Tried this place for the first time and it didn't disappoint! I would change the Mac and cheese to be more creamy and have the bacon mixed in, not just on top, add some more meat to brisket sandwich but thats about it on the changes. We will be coming back. read more

So.much.food! Having read the reviews, we decided to deviate off I-5 and get something beyond a usual fast food. Settling on this place, it's a bit of an experience and we had to wander the grocery and gift sections for a few minutes after ordering. Meals aren't cheap, as a sandwich can cost $14 and then making it a soda/fries combo adds another $4. It's very easy to drop $40 for a lunch for two here. This would be a larger complaint if the sandwiches weren't gigantic and tasty. If given an option, definitely go with the the house sauce! read more

My friend and I came to burger night tonight.Seems the store has emptied out and the food items are no longer evident. Whe orderd and waited an HOUR and a Half to get our burgers and then hardly warm.She ask for a glass if wine and they had to put it in a beer glass because they had no wine glass then as we left the help came running out calling my name and asking if we paid after we had.This is really a huge dissapointment.What happen to this place the food and the people running it? It's evident that it has and is sliding down hill.I say close the doors because that is the worst service we have ever had.Unreal on the time serving the food,wine in a beer glass,cold food an empty store that was once thriving.Carry on with the catering because the store and the resteraunt aren't functioning any more. read more

Ironically, we arrived in the area early for an event and decided to stop in here to grab something to eat, only to be late to the event as this place was incredibly slow. I think that it was because there was only one person working the registered and preparing the food, as the other staff member was at lunch. I waited nearly 30-minutes to receive food that was already prepared in the display case, it just needed to be plated. I am still giving this place high marks because the food was delicious, despite the insane wait time. I would love to come back when I have more time as this place did have a very interesting menu with a wide assortment of items. read more

I surprised my husband on Valentine's Day with a take home prime rib dinner from Capay's Harvest. It was SO GOOD! The prime rib was cooked to perfection, all sides were delicious and then the triple brownie dessert was amazing. They take pride in what they serve and it's not just another meal. Ya'll the food here slaps its so daing smacking. First of all let's talk about their Mac salad and potatoe salad, Ya'll know how hard it is to find someone that can get this right? Don't get me started on their pork belly grilled cheese, yoooooo I could eat this everyday for the rest of life and I wouldn't need anything else but a coke to wash it down. Now let's talk about the cashiers and how they have some great customer service. I'm always greeted with a smile and they're so kind and recommend things from the menu if you have a hard time choosing cause all their food just hits the spot. Ouuu Jesus I'm craving their food right now as I'm writing this. Friday's, Saturdays, and Sundays are my my favorite times to go cause it's full of lovely people and the ambiance is just right. First time here, and not a very auspicious introduction. Incredibly slow (was quoted 20 minutes for online order, and waited another 15) and inexperienced staff. Took one bite into my Oliver Twist and immediately knew something was off...or rather, not taken off. The sliced salami still had the casing on it. Once that was sorted, the sandwich was quite good. Seasoned fries were requested extra crispy, and may have been...before they were sealed up in a wax paper bag. Chances of a repeat visit are pretty slim. read more

Absolutely love their food and hospitality. You much go there to experience it yourself. Everything is made there by the staff, so it is so fresh and delicious. Every Friday night they barrel cook Tri-tip or Ribs, always something really good and provide entertainment with a local band. Try them, they are really good. read more

Asked about special of the day, was told it was Tamale Pie and ordered that. It was heaven . Perfectly seasoned, spicy but not too burning hot. Tomato-y but not overwhelmingly so, Corn and olives. Topped with a unique cornbread. I am not a cornbread lover but ate this with relish. The staff friendly, eager to please. Ate out on a patio but have ample seating indoors. Friend had a tri tip sandwich which was loaded and potato salad. She said both were excellent. Noticed they sponsor special events in the dinner hour. Definitely plan return visits here. Capay's was great! We ordered burgers which were barbecued perfectly. They offer outside dining year round. I ordered dinner online for our family in the afternoon and could choose what time we would pick it up. It was so convenient. We all love their desserts too! Great fresh food. Ordered a strawberry and blueberry pie for the 4th of July. Excellent!

I can't speak to whether their food is good or not because I never got my order. Their food truck was at a private event I attended that was a 2 hour event. I ordered and paid for my food in the first 20 minutes. An hour and 25 minutes later, I asked when our order would be ready (nachos and loaded fries) and it still hadn't been started yet. I was told it would be at least another 10-15 minutes. I asked if I could cancel the order for a refund because I had volunteered to help clean up at the event (and had my 5 year old in tow) and they refused, despite the order not even have been started yet. So I cancelled the order, but they refused a refund. I finally got the 2 bottles of water I paid for when placing the order, which were about 90 degrees from sitting in the hot truck not refrigerated. Numerous people I spoke to at the event said their food was cold and not worth the wait. I would definitely never order from them again seeing as I paid $25 for nothing but frustration and exceptionally bad customer service. read more
