My 88-year-old mother went to Dr. Kelly to have a callous removed from her foot. Before removing it they gave her compression socks to put on as they said her balance was off. She stated she did not want these socks as this is not what she came in for. They insisted that she take the socks home and was charged for them. They also insisted that they x-rayed her ankles and again my mother said she did not want an x-ray but they insisted that she have one.She tried to return the socks and was told they could not except them back. The fee for her office visit was $700. A year later she received another bill for $700 even though she had not returned to Dr. Kelly's office. It seems Dr. Kelly takes great advantage of his patients. I do not recommend using him. read more

Hello Marie, Please take note my review was from 2014. I was a patient of Dr. Kelley's prior to then. It does not surprise me that there is no record of me in the system as at the time the staff could barely track my co-pays. Additionally, if you identified that I was a patient at any time you would be in breach of HIPAA. Again, wouldn't be surprised given the way the practice was 5+ years ago. I currently recommend Podiatry to my patients who are unable to cut their own nails or due to medical reasons should have a professional do it (DM, anticoags) and I have never seen a podiatrist go 4 months between appts. Dr. Kelley went that long at times to schedule appts with my grandparents. If called to check in on an appt- the staff would inform us about waiting for a filled list to justify home visit. Lastly- physical therapists do their job when we never see a patient again for the same problem- the goal is to treat and educate NOT to keep a patient coming back for more and especially not for necessary appts so we can bill insurance and charge another copay. Seems to me like it would benefit Dr. Kelley to charge someone for more appts than refer to PT to actually address the problem. Ultimately as a clinician I advocate for myself as well as my clients and based on my treatment alone I would not recommend anyone to this practice. I can only hope it's improved- for the conscience of the practice but truly to better serve those who don't have any other options. read more

I have seen Dr. Kelley for several issues over the past couple of years and always found him and his staff very friendly and knowledgeable. I had a few different issues with my feet and toes at different times and the issue was always resolved for me, I personally would recommend Norwood Podiatry to friends and family Dr. Kelley is a true professional. read more

I started going to Norwood Podiatry Associates last year, after I was recommended by my old Podiatry Dr. Curran in Hyde Park, Massachusetts, and it is a nice place, front desk receptionist are very nice, Dr. Kelley seems very nice, but since day 1 his assistant was very rude, don't know the reason, but I been going back and for and to make it short, on Sept. 4 2018 I had an ingrown nail, and Dr. Kelley did a small procedure, I went home with a bandage, but bleeding a lot, when I first become a patient I explained that I am diabetic and I assume that they have my records from the prior podiatrist , well in this case, I was sent home to take care of my own toe, and I could not do that, because I am a risk patient, I had to go twice to have wound care, I was told by the secretary, who was very polite to go back to the office and they will do this for me, I did that, and some how I called my insurance and request information on how I could get in home services for the wound care, I did this because Dr. Kelley office could not figured out how to request the services for me knowing that I am in risk of getting any infection, some how his secretary did few calls, and finally found a VNA agency for me to have them come to my home, this is paid by the insurance, well they set up follow ups appointments for me to see Dr. Kelley, and every time I was going there, his assistant "Linda" will called me in the office and the first thing she asked me was is the wound care nurse going to see you at home? when I responded yes, she will just put a long face, and started and told me well you are not here for that, because they are getting paid to take care of the wound and "he" meaning Dr. Kelley is not getting paid, so the first time this happen, when Dr. Kelley got in to the office , I apologize because I did not know that the insurance was not paying for my follow up, I been paying my co-payments all the time, $30.00 , so Dr. Kelley respond, who say so. don't worry I am getting paid, I accepted his response , now on my next appointment , "Linda" did the same thing, asked me the same question again, and got the same response from me, she went off telling me . the VNA is getting paid, we are not, she noticed I did not like her to discuss that with me, so she said, well I am in the medical fields, not on billing , she noticed I did not said one word, so she got the message. Last week I went to my next appoitment, and my husband came in with me, he stayed at the door, and she started with the same issue, so I respond to her, then I will discuss the matter with Dr. Kelley and the insurance, and she noticed I was about to walk out of the office, I don't need the agravation dealing with someone who does not have any professional ethic, I canceled today an appt. I have for tomorrow, and I change doctors today, I don't need to be in a place that I don't feel I am welcome, and is nothing to do with the front desk, these ladies are friendly, but Dr. Kelley's assistant does not have professional ethics. I respect everyone and expect the same thing from others, work for years with the public and I treat everyone with respect. read more

I went to podiatry associates because of a painful verruca wart on my foot. The doctor also pointed out several things wrong with my foot structure and did some X-rays. That part was fine. The nurse the next appointment spoke to me about getting orthotics and I was concerned about cost/ wanted further explanation. Mind you, in my world, I don't suffer from any foot pain/ my feet appear fine now. So, the doctor comes in, starts removing callus off of the wrong foot. So, I said does that help the callus if you remove it? He stumbled through his answer. (Truthful answer: No, it does not. I was working on the WRONG foot) So, he switches the foot, applies the medicine, and proceeds to leave. So, I say aren't you going to tell me about my X-rays? He looked completely PUT OUT. I'm sorry, but if my insurance is paying for this, you can give your patient a proper explanation. Especially, after all of these issues were pointed out me. I heard the nurse before talking in the hallway that I was concerned about the cost... maybe that's he didn't care anymore? I wasn't any easy upsell? Oh yeah, I also sat in the chair for 20-25 minutes waiting for him to apply medicine on my foot (takes about 30 seconds). So, I show up for my next appointment. The office is all locked. Another lady is there with me. We both have appointment confirmations. Checked both doors, knocked, called. No answer. It appears they went home for the day at 4:30 without seeing their last patients! No one bothered to call us or anything. Save your time and money and see another podiatrist! read more

I had excellent success with Norwood Podiatry. I've had to have foot surgery 3 times before, all at top Boston hospitals. All 3 times the results were not positive. I recently had Dr. Kelley perform surgery. The outcome was excellent!!! I was even able to get physical therapy in the same office. Wonderful. I am pain free for the first time in years. read more
