So when I stumbled onto Cannoli King in Little Italy, I knew exactly what I had to do. They've got multiple varieties, but I went with the original to get the real measure of the place. Hands down, this was the best cannoli I've ever had. Period. Now I understand why Baby John earned the "King" title. The cream was perfection--smooth texture, ideal consistency, just the right amount of sweetness. Not too heavy, not cloying. Everything a cannoli should be and rarely is. Are the cannolis good? Yes. Would I come again and pay five dollars for a very tiny cannoli? No. I was in Little Italy with a friend who had never been to New York City and never try to cannoli so we came here since it was the closest place to where we were. I usually get cannolis in New Jersey since there is a big Italian population and they do an incredible job, so the prices of this place seem a bit outrageous in comparison, but I understand that it is in a touristic area so that's what you pay. I got the Oreo and the caramel ones. It was $15 for three small cannolis, which seems like a lot to me. The feeling was good, the shell was okay. There is not a set "line" to order which makes it a bit difficult but once we placed our order, they were very quick to give it to us. I genuinely cannot believe how poorly customers are treated at Cannoli King. The owner was sitting in the back near the bathrooms the entire time, watching people and acting more like a security guard than a business owner. I accidentally tried opening the bathroom door without realizing it was locked, and instead of handling it professionally, he immediately started yelling at me in front of everyone, saying, "Do you do that in your own house?" in a hostile and degrading tone. What made the situation even more disturbing was that he appeared visibly intoxicated while confronting customers. The entire atmosphere instantly became uncomfortable and tense. Every employee saw exactly what happened, saw how disrespectfully I was spoken to, and instead of apologizing or trying to de-escalate the situation, they simply told me to leave. No customer should ever be humiliated over an innocent mistake, especially by someone representing the business. There was absolutely no professionalism, no respect, and no accountability. I walked in expecting dessert and left shocked by how aggressively customers are treated here. This place truly has something for everyone, they have so many cannoli flavors, countless cookies and any Italian dessert you can think of. This was a nice stop for a sweet treat on our Little Italy tour, we tried some sprinkle cookies and mini cannolis and they were excellent! It was definitely on the pricier side, but I think that is to be expected in a touristy area of NY. I only wish we could've sat down inside and ate it, but the dining area was for sit down only parties and we just ordered at the counter. Sadly, I couldn't eat the cannoli as they arrived in Fl. Hot as they were not packaged in dry ice as indicated on the box. It was a Mothers Day gift from my son. The mini cannolo itself was good: the shell was crisp, the filling firm and tasty with a few drops of chocolate. However, it was most definitely not worth $4. Kindness is king at Cannoli King. This is mine and my daughter's first time to New York and Little Italy. All my life I've heard about Cannoli and here we are so I want to try a few and I think they are amazing especially the caramel one and that CRUNCH. Unfortunately, this place is kind of a gimmick charging high prices for mid to low quality products. Nine dollars for a small piece of cake, five dollars for a bite-size cannoli. Service is also a disaster. They are not clear whether you order at the counter or sit down and order. we stood in line and ordered, and then when they asked us if it was for here, we said yes. They then told us to go sit down and they would bring it out to us. Needless to say, they did not bring it out. We then had a waitress who took our order and eventually brought out our desserts. It was our first time in Little Italy NYC so we stopped in to try the cannolis. We ordered two mini cannolis, they were each the size of a small finger so about two bites each. The mini Dubai chocolate cannoli was $8 and the other traditional chocolate cannoli was $7!! Not sure if they were just overcharging us since we were tourists but I thought that was ridiculous. This is an easy stop after dinner in Little Italy. There is plenty of seating inside and out and how can you say no to a cannoli. I thought it was delicious. My mom (Italian) didn't grow up with cannoli and was more interested in the large assortment of Italian cookies that were nostalgic and delicious.
