This was recommended by my manager. We were here for the cannolis- we needed something sweet after our lunch in Chinatown. Service was great as we were greeted by a lovely lady who was very friendly and welcoming. We ordered 2 mini cannoli (should've ordered the reg size) Pistachio and Reg, it was def good and lived up to their name. We also ordered a strawberry cheesecake. It was good(not the best we've had) but good enough to satisfy the sweet tooth. Place is big with lots of seating, Def give this place a try when you are in Little Italy. read more

Sitting outside on their sidewalk tables last night during beautiful weather while enjoying a cannoli, a lobster tail, and iced cappuccinos while watching the world go by was picture perfect. After a miserably rainy Memorial Day weekend we needed a nice day to enjoy life. Delicious pastries, drinks, and service from our super nice waitress. Not cheap but worth it for a true Little Italy experience. read more

Didn't know I liked cannolis... delicious !!! Waitress was attentive and super happy to help all the customers. Tables inside and outside are for sit down . Clean clean clean. I had the honor of meeting the owner, who happened to be sitting next to be outside. It was late and he was there just relaxing and talking to his customers. I initially thought it was another tourist or local but it was him in the flesh. Then I realized this spot was featured on tv shows from the boards behind where I was sitting. He deserves his fortunes and riches. Really awesome Gentleman from our little convos read more

Cannoli King - Desserts Near Me - New York, New York

The "Cannoli King" in NYC's Little Italy refers to Caffé Palermo, run by owner John "Baby John" DeLutro, famous for its iconic, perfectly crispy-outside, creamy-inside cannoli with a secret ingredient, serving delicious Italian pastries and meals for decades as a must-visit, bustling spot on Mulberry Street, known for authenticity and charm. Praised for having some of the best, freshest cannoli in New York City, even compared to Italy. The Experience: Enjoying a cannoli here is a quintessential NYC Little Italy moment, often accompanied by great service and stories from "Baby John". We unfortunately did not get stories from "Baby John" but our waitresses definitely were extra friendly! My daughter had a regular cannoli and I had a mini cannoli accompanied by skim cappuccinos which were absolutely delicious! It's always a good time to come here and very delicious! read more

Are the cannolis good? Yes. Would I come again and pay five dollars for a very tiny cannoli? No. I was in Little Italy with a friend who had never been to New York City and never try to cannoli so we came here since it was the closest place to where we were. I usually get cannolis in New Jersey since there is a big Italian population and they do an incredible job, so the prices of this place seem a bit outrageous in comparison, but I understand that it is in a touristic area so that's what you pay. I got the Oreo and the caramel ones. It was $15 for three small cannolis, which seems like a lot to me. The feeling was good, the shell was okay. There is not a set "line" to order which makes it a bit difficult but once we placed our order, they were very quick to give it to us. There is seating and the place has a cute coffee shop vibe. read more

I came in to try my first ever cannoli! The service was fast---I just asked them for one and got it immediately. It was $8 for a large size. The place itself is diner-like, and you can choose to sit down and eat. The cannoli was good, but SO SWEET. The filling tasted like frosting. The shell was crispy, which I liked, but it was hard to cut out the sweetness. Glad I got to try regardless. read more

Is this for tourists? Maybe. Is it delicious? Yes Got a slice of their tiramisu and chocolate cake + one mini cannoli and everything was FABULOUS. Best cannoli I've personally ever had and the cakes were fresh and tasty. Would definitely come back, whether or not this place is a "tourist trap" or not. read more

so many different pastries, and cannoli options. The mini cannolis were four for $20. We got the berry, Oreo, original and espresso. The original was great, the other flavors were a little, too overly sweet and the cannoli itself was a little chalky. There seemed to be a lot of seating in the area. We just got to go at this time. And we were able to get served our pastries fast. read more

I had a really disappointing experience here today, 9/10 around 12:30 PM. The employee working was extremely rude and told us we had to leave even though we had purchased food from the restaurant and were actively eating it while sitting down. We originally purchased our food with the intention of taking it to go, but changed our minds and decided to sit down and eat. I genuinely don't understand why paying customers would be told they aren't allowed to sit and eat food they literally just purchased from the same restaurant. If there is some policy behind this, it was communicated in an unnecessarily rude and unwelcoming way. ( mind you the place was empty and all the tables were available ) I'm not sure if the rule has something to do with wanting tips, but regardless, making paying customers feel like they're being kicked out is a terrible way to run a restaurant. If the goal is to have an empty dining room and make potential customers wonder why nobody wants to eat there, this is certainly one way to accomplish it read more

This place truly has something for everyone, they have so many cannoli flavors, countless cookies and any Italian dessert you can think of. This was a nice stop for a sweet treat on our Little Italy tour, we tried some sprinkle cookies and mini cannolis and they were excellent! It was definitely on the pricier side, but I think that is to be expected in a touristy area of NY. I only wish we could've sat down inside and ate it, but the dining area was for sit down only parties and we just ordered at the counter. Overall I would recommend this spot for an Italian dessert! read more

We had dinner a couple of doors down and had to try Cannoli King for dessert. Boston has great cannoli so I wanted to compare. The girl that helped us didn't seem as friendly, maybe she worked a long day already. The place looked inviting and the cannoli in the display cases looked delicious. We took the treats to go. The cannolis are small, the taste is different but it's still good. I need to find some that compares with the two stores in Boston... read more

$4 for a mini cannolo. Yes, that is correct: $4 for ONE mini cannolo the size of your thumb. I mean, look at the picture. The mini cannolo itself was good: the shell was crisp, the filling firm and tasty with a few drops of chocolate. However, it was most definitely not worth $4. That would be ok for a normal sized cannolo, not for a mini pastry. As prices are not on display I should have asked the price before ordering. Given how much they charge for a mini cannolo, now I know why prices are not on display. Cannoli King? More like robbery king. read more

I was verrryyyy skeptical at first and honestly worried this might be just another tourist trap... BUT thank God I was wrong, because the cannoli was incredible! The filling was smooth, creamy, and perfectly sweet, and the crust--wow, wow, wow. Fresh, crumbly, and full of flavor (I even sensed a hint of ginger). Absolutely delicious. They offer both dine-in and take-out options. If you're grabbing pastries to go, you simply walk down the line, choose your cannolis from the display case, and the staff hands everything over quickly and with a smile. If you choose to dine in, they seat you and bring your order out fresh. Service was fast, friendly, and attentive. Plus, they have clean bathrooms for patrons--praise the Lord! They have a great variety of cannolis, including minis (around $4) and full-size options (around $8). The shop is spotless, spacious, and located right in the heart of Little Italy. You can tell why this place has been around for so many years. I'm so glad we stumbled upon this spot. The cannolis are truly delicious and absolutely worth a try! read more

Absolutely terrible experience. Customer service was excellent up until the owner (who had been making out with a women in the middle of the establishment when we walked in) insisted on walking in one of the woman in my group. Claimed he didn't care and he "wasn't one to be messed with". Cannolis tasted like chalk and owner was completely unprofessional, which lost over half our groups business. So, it's $5 for a mini canoli! And they advertise a bunch of 3 as a deal but we got the check and it came to $15! These things are minuscule. Not worth it. They advertise a hot lava cake, but really it's just a chocolate cake with ganache on the top and then heated up. Another disappointment for any classic chocolate lava cake fans. The decaf ice mocha ($7.50) and the double espresso ($6) were normal. Service was ok, they let us move seats after we ordered because we could smell the toilet in the back of the room after it was used. We probably won't go again. read more

Unfortunately, this place is kind of a gimmick charging high prices for mid to low quality products. Nine dollars for a small piece of cake, five dollars for a bite-size cannoli. Service is also a disaster. They are not clear whether you order at the counter or sit down and order. we stood in line and ordered, and then when they asked us if it was for here, we said yes. They then told us to go sit down and they would bring it out to us. Needless to say, they did not bring it out. We then had a waitress who took our order and eventually brought out our desserts. The inside is also very crowded and not clean. Tables were dirty, chairs were falling apart. I do not recommend this place if you are looking for a dessert. read more

I genuinely cannot believe how poorly customers are treated at Cannoli King. The owner was sitting in the back near the bathrooms the entire time, watching people and acting more like a security guard than a business owner. I accidentally tried opening the bathroom door without realizing it was locked, and instead of handling it professionally, he immediately started yelling at me in front of everyone, saying, "Do you do that in your own house?" in a hostile and degrading tone. What made the situation even more disturbing was that he appeared visibly intoxicated while confronting customers. The entire atmosphere instantly became uncomfortable and tense. Every employee saw exactly what happened, saw how disrespectfully I was spoken to, and instead of apologizing or trying to de-escalate the situation, they simply told me to leave. No customer should ever be humiliated over an innocent mistake, especially by someone representing the business. There was absolutely no professionalism, no respect, and no accountability. I walked in expecting dessert and left shocked by how aggressively customers are treated here. I will never return, and I strongly suggest others spend their money somewhere that actually values basic customer service and decency. read more

I've made it a personal mission to try every cannoli I come across while traveling this country--it's just my thing. So when I stumbled onto Cannoli King in Little Italy, I knew exactly what I had to do. They've got multiple varieties, but I went with the original to get the real measure of the place. Hands down, this was the best cannoli I've ever had. Period. Now I understand why Baby John earned the "King" title. The cream was perfection--smooth texture, ideal consistency, just the right amount of sweetness. Not too heavy, not cloying. Everything a cannoli should be and rarely is. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. If I lived in New York, I'd be a regular. No question. 10/10 - Earned the crown. read more

Hands down the best cannoli I have ever had. Worth the trip to Little Italy to get a few cannoli to indulge on.

I am surprised that even after completing 50 years of restaurant celebration, they still don't understand customer empathy.
