It wasn't busy and I was concerned, based on the past reviews. With that said, I decided to try it, because the staff members were very engaging/welcoming as I was looking at the menu. There weren't a lot of staff members working in the front, however, they were energetic and positive. I was greeted within a minute of sitting with water and a menu. The breakfast menu wasn't vast so I was able to make my selection pretty quickly. I ordered the Classico, which had three eggs and a side of bacon and toast and I was pleasantly surprised to see it came with a side of fruit. It wasn't anything 'special', however, it was a quality breakfast I throughly enjoyed. The restaurant was very clean and neat - I'm guessing it was because it was still "early" in the morning - around am. The check out process was fast and easy as well. This is the cantina Laredo in the T terminal at the Atlanta airport (delta terminal). This place was absolutely a scam and terrible. My margarita had a hair encrusted in the ice and the glass was so dirty there was particles from the prior person's drink in my glass that looked like tajin or something. It was really disgusting. Also, I ordered the chicken nachos which was $17 and literally 10 Tostitos round chips came out with a piece of chicken and melted cheese. It was the most scammy thing I've ever ordered. They didn't even offer us chips and salsa like they offered other patrons, or use those chips for our nachos. The whole place felt so scammy and was so dirty and disgusting. Not worth the money. I will say the staff was nice, but will definitely never be returning. read more

Kind of a mixed bag. It's at the airport so maybe that has something to do with it. The chips and queso were so-so. But I think it was the queso that was so-so because I like the chips with the salsa. The fajitas were pretty good though so that's where the other side comes in. My fiancée and I shared the combo fajitas and the meat and veggies were good. But the first thing of tortillas we got were a little hard so we had to get more. Not sure if anything else on the menu would have been better. The staff were somewhat attentive. I understand that it's food service at the airport so it's not super glamorous, but to ignore tables for 10-15 mins at a time is a little concerning. I stopped by Cantina Laredo during my layover in ATL. I didn't have high expectations since I needed to eat quickly before boarding my next flight. The staff were friendly and quick with their service which I appreciated. I also enjoyed the chips and salsa while I waited for my entree. Ahi Tuna Tacos (2/5) - the three tacos came with a ginger slaw and cubes of ahi tuna laid on a generous scoop of guacamole. I wasn't a fan of the ginger slaw, so many enjoyed the top half of the taco with the guac. Chicken Enchiladas (2/5) - The entree comes with 3 shredded chicken and Monterey jack cheese wrapped in flour tortillas covered with a poblano sauce. I'm not sure I would call this dish enchiladas. I ended up eating the chicken with the Mexican rice. Cantina Laredo is a good place for a quick and efficient meal if you find yourself in the ATL airport. read more

Ok so I was hesitant about coming here because super mixed reviews. This place is in Terminal T across from T7. Not super authentic more of a cali-tex mex meal. We came in at 9am for breakfast. It was not busy maybe 20 people between the tables and bar. The vibe was low key which was nice as we were tired. Despite other reviews are tables and floors were clean and didn't feel dirty at all. Our server Tarell was nice and attentive. I ordered the Migas con Buenos and the man got chorizo con Buenos. My food was cooked well , the chips still had texture and the eggs weren't overcooked. I was surprised because it actually had a tad bit of heat and was salted appropriately. I did ask for a side of salsa which had a very nice fresh roasted flavor. The man said his was good also. Each plate came with a potato casserole scoop and a bowl of fresh fruit. I would go back again for breakfast. Also the best staff we have had at the airport- usually you get horrible service AT the ATL. read more

It's the airport so keep this on perspective. This place took over the appt Papi's had for years. Open area, full bar, craft beers and Mexican food. Their salsa is awesome! The service here was abysmal. The staff was inattentive, lazy, and more focused on loudly swearing and talking about edibles than doing their jobs. Even with only a few customers, the bar was left completely unattended. We watched people sit down, wait, and eventually leave because no one ever came to help them. The food was mediocre, but honestly it didn't matter -- the service was so unprofessional and uninterested that it overshadowed everything else. Absolutely not worth a return visit. Cantina Laredo has been a favorite for years but this restaurant and this visit was awful! We ordered fajitas at 11am and the server came back to tell us they were out of peppers AND onions. Ok fine. We received a bare plate of meat and tortillas and nothing else. We asked for cheese and pico after we saw the meat plate. The food was okay but not to the standard of a standalone restaurant. After receiving the bill, we were charged for both the pico and cheese, but they didn't consider crediting our bill for the peppers or onions. My favorite is the apple pie and we ordered it when we placed our fajitas order. The smell was mouth-watering as it was heating but when it got to our table it was over cooked and all crust. There were very few apples! The pie looked nothing like a piece of pie, more like a flat pizza made of pie crust. It was a disgrace! I made a comment to our server but she brushed it off like she wasn't responsible and certainly didn't offer to do anything about it. We still tipped generously but we were very disappointed with this visit and have not gone back and will not go back when flying through ATL. read more

Just across from T7 and on your right as you come through security is a hidden gem at the ATL airport. I travel a lot and have settled for average food at airports, but Cantina Laredo surprise me from its unassuming look as you walk by. The two Mexican draft beers on the menu were not on tap and they had no 22 oz glasses. I waited for my food for a full hour could not keep waiting because my flight was boarding. I should have known when I walked into the restaurant and saw not only 2 team members leaning on tables talking to each other, but also several tables sitting with credit cards perched on the edge of their tables, and one customer trying to frantically wave down his waiter... I had to ask one of the leaning team members what the seating arrangements were and was told to just take a seat. I sat and watched other team members, of which there were several, nonchalantly helping their customers, all while several buzzed by me, but no one acknowledging me. I sat like this for a full 10 minutes. After being ignored that entire time, I got up and left. I fly through ATL 4 - 6 times a month, coming and going from Tampa. Quick service, good drinks and good food. The waitress immediately closed me out after I ordered which I appreciate at an airport restaurant as I've been to many places where I had to wait for a long time to try to flag the waitress down for my check. I had the tortilla soup and it was really good (I recommend the bowl instead of the cup because the bowl is still pretty small). I also had a blood orange sangria which was a delicious and unique take on regular sangria- it was so good I ended up getting two! And the nachos were actually indescribable. What was on the chip? I really don't know.
