We are homeowners in Tierra Shores community n menifee for 4 1/2 years that Cannon manages. While they did have to take on the task of following an even worse management company and having to start from scratch, their management skills have been mediocre and unprofessional at best. I definitely do not recommend them, there has to be something better. Please tell me it's so?? Anyone know who manages The Lakes or Heritage Lakes?? I have not heard of half the issues we have with our community? read more

I got a violation letter for installing a satellite dish without obtaining Architectural Committee approval. Okay...the dish has been there for FIVE years, and suddenly it's a problem? Half the houses on the block have satellite dishes. I'm guessing they all got letters, too. What a colossal waste of time. read more

What a horrible criminal organization. I've called EASILY 30 times just to ask about the 5 months of construction that has been going on above my head (with no end in site... on a 1 bedroom apt somehow...) IF you're lucky enough to get someone to actually answer the phone, the "person who's responsible of this property" is never in, and never, ever returns calls when a message is left. I've actually had a few times I've called and they didn't even know villas at flamingo was one of their properties . Absolute joke. When I ask the property manager that lives on site about anything she pretends like she's not the property manager lol. Literally the craziest thing ive ever seen.. but god forbid ur a big enough jerk to do something like order a package from Amazon. Then they immediately know who u are and start sending u letters threatening fines about the package left out during the day while youre at work... so packages are a no go, but the graffiti that's been on the shed for 5 years isn't an issue... absolute joke. How they haven't been sued and out of business is beyond me. read more

This review is for Lindy west apartments. The management is absolutely rude and unprofessional in speaking to you. They say they will fix things but they take weeks even months because they do not consider it an "emergency" so they get to it whenever they want. Our garbage disposal was clogged for 2 and a half weeks, it smelled like someone died in our apartment and they still said we just had to wait. The stench was there for 2 and a half weeks! They changed the gate locks and didn't believe me when I said that they were different keys therefore we needed new copies. I have been frustrated since the first month I moved in, I would never recommend this apartment to anyone. read more

If I could give less than 1 star I would! If your HOA is looking for a property management company, avoid this group at all cost. The property managers are impossible to get ahold of and lack any motivation to help solve problems. Everything is someone else's responsibility. Still cannot comprehend how they are still in business. One day someone will wake up and take this group to court! read more

I used to feel safe here because of the on site security guards that would walk around the property but sense Cannon management took over they have suddenly disappeared.. along with our monthly community newsletters and doggy bags that were provided (we are still paying $50.00 a month towards it anyways) Now there is dog poop everywhere. Last night the laundry room was opened till 1AM (3 hours past closing)! If you are going to have it open that late the least you could do is provide nightly security to the community. read more

Horrible management company. The only refunded $352 of our 1030 deposit after 3 years living at Lido apartments in SB. They tried to say we only lived there for 1 year. They are such liars!!!! We are taking them to court for the remainder of our deposit. read more

Let me start with why I gave 1 star. This is due to the on-site staff that have been great in Menifee, if it were not for them, I would give negative stars if possible. The on-site staff have been very helpful and work with us. I have been a tenant for a little over a year and a half now and cannon management has taken over due to the sale of the property in October 2019 which everything has gone down hill since then. Our upstairs neighbors are drug addicts and dealers. This has been reported to the office and security as well as the police on multiple occasions and multiple neighbors have complained as well. I understand the on-site staff hands are tied being in property management for many years myself but nothing is being done. They have people living on their patio, burnt drugs on foil all around their unit as well as our patio, their "visitors" wearing purge like masks while making more foil for their drugs, knocking on our door all hours of the day and night, staring at us through my patio window when we do not answer, unauthorized dogs, parties all hours of the night, their "visitors" trying to break into storage units etc. this management company NEEDS to do something about this. I have managed properties in the worst areas of California, including Compton and this is by far the worst since no action has been taken to get these people out. We feel VERY unsafe and feel the need to take protective measures just in case. I am now scared to even leave my dog home alone if we go out to work if run errands because of the people upstairs and what they may do. I hope someone takes action before something very serious happens. read more

Cannon Property Management is horrible. They took over my apartment complex in Menifee about a year ago and since they took over, the complex has been ignored. The complex used to be very well maintained, and now it looks ghetto. They don't clean the pool chairs and lounges so all the chairs at the pool have cob webs on them, leaves and flowers blow into the hallways of our doors and they don't have a landscape person come and clean up. A neighbor of mine even had mold in her apartment that made her son sick and they could care less. They said they fixed it and it is still there. Do not rent if Cannon is in charge. I live in Cantabria in Menifee. If I could give them 0 stars I would. read more

This company deserves NO stars. For any post that gives this company 5 stars, you need to look into who post it. If you look up certain names you'll literally see they're affiliated with the company. The staff of this apartment conglomerate do not care about your needs or if their staff, such as the manager, makes mistakes or is nasty towards you they will be put on you. I had the supervising manager of all locations' managers talk to me in the most condescending and rude voice, while telling me she's never got any reports and inciting I was lying about what i was reporting. As soon as I started to tell her about the main concern, which is a legal issue, she talked over me and ended the conversation ignoring me. This is DISGUSTING. On top of the horrible trash system where you have to throw it over a balcony and let it fall down, as well as the overall dirty nature of the area, if you can find rent for the same price somewhere else, don't even consider this place. read more

Cannon Management, La Pacifica Apartments, Listed as a " Secure Property". Gates stay open 24/7, Pools, and Spa's aren't heated, although there are heat stacks on both buildings adjoining these amenities. There is no curfew being enforced on this property, although in the rules posted there should be. No rules are ever enforced by the management team, but when you walk into the Leasing Office, Unless you are a prospective tenant, you are presented with an energy to please leave. Twice during my last year's residency, I was presented with a letter saying I was in breach of my rental contract, when I had a lease at a set amount. It seems one hand doesn't cross check with the other. #SherranMoore is the "Property Manager" but I have yet to meet her when I engage the Leasing Office. Attached is the last letter slid into the crack of my door, which is basically detailing they are in no way responsible for anything to do with this property, other than to accept my rent, then simply turn their backs on anything that may be their responsibilty. The advertising listed on the Rent.com ad suggests this property to be entirely different than what you will find here, and I will not be renewing my residency next year. I clearly understand why I will see people move in and collectively move out.. I am surprised this property and it's Management Team are still in business. . read more

Just the worst. This is one of the worst management companies in the Southern CA region. If you're considering hiring them to handle operations, GO ELSEWHERE. These folks have no clue how to maintain investments-- they inefficiently and I effectively squander resources and valuable assets over a long term period. Their customer service is subpar, and tenants despise them. If you're considering moving into a building managed by them, RUN FAR AWAY. Windwood Condominiums in Corona is not a pleasant place to live at all thanks to the way Cannon Management has people spy on you and make things up about you in order to make you pay for things that aren't happening. Our neighbor was a "Cannon Management Groundskeeper" and would verbally harass myself and my children on a weekly basis about everything. She would then spread lies about my family and have representatives call me and reprimand me for things we weren't even doing. Upon moving out, she proceeded to yell obscenities at myself and my parents and tell me she read my notices from my property manager and that "she's glad I'm being evicted!" Which I am not and I am moving out on my own accord. They are horrid people and the management group they work for, although very thorough when reprimanding you, are not worth the headache when there are plenty of other lovely places to live in, in Corona. read more

As a resident of the LaPacifica Apartments, I had a fire, had renters insurance, and after being told that I would only be displaced for about 4 days to a week, (due to having to redo the kitchen cabinets since "they couldn't be cleaned" ) that turned into two weeks due to a problem with one of their contractors or vendors. At the end of that time, the work I was told would be done was not. Only the stove and cabinets near it were replaced and the dishwasher still had standing water in it when I returned 15 days later. The other cabinets were just as they were the day of the fire. My personal items had paint all over them due to not being covered by the painters and some items were missing from my unit. The electrical outlets weren't covered leading to a nasty roach infestation which they only treated after the unit failed a housing inspection. I was verbally assaulted by one of their vendors and I put them out of my unit, I overheard the manager say to one of them, "If you know that's how they are, why entertain it." The temporary unit I was forced to sign for prior to seeing and even told to get renters insurance for was not renter ready and there was no privacy or working air conditioner unit. I and my children lived on display and in the sweltering heat and still was charged full rent offering no rental concessions even when I asked. Was it my fault that they couldn't honor the timeline given because of the vendor they had issues with which had to be replaced. The response was," If the unit wasn't up to your standards, you could have chosen not to accept the unit and go to a motel or hotel." It should be noted that I never saw nor was I offered the opportunity to see the unit, I was told to sign for it and given the key It should be noted however that the manager asked me to get renters insurance for the temporary unit saying, "What if you start another fire" although shocked and offended, I asked if it was a requirement to which she answered, "No". A lack of professionalism and courtesy but I let it slide. It should be noted that upon receiving the key for the temporary unit, the burners and the pans had been removed from the unit. I was unable to cook for my family for the weekend forcing me to spend money rather than cook. For the two weeks I was there no repairs were done until a few days before I returned home after having an unexpected argument with the manager, when finally a mobile air conditioning unit was brought into the unit and replacement blinds put up providing a sense of privacy. Why couldn't that have been done on the Monday that I reported it. Also, when unable to take the living conditions of that temporary unit any longer having put up with it for over a week and a half now, I went to the managers office and was told that someone would be out the next day due to another emergency on property. The next day, almost five o'clock and no one shows, at which time I go to the office and end up having an unnecessary argument with the manager who failed to understand how serious my complaint was and chose to argue instead. I attempted to bring the situation down a few notches by stating that I am not trying to be the problem tenant, but that...and I was interrupted with, "well right now you are the problem tenant because I told you he'll be there and that's not enough. I don't have time for this, " grabbed her purse and proceeded to leave. I simply wanted her to understand that someone had told me this same information the day before and I wanted to make sure that she understood that, the argument took place instead. Again, not very professional and even when reported to upper management, there was never an apology offered. Not the customer service skills one would expect from a person in a managers position. Long story short, even with having renters insurance, it took 6 months for my kitchen cabinets and drawers (fronts only) to be replaced, the kitchen floor to be replaced and the closet and hallway doors to be properly installed and not drag against the carpet in addition to the electrical outlets getting properly covered. I did get new countertops that their vendor messed up somehow, and my insurance was charged for it. I also know that they were charged for days that I was not in the unit even though I notified management of the issue and the insurance company. I had written thank you letters for the work done in securing a unit for my family but that is when everything stopped. The staff even received awards for the quarter I believe. The living conditions and the amount of time in said unit should have been compensated for by the management company not my insurance, but the managers statement was and I quote, "You know why they won't give a rental concession, because your insurance is going to pay for it anyway." Having been homeless before, I expected that a property this size would get work done professionally, accurately & timely. I was wrong. Thank you reading. read more

Husband and I have lived in their condo's at Sierra Crest San Jose since May and they are the worst management company we have ever encountered. Total Fuc*n Idiots. Everytime we've called in to speak with them, they have no idea what we're talking about since they are based in RIverside, and their default response is, "ok why don't you email us." Really?? Umm why are there so many bad reviews???? I hear crickets. There are so many bad reviews, because Cannon Management is the shittiest property management group out there. I lived at the apartments off of Date and Del Rosa, I give the street, because they change the name damn near daily. Long story short, we had roaches, mice, a 400 light bill because the heater would not turn off (80 degrees for 2 weeks), a whole year with a hole in my ceiling (leaking), then to top it off, my door got kicked the f@$*k in. No one came to fix my door. Lived like this for 2 more weeks. Horrible. I called their corporate. this big sloppy woman never returned not one of my calls. Hello Nick, I just wanted to inform you that your management company failed the way they handle the water outage yesterday at Ontario Town Square. I understand accidents happen from time to time and there is no way to control that. But I DO NOT understand how you company failed to handle the situation after the water was shut down from 1pm to 7:30pm. Cannon Management failed to notify my family and our entire community that the water would be shut down for a period of time. A simple note on our door, text message, phone call, email or even a smoke signal would be nice to prepare us for the water outage. I'm sure there is software you can purchase that will allow you to send a mass notification. My last complaint is that your community Representative bailed on us at 5pm. She closed shop and jumped ship when her 8 hours were up. I believe her name is Sophia, I haven't had the pleasure of meeting her and I really don't want to meet her now. She should have remained on property to answer any questions we had during the water outage. There was no one at the office and NO note on the Leasing Office door to let us know what was going on. I walked around the community during the water outage and everyone I spoke to was not happy at all. I'm starting to believe the negative feedback on YELP for Cannon (I will be posting this email on YELP) and can't wait for my lease to end. Why did you remove the security guard that was posted nightly at our community? Now we have to call and dispatch security if there is an emergency? What is the average response time for this new company to show up and why can't we have a guard at Ontario Town Square nightly? Thank you for your time and I really hope you handle an emergency at our community better next time. read more

DO NOT buy here. The escrow department is the worst company I've ever dealt with in my entire life. They hang up on you don't answer questions. Don't answer/return calls. Do not bother speaking with Roseanne the director because her customer service is worse than any supervisor employed there. She claimed there was no higher management than her. I had to reach out to the coporate office and the actual owner of the company to get them to comply with necessary paperwork required to complete a sale. They're negligence has had my buyer homeless for weeks and a seller on the verge of losing a deal. There is currently legal action being sought out against them for damages incurred due to failure to cooperate. STAY AWAY. read more

Seriously if I could I would give this place 0 stars! They are the WORST company I have ever dealt with! Let me start with saying that while I lived at Parkview townhomes the poor lady they had running it never gave me any problems she was nice and professional my beef comes later. We put down a $1574 deposit and when we moved out in Oct 2013 they claimed we put down $500. Once I provided the cx check proving the amount then it was all of a sudden our first month's rent as well (considering we paid 1196 a month not sure how that would even add up...) I then was directed to Leayh the regional manager. I have no clue what idiot decided to put this woman in charge of anything! First off she doesn't have a phone number....kinda strange considering she is a regional manager but I was given her email. I literally emailed her 4 times over a month period before she bothered to respond. She called from a blocked number and I returned her call within minutes to the "Corporate" number where I went round and round with like 4 different receptionist insisting she wasn't there, didn't have an extension, and that no management was ever in the office unless it was Monday. Again am I the only one who finds this ridiculous for a corporate office?! I emailed her after leaving my info with some poor temp who they made pick up my call. She returned my email not acknowledging ANYTHING I said, insisted after I pointed out that amount couldn't possibly include first months rent that we had received $100 off and THAT I SHORTED THEM AN ADDITIONAL $23!! I let her know I had copies of the rent checks she then said she would be out of the office for over a week! Please check to make sure anywhere you rent is not managed by this place. It is not a professional business and I am sincerely considering taking legal action just for the principle as I feel totally screwed over! They still owe me $1074 which may not seem like a ton to other people but as a single hard working mother it is a significant amount. If you do deal with these people- keep everything! Copies of every single payment- you will need it! read more

Rented from one of the properties they run, Country Club Villas in Upland. Received our lease renewal notification one day then the very next day received a letter that rescinded that offer along with a 60 day notice to vacate. We had paid our rent on time for 4 years and basically kept to ourselves due to the hours I work and was thrown a little for a loss as to what did we do? Approached the office staff as to why and was given an explanation that the owners could at anytime request to take the apartment back. I asked for their Regional Managers number and gave Me. Vandeal(sp) a call. Talk about being unprofessional if you look this word up you may see his picture! He was skirting g all my concerns and at one point tried to hang up on me which made me quite offended. He at this point in a defensive manner and to e put all blame back onto the sit management. I also told him after living at this property for 4 years that I should be afforded at least an explanation as to why and he flat out refused to give a reason. To further add to this I have taken real estate courses and know that all notices of any type of termination letter should be sent certified mail not posted on the clip outside of the garage and also a notice being mailed in regular mail. It is my opinion that if the entire staff is like this how do they stay in business? Their property does not enforce rules of the lease agreements and it takes several calls to get in touch with them. They do not return calls and are rude when they do. The one star I gave them should be a negative read more

If I can give them no stars, I would. I hate this management company with a passion. We moved out of our last apartment complex, which was Cannon Management because of Cannon Management. We moved into our current complex almost 2 years ago and it used to be Alliance Management, which was so great! But into our lease, it changed to Cannon Management and we couldn't believe it. It was fine for a while, but we hate them more than ever now. Upon paying rent this month, they called us saying that our check didn't go through because the scanner can't make out 1 number in the routing number. It's a regular, bank issued check! This has happened twice within the last 4 months. This month, we spoke with the manager, who recommended that we just pay rent online, and since the check wouldn't go through, it would be voided. Well the accountant got the check to go through their bank, without telling the management at the complex. The online payment also went through so now it's made our account overdrawn over the weekend plus overdraft fees. They keep telling us there's nothing they can do until Monday when they can finally get ahold of their accountant. Who doesn't have a phone number to their accountant?! I understand they only work Monday thru Friday, but how did they not catch that between Thursday and Friday?! I love this complex, but I hate this company with a passion. read more

I have lived in 6 apartments and I have never had as many issues as I've had at Ascot Park Apartments. I have some financial issues with my financial aid at school and also with my paycheck being delayed so I try to keep in contact with Marquis at Cannon Management and he took forever to get back to me. Also I had two issues with my apartment and it took 3 to 6 months to get it fixed. I kept leaving messages and notes and I barely got a screen on a balcony after 6 months. My mini blind broke due to the winds and someone came, took the broken mini blind and never came back for 3 months. I talked to Marquis about this and he was very nonchalant about it. So he wouldn't get back to me about the timeline for my rent that was due and then now he won't apologize for the inconvenience for the repairs. When I told him about how nonchalant he was he actually got mad and said well I can just take you to court. I paid a majority of my rent and still have a couple hundred dollars left so there is no reason for that. The lack of communication is baffling and I left probably about 10 messages to his phone numbers and I always get a voicemail but yet he says that he can't get a hold of me. Yeah right! read more

I am so fed up with Cannon Management!!! I find a little comfort knowing I am not being singled out, which is what it feels like. I pay these idiots $330.00 a month. These are 1980 apartments turned condo. Windwood in Corona. I receive letters periodically which are lies and made up crap. Latest is car parked in backwards. I emailed Vanessa Perez in Riverside office asking her the color, make & license of the vehicle, this was two weeks ago, I asked again and she replied they are looking into it. How hard can it be to get this info???? By the way, how does this Cannon Mgmt. manage property in another city? we have no security and I have no idea who is the snitch giving Cannon this faulty info. I hear once a month they walk through and write down violations and fire off their letters threatening $250 fines. Another letter July 9th, states I am invited ( invited is the key word here) to attend a meeting regarding pests in my 8 unit building at 5:30. Well I did not attend as I get home at 6pm and I do not have any pests. Now I received another letter dated the very next day (wow they can do things quickly if its in there favor!!!) Actually there are 3 separate letters in one envelope." The board has reviewed the evidence and found that the owner absence from the hearing has prohibited the issue from being addressed. and would like to inform you that a fine in the amount of $250 will be levied to your account. 2nd letter says my failure to correct this situation has levied a fine of $250 again??? The board is still requesting your immediate attention to this matter. MY FIRST LETTER WAS AN INVITATION YOU F******G IDIOTS!! Please call our office if you have any questions. I DID CALL YESTERDAY AND EMAILED AND HAVE GOTTEN NO F*****G REPLY!!! 3rd letter states all owners are called to a 2nd hearing again at 5:30 so I will take off work early so I can attend to fix a problem I do not have. In May I received a letter stating that all satellite dishes need to be on a tripod on our balconies. I had to call dish to remove the satellite from the roof and placed a tripod on the balcony which cost me $50.00. This is almost August and I am the only person who has complied. Some people have 3 dishes on their balcony. When I was moving here 4 years ago friends told me you are going to hate having an Association run your life. I replied, I am not worried, I don't cause trouble and I obey the rules, what could possibly be the problem. Now I know!!! This so called non profit organization is clearly for themselves and do not give two shits about us poor souls forced to pay them. If they got payed by the service they provided, they would be out of business because people would go elsewhere. Sadly we are forced to pay these useless pieces of crap to f**K with people over the stupidest crap!!! I have a whole stack of ridiculous letters and I could go on and on. My husband and I purchased a condo in Corona this past June that Cannon Management manages as the HOA. Since we moved in, the hot water has been out twice leaving us to bathe in cold water in the mornings for work. The water itself has been turned off without notice on several occasions. The community washer and dryers work on a card system and getting a new card is impossible so you are required to go to a laundry mat or family members to get clean laundry. I have received violation warnings for property that doesn't even belong to me. When you complain via email, they respond quickly but there is never any quick fix. The hot water for example, I was emailed last night and received a reply moments later saying the hot water would be fixed that night. It's now the next day and still no hot water. Cannon Management is not a company that should be managing anything. I highly suggest looking elsewhere if Cannon Management is involved in anyway with your home. read more

It started with the run down when I got my apt in august 2016 , Elena front office assistant did not go through everything the only answer I got was she didn't have much time and had things to do. I cannot wait any longer for my lease to end. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. It begins with the office people. Elena the office assistant most of the times gives residents attitude, does not cooperate with getting answers. MOST of the time I call and she never answers, I walk in and she is always on her phone or having her kids over. I have put in a maintenance order for the third time !! And yet Maintenance does not have the adequate experience to fix "restroom drawer's" Bedroom doors! which for the 5th times has landed on my feet which I feel is not SAFE! These apartments are nearly renovated. Every time I wash my restroom there is old paint crusting off , black residue comes out. The hot water goes on and off. Lets not talk about the parking !!!!!!! You have people fighting all the time there is parking space for 2 cars per household, as security's mentioned!!! There is nothing being done about this, I have offered myself to pay for another parking permit and THE MANAGER MARK, "laughs, with a snotty respond as to its not going to happen. With this being said most of the residents park across the street in a open street next to some other apartments or next to a McDonalds restaurant/ 7 Eleven. They having parking on the side within inside of these apartments but the Landscaping crew that live on the property are sure to part their spot, and residents with working trucks, and residents with multiple cars take these spots. This is part of my frustration I pay a lot of money for rent.maintanence ESPECIALLY for my cars!! I had one of my cars hit which was mentioned to the manager his respond was " THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO" The Apartment manager is so disrespectful. I talked to him last week in regards to the maintenance and all these issues !! I am currently pregnant/ diagnosed with High risk / pregnancy also mentioned to the manager I needed a downstairs due to slipping off stairs, BASICALLY SAID THERE WAS NOTHING HE CAN TO DO HELP THE ONLY THING WAS GOING THROUGH THE WHOLE RENTING PROCESS FROM BEGGING , ADDING NEW DEPOSIT IN SO FORTH. I am very upset with the Customer SERVICE that has been provided from this location, I have never such a bad experience with everything !! The last time I put a maintenance report was about 3 weeks ago and just last week when I spoke to him he mentioned that my needs were not as important to other residents!! You have people walking around all the time. . I would appreciate if people would honestly listen to residents that currently live here, Because if I really had a heads up and somebody told me, I wouldn't be wasting my time and money in this location. Especially being put down by the Apartments CREW ! read more
