while everything got figured out. I was very happy with how thorough they were to make sure everything was up to code and handled as "pretty" as two large tanks can be :) When I was shopping around I found that the prices at Eastern Propane were considerably cheaper than the previous chosen company the previous owner (flipper) had chosen. Akin to highway robbery if you ask me. I've met the delivery driver a few times and he also is very pleasant and welcoming. I feel like I'm in good hands and happy to be a customer!

Our exterior vent is done well and needs no additional work. They showed up when they said they would, and finished on time. The area was spotless when they finished. The cherry on top was that they sent the paperwork for the refund along with the invoice. All pages were filled in, and they highlighted what info we needed to add. One bathroom was occupied and the other was locked, despite a sign saying the restrooms were unlocked. Several of us were simply waiting while someone went inside to ask for a key. An older man came out and immediately spoke to me in an angry, confrontational way. I walked away rather than engage. When I returned because it appeared someone was getting the key, he confronted me again, demanded to know what I wanted, and then told me he owned the bathroom and I could go somewhere else. A second man came out, asked what happened, and then repeatedly talked over me when I tried to explain. His only response was that the first man was 84 years old. Being elderly or hard of hearing may explain a misunderstanding. It doesn't excuse treating a paying customer with hostility, and it doesn't excuse another employee refusing to even listen to what happened. An incredibly uncomfortable experience over something as simple as trying to use a restroom. We won't be stopping here again.
