Hands down best hats place I've ever been to and best experience as well! The staff is extremely friendly and didn't make me feel rushed at all when looking at the hats. They also do embroidery and I found out that he has been in business for around 40 years which just by their service and amazing selection you can see why they've been a round so long. The owner is rude and lacks customer service skills. My roommates and I came in to get our stoles embroidered for graduation and they messed up on mine by not including a dot after the S in B.S. After calling to see if they could fix the mistake by perhaps redoing the embroidery, adding a dot or just simply giving a refund, I was told that it's "my fault" for their mistake and that it's "too much work" to fix it and I cannot be refunded. At least if there is a mistake I would hope that a refund or at least an apology is granted, but to say it's my fault is extremely unprofessional. Also might I add, the other two sashes that were done with mine (as it was a group order) included both dots...because that is what we wrote down and asked for! So it was simply an understandable mistake on their part and it could've been solved with good customer service; however, this place lacks in that area. I ended up going to Progressive graphics instead as they have better customer service and fixed my stole in a timely manner. Just make sure that if you go to Cap World (I don't recommend) you quite literally watch them embroider because they won't fix mistakes and you won't get your money back! read more

Cap World is great for embroidery if you want something simple and on pretty much anything. Pillowcases, blankets, towels, clothes, etc., they're able to do for you. Definitely ask though before you blame me if they can't do something for you. Yikes. I came in on a Saturday and got a couple items embroidered. The process was pretty simple because I just wrote on masking tape, the words, the size (in inches) and the color of the threading I wanted. The owner pretty much chooses the font for you but of course he shows you a preview first. If you don't like the font, then you can definitely change it. After I finished labeling every item I wanted embroidered, it was ready by the next day. You pay when they're done with embroidering! I went on Monday to pick it up and noticed how the blanket I got embroidered was in a different color threading than I wanted despite writing it down on the masking tape. The owner realized the mistake and gave me a small $5 discount which I appreciated. The total was still pretty close to the original pricing but it was still a discount so I can't really complain. Overall, they're fast and efficient at embroidering and the embroidery looks fantastic. Definitely come here for your embroidery needs. read more

I've been coming to Cap World for about 3.5 years now to get various fraternity apparel embroidered, and I just got my graduation sash done as well. Kae made sure that everything was perfect and the way I wanted on my sash for my upcoming grad shoot, and I was in and out in less than an hour! He made sure to have me double check that everything was spelled correctly and that I was happy with the size of the letters and fonts that I chose. I've never been unhappy with the speed and quality of the embroidery on the items I've brought in either; everything is done within a day or two, tops. I've only seen the owner working every time I came in, so if he seems a little frazzled or stressed, it's totally understandable since he's one guy doing a job that should be done by more than just one dude. I genuinely respect the hustle! It can get a bit hectic around frat/sorority installation season, so if stuff isn't done as quickly as expected, I totally get it. The prices are also very fair and definitely cheaper than places closer to UCR, so if you're looking to get a bunch of embroidery done, Cap World is the way to go! I'm always happy with the services I received and I will continue to recommend Cap World to others. **Located within the Moreno Valley mall on the second floor above GNC. My girlfriend and I came here after being recommended by another friend. We needed to get family jackets for our cultural club and my friend had said that this was the place to go. When we had walked inside, we introduced ourselves (we weren't greeted immediately) to the owner, Kay. We explained to him what we wanted and he was able to write out our designs. There's a slight language barrier, unless you speak Korean, but nonetheless, you just have to bear with the man. He means well - just an Asian man living the American dream of owning a business. In the end, my original design hadn't come out to the way I wanted so I'll probably just get it screen-printed next time. I ended up paying $129 total for four jackets which was a little bit too pricey for me. The only thing saving this from a 3 star review was that they had it done within a night because we were able to pick it up the next day. read more

Unable to answer simple questions.. waste of time even talking to the owner. Came in ready to spend money, but when I asked about prices for a hat embroidery and was quoted "$1000 because you don't say what you want". Thought he was joking... I even laughed, guess he wasn't joking. In fact, I did ask for an estimate with general specifications (I simply asked for a few words on a hat), and even asked about an average price for a usual embroidery, his answer: "there is no average". I don't understand how you can't have a set price for your product, or at least a range/general idea.. Base it off time, amount of letters, size or something to give a potential customer an idea on price. Even an explanation on determining price would suffice so I as the customer can figure out what I can afford. I walked out, seemed like all he wanted to do was waste my time. Good luck.
