Visited July 9 2026. See my receipt as always as proof…read more After leaving Willows we continued on to Orland. We had personal business and stopped in here to see friends. First of all it's totally cute inside with a retro feel! There is also an ice cream shop that is attached to the restaurant. Convenient and great treat after eating next door! Since we had already shared a breakfast earlier we got the biscuits and gravy. Very good with generous amount of gravy and not too peppery! Quick service in a busy atmosphere! Beer and wine available. DEBBIE was so sweet..she brought alittle bacon for Wilbur my dog! ( I only gave him a tiny bit...he's a puppy!). They had some delicious looking pies as well! It was a Great experience with friendly locals and travelers!

There were already two tables seated and a few tables filled right after us and we were greeted immediately, given menus and offered drinks. She was the only server and was super chill and efficient. This is straight up a road side diner. I ordered the I-5 traditional breakfast of two eggs (over medium - which is not always done right, sadly, but they were perfect here), 4 bacon (so good), hash browns (not salted...which is fine because then it's not over salty, but they really lacked any flavor), and wheat toast. Randy ordered the B. A. T. Benedict (bacon, avocado, tomato) that came with hash browns. Hollandaise was bland so that was a bummer. Randy felt the same about his hash browns. There are tables, booths and a couple tvs around an open space.

Visited July 9 2026. See my receipt as always as proof!…read more I have been wanting to go here as one of 2 places ( The Hive) that My girlfriend recommended. First time in Orland. Its a casual yet classy place for lunch and dinner. They have a shaded patio in front as well ( dog friendly). I love smaller towns! Relatively no traffic or crime! My boyfriend and I ordered off the lunch specials menu. He ordered the smash burger and chose macaroni salad. I ordered the grilled shrimp on a skewer with brown rice and spicy coleslaw. We always try each other's food! The smash burger was juicy and the macaroni salad was good! My shrimp had a nice grill on it and the coleslaw was delicious. The brown rice was alittle dry for my taste buds. It has a full bar with tvs to watch sports. There is quieter seating on the other side of the bar area. Overall it was a good experience! Great menu with plenty of speciality cocktails along with some craft beers! Staff is professional!

Service was great and everyone was friendly, checked on us plenty of times. For the food, I'd definitely recommend the Cyclone Chicken and the fried avocado appetizer, those were amazing. Decor is kinda old but who cares, the food was great! Definitely worth the stop if in the area already

Visited July 9 2026 in Orland California…read more This place is amazing! Bee themed with an actual observatory to watch the bees do their magic! It is classy inside and also has a beautiful outside patio for outdoor dining. Pet friendly! I wanted some high grade honey and I found it! The cinnamon infused honey was my favorite followed by the strawberry. Great on crostini bread! Don't overlook their delicious desserts! The menu is awesome because it's more healthy with great options. I would like to come back in the future to sample their dinner menu! It's an expansive place and I believe family owned. Not only do they have a sleek restaurant and bar they also have a flower and gift shop next door and some delicious chocolates! This place even has a gated grassy area for your pets! Plus a barn for events! TAMMY was wonderful ( I think one of the owners) that showed pride of what they offer with her family! Everyone was so friendly and hospitable! I wish I had more time to spend with Tammy about the bees and selection of honeys but it was a long day with a puppy in tow! Its a fantastic place and definitely worth visiting! Next time I will try their prime rib for dinner! 5 stars all around! Great job family! Classiest place in Orland!

We split a Reuben sandwich and fries, and it was delicious! Had sweet potato fries and a biscuit with honey butter on the side: we inhaled it all. OK, is an easy place to gas up the gas hog Suburban too. I wanted to use my 2 for 1 burger coupon I got in the mail awhile back. I already used the 2 for 1 offers on a single patty burger and a breakfast biscuit sandwich. So, now I wanted to use the coupon for 2 Dave's double burgers. The regular price for a Dave's Double is $8.79, just for the burger! Whoa ... that seems a bit high for a fast food burger ... even a In N Out Double Double is just under $5 bucks! OK, with the 2 for 1 coupon it's just $4.40 per double patty burger. The server takes the coupon no prob and gives me my number. The other guys on my crew ordered other burgers and fries. These double burgers are pretty substantial, like I mean heavy, I could tell carrying the two on the tray. I know I can't eat both these burgers so I gave one away to someone on my crew. Each burger had 2 square meat patties, 2 slices of cheese, lettuce, tomato and catsup and mayo. They were less big across than say a Whopper. With two patties, this is a tall burger, I had to open really wide to put that meat in my mouth ... (Opps, did I really say that?). Well, open wide and it fits! The buns was a little squishy though. OK, back to how it tasted .... well, it was meaty for sure, but lacked that wow factor like what a Double Double has at In N Out on that first bite. There was no char flavor to the beef. It was quite filling though for sure, but for the regular price, almost $9 bucks just for the burger, no fries or drink included .... gotta say not worth it. But with the coupon it's an OK deal. The friend that I gave my second burger to, thought that same.
