Went to Bashas to buy limes and that section was empty (which happens way too often at Bashas). So, 5 minutes later I'm at Frys on the Trail and they had tons of limes and they were on sale. Plus there were definitely staff personnel everywhere. I had to ask one on them where to find more Frys shopper ID. BOOM! NO MO Bashas from now on.

Several of the older employees I interacted with were extremely rude and had unfriendly attitudes. They came across as if they didn't want to be there, which made the entire shopping experience uncomfortable. Customer service should make customers feel welcome, but that definitely wasn't the case here. I understand everyone can have a bad day, but the negative energy and lack of professionalism were noticeable. I hope management addresses this by providing better customer service training or ensuring employees who interact with customers are willing to do so respectfully. Based on this experience, I'd rather continue shopping at the other location.

Most of the locations are more "neighborhood" stores vs the Megastores. Stores are intuitively organized, nice bakery, Deli, Butcher and produce. This location has a Starbucks adjacent to lunch counter and frequently enjoy a donut and Joe before my shopping begins. The Deli carries Boars-head brand meats which I prefer. I also enjoy how quickly I can get in and out of the store vs being lit most in the Megastore and their long lines. My criteria: Parking is easy! Shopping is easy! Check out is easy!

Zero stars for the self checkout machines. You now cannot pay with cash at all at the self…read morecheckouts! They are all card only. Every other store including Walmart, there is at least 1 machine that takes cash. This is extremely inconvenient for some of us. There is also always an issue with the Bashas' shopper account. Back when you first got a Bashas' account and card, there was no app. Now that there's digital coupons like every other store, you have to use the app, which somehow created a second account when you downloaded the app. So now upon entering your phone number, you have to have an employee select the correct account on the screen. I've heard employees of this store complain and make jokes about California, but this store is turning into the neighboring state they love to hate. Service is getting poor, self checkouts are card only, and problems with the customer account......all you need now is no bags and you're there......trust me, a California resident.

Instead of politely offering his cart, the attitude in him vaguely offering me his cart was evident in the limited response I received from him. He seemed irritated and frustrated that I even asked for help. Employees at this location do better! we are all dealing with challenges and difficulties in life. There is absolutely no excuse to be rude and snippy towards customers asking simple questions or even asking for help. Not sure I'll be returning going forward

Mesa Store 110 I…read morewould like to take a moment to recognize Stephanie, the cashier, for the way she handled a very difficult situation during my recent visit. The weight machine at her register was not working, and Stephanie was trying to figure out what was causing the problem. Despite the situation and the growing line of customers, she remained calm and professional. She did not allow her frustration to show or create any negative atmosphere for the customers. I want you to know that Stephanie's calm and positive demeanor made a real difference to me. Honestly, because of the way she handled the situation, I decided not to leave my shopping cart and take my business to another store. I also want to recognize Kyle who provided me with excellent help in the bulk section. I was looking for oat bran and some other ingredients, and this gentleman took the time to help me understand the labels on the bulk items. He also explained that I could have an item ordered by the case if I needed that quantity. He didn't have to go out of his way to help me, but because he was observant and attentive, he noticed that I needed assistance and helped me find what I was looking for--and even gave me additional information that was very helpful. Please let both of them know that their kindness, attentiveness, and willingness to help were noticed and genuinely appreciated.
