I figured I'd just get a to go order of a burrito. Carlito's is located in the eastern side of town on Antelope Blvd. other wise known as Highway 36. It's set back in a shopping center across the street from Bud's Jolly Cone ice cream and burger joint. Lots of parking. I go in and place my order with the person up front. I just want a burrito to go (steak) and not have a plate with a bunch of sauce over it, cause I like to eat a burrito with my hands not having to use a fork and knife. I guess that's just me. They said they could do that and I waited not too long. I got the burrito, feeling the weight in my hands, and headed back to my house. I unwrap the foil and its all hot for sure. I have some salsa at home, so after biting off one of the ends, I pour some of the salsa on. YES, this was the taste I was looking for, a real Mexican flavor, not like that Americanized Burrito place at the north end of town.
