Horrible service the Manager bald guy didn't give me what the new server had cut up for me. On my two meat order Manager: it was cut wrong so we took it off your plate and gave you one meat instead of what you ordered. Me: I'd like a refund Let's see if it goes through Btw: can't stop smoking isn't the same place as it used to be the servers and that Cook got lazier, they're not the same down to earth folks no more .

Superior Stone and Cabinet had the Can't Stop Smoking BBQ truck for our team appreciation day. They were awesome to work with: fast communication, professional, timely, and most important DELICIOUS food! Our team greatly enjoyed it and we would use them again!

First time eating here and it did not disappoint at all , the brisket is so tender also the pork, very friendly staff, the sides I got were delicious as well. Definitely will be coming back.

2 Meat Combo with Mac & Cheese & Greens
Omari D.

On this lunch trip, I had the 2 meat combo with 2 sides. They recently returned the serving style the way it was prior to the pandemic. It's good as you get an opportunity to really see and make decisions on the food via cafe style. I choose the carnitas & brisket along with the Mac & cheese and Mustard Greens. All the food looked good so I had a hard time deciding on what to go with. The meat portions were a bit light but I somewhat expected as most BBQ places go by weight. Brisket & Carnitas were good. The bbq sauce was a good balance. Mustard greens were decent. Mac & Cheese was bland. I gave it salt & pepper, but I didn't finish. Similar to the jalapeño muffins, incorporating jalapeños would definitely bring some flavor to the mac & cheese dish. Friendly service and I like the plush seating inside as they have TV's all around so you feel like your home. Lots of signage with specials and add on's. I didn't see the Rib one until afterwards (Add up to 3 Spare Ribs to a combo meal or Lunch special for $2/each). They have a sandwich lunch combo & a few more that fit any budget. I plan to try next time around for ~$7 that includes chips & a drink... I will add the ribs.

Mush beef

Place was a ghost town at lunch, but I have passed by this place fir tears, so someone is eating here at some point. The $6.99 lunch special got me a chopped beef/brisket with a tiny chips and drink. The meat was terrible, it was overchopped into brisket mush and could have been served to baby's. The sweet tea was not sweet and the root beer was flat. Thank you Fritos for being the only good thing.

This is my husband and I go to Barbecue place! I always get the 2 meat combo Brisket and spare ribs!

Family of four serving.

Purchased a family of four dinner on Groupon. One person was ahead of us and after she was served still waited 5 minutes to be acknowledged. Because we wanted two premium meats we had to pay an additional $7. Not a problem if portion was adequate. Family of four portions were very small. Not worth it in my opinion.

Snagged a Groupon and let me tell you--what a steal!! We ordered the BBQ Picnic for 4 and walked away full, happy, and already planning our return. We chose: * 1 lb Brisket - Smoked to perfection! Juicy, flavorful, and so tender you could eat it without teeth. * 1 lb Chicken Breast - Nicely seasoned, though not a standout. * Macaroni Salad - Simple, classic, no bells or whistles. * Garlic Potatoes - Not overpowering with garlic, but creamy, comforting, and delicious. * Peach Cobbler - Sweet and satisfying. A little goes a long way! * Jalapeño Cornbread & Dinner Rolls - The cornbread is buttery with a perfect kick; the rolls are soft and ideal for soaking up gravy. Speaking of gravy--get the brisket gravy. It's magic on chicken, potatoes, and even rolls. Game-changer. The vibe? Classic BBQ joint with wooden tables, quirky decor, and a mini gift shop corner. The place is clean and smells ahhh-mazing. Bonus points: they include plates, napkins, and silverware with the package--super convenient. Service was awesome. Staff is upbeat, helpful, and happy to recommend their favorites. Generous portions Fair pricing Great flavors We'll absolutely be back to sample more of the menu. Can't stop smokin'? Can't stop eatin'!

My mother grabbing some food served by Mickey.

Food was good. Service was good. BBQ sauce was good. Most of us in our group of 5 had a pulled pork sandwich as part of a lunch special ($6.99 for a sandwich, chips, and a fountain drink). Great deal! We added some sides just to try them out. Corn or the cob, the cooked carrots, and the potato salad were all yummy. What stood out & was so surprising was the fact that you are served your meal by a robot named Mickey! This totally reminded me of the robot in the movie, "Flight of the Navigator." It seemed so futuristic at that time that I didn't imagine any such technology would ever be developed in my lifetime when I first saw that movie back in the 80s. How far we have come is truly incredible. The gal at the front counter who took our order was so sweet. We came back at the end of lunch to order a cookie for one of my kids, and she could have just grabbed it and handed it to me. However, since she understood my children's fascination with the robot, she had Mickey bring the cookie to our table. SO COOL! Thanks for a fantastically memorable lunch. Ambiance was really neat as well. Had a warm, fun feel. Loves the theme. Novelties/gifts were also available. We will be back for sure. Positive experience to say the least.

Collards, ribs, tri-tip, and mash potatoes with gravy.

The reviews here seem to fit a bit better than the (much higher) reviews on Google. I was excited to try the BBQ but it was not what I expected. The collards were pretty good, the tri-tip was ok. The ribs were extremely dry which was disappointing as I love a good rib. Maybe better luck next time. I'd give it another shot because the staff was nice, can't discredit that at all.

The Chandler Cat at Motel 6 that won't get any scraps from stingy manager!

The atmosphere is quaint, welcoming, and full of character. Now let's talk about the food--the smoked turkey is hands-down some of the best I've ever had. Tender, juicy, and packed with smoky flavor. And the brisket? Absolutely incredible. It was so tender it practically fell apart with every bite. You can tell everything is made with care and quality ingredients. Whether you're stopping in for lunch or just browsing the store, this place is a must-visit. Great food, friendly service, and all the small-country-store charm you could ask for. I'll definitely be back for more of that brisket!

As always, we love the BBQ here...we typically get the moist brisket, the smoked potatoes, the three bean salad...today I also added a couple of corns and their cole slaw. The food is always so good and we find very consistent. Here's where the customer service outshined previous visits...when I got there and started to order our to-go dinner, I was told the potatoes were gone and they were making more but it would be about 20-30 minutes before they were ready. I was told that someone previously had come in an purchased 30 potatoes, which I will always say...if you are going to order something that large from a restaurant, please be considerate and pre-order so they are prepared. You walking in and ordering that big of an order put the people behind you without some of their choices. No worries today...it's Mom's Day and I wasn't going to sway from getting BBQ for our dinner. I had some other things to do so left the store to take care of other business. Once back home (we live fairly close to the store), I called to ask if the potatoes were ready and after being placed on a brief hold, was told they had some ready but they were flying out the door! The young lady asked me if I wanted to place an order over the phone and decided to do that just so I could be sure we had their most wonderful smoked potatoes. I drove down to pick up our order and was met with some of the best staff, who laughed with me about the situation. They agreed about people calling beforehand when wanting that much food, apparently they also got about 30 lbs of meat as well. It's all good and we will be back when we need our Rudy's fix!

You order at the counter and they'll bring your food out to you. There is a bakery case with yummy-looking cookies and brownies, and a cooler with bottled sodas, although there is a drink fountain. The staff here some to please. I asked about the new chicken though sandwich, and they explained how it was marinated and smoked, and said if I didn't like it to come back up and they'll give me the brisket sandwich, c which was what I originally ordered. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich and the chicken thigh sandwich. Both came served with a delicious slaw and a pickle. They were both yummy, with a great smokey flavor. We also ordered a brownie, which was humongous!

Everything else was terrible. And please note by my reviews that I'm an easy grader. Went with my uncle for lunch. We each had the three meat plate. I chose fattier brisket, pastrami and ribs plus two sides. This came out to ~$36 each. Total bill for the two of us was over $100 by adding drink, cookie, tax and tip. My uncle got kielbasa, brisket and pastrami. Our guess is that the food is brought in sealed and they microwave or use some similar reheat method and do no "cooking" there. All of my meats were beyond dry. It's really hard to convey how dry. The ribs were the biggest terror point since not only was it as tough as leather but it tasted like it was doused in iodized salt. My uncle's plate was not any better. The kielbasa was sliced and overcooked so badly that the sliced edges were burnt and frayed - you've got to really try hard to screw up preserved sausage. I could only do a few bites and threw it all in the trash. They were getting busy and I was not going to stand back in line with trays of food to broach the problems. They make sure to ask for a tip at time of order but there's no service for quality control. My uncle texted me later in the day: "Today's restaurant was such an awful choice for BarBQ. I can't remember when I had worse. We have to go to a real good one next time." It is crazy how bad this lunch experience was and a rarity that Yelps score misses the mark so badly.

If you can't find a spot, there is plenty of free street parking and surface lots around. Ambiance (4.5/5): This is a good-looking BBQ joint. Spacious, with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, clean, well-maintained, and it gives off a contemporary, country vibe. I sat at a booth. They also have free WiFi which is a nice touch. Service (4/5): You order at the counter, cafeteria-style. While there was a line, I got through it quickly. They had all of the items I wanted, and I didn't run into any issues. No complaints. Drinks (4/5): They have their own beer which is pretty cool. With that being said, I wasn't in the mood to drink so I got one of their homemade lemonades. Free refills. Food (3.5/5): I am most definitely a BBQ snob. I'm from Houston which has some of the best BBQ in the country. As a result, I have high standards. I went with the meat plate which comes with your choice of 2 meats, 1 side, and cornbread. Pickles, onions, several types of BBQ sauce (spicy, regular, and gold), and honey butter are available free of charge in the soft drinks area. I went with brisket, ribs, and mac and cheese. Out of the two meats, the brisket was my favorite. Fatty and moist, easy to cut, this is how you want your brisket. It's what Texas is known for and they do it well here. The ribs, while flavorful, with a nice marinade on them, were quite small. Especially for a BBQ joint. And the mac and cheese was solid though it didn't blow my socks off. An above average meal but relatively small portion size. Usually, at a BBQ spot, you leave stuffed. Here, you'll leave full. The best BBQ I've had in Phoenix is located in Gilbert... but it's not Joe's. That honor goes to Caldwell County BBQ. With that being said, still solid. And another nice thing is that if you come in on your actual birthday (you have to show them your ID), they will give you $15 off.
