Been going for about a year, guys behind the counter and RSO's are informative and super chill as…read morelong as you're not doing anything dangerous. Like any other indoor range they check ammo, but generally don't care what firearms you bring, most I've gotten is "Oh dude is that a X? Sweet." On the firing line. I only shoot pistols here, rifle and shotgun ammo must be bought from them (no thanks.). 25 yard range, ventilation is pretty good but FT3 in Stanton is definitely better. In the firing line the marks for distances are numbers on the wall for yardages with lines painted across the floor for reference. I typically pay $25-28 for a lane and 2-3 paper targets, if you want to bring your own it must be approved by them. Only thing that might be a turn off is the fact that it isn't the prettiest range, and the furnishings are pretty lackluster. I've never seen a chair on the firing line and there are wood benches about 10 feet behind the line. But for the value, solid target selection and good options for rentals (Glocks, M&P's, 1911's, revolvers, many more) you can't really beat it as a regular without spending significantly more for a club membership or range fees elsewhere.

Professional, no frills and easily accessible! You CAN bring your own ammo but have to purchase shotgun ammo in house. Will definitely be coming back for a casual range day when I'm back in town !

I recently completed the Pistol 101 course at Burro Canyon with Tom from L.A. Progressive Shooters,…read moreand it was a transformative experience. To be completely honest, I started this class with a significant amount of fear regarding firearms. However, the patient, safe, and professional manner in which we were taught immediately put my mind at ease. Tom does an incredible job of prioritizing safety above all else, ensuring that every step is understood before moving forward. His teaching partner Val added such a wonderful, welcoming touch to the class. Her presence and guidance made the experience feel even more approachable and inclusive. Because of their combined efforts, I walked away with so much more confidence than I ever thought possible. If you have been hesitant or nervous about taking that first step, I cannot recommend this course enough--you will be in great hands.

If you're someone who knows nothing about pistols or don't care to buy one but want to know pistol safety and the "feeling" of using a pistol - I recommend this class! There are many options to choose from but if you're not sure where to start - I recommend the Pistol 101-A: Friendly Intro to Firearms online video!! This will give you a good idea of how you want to proceed while also learning the 4 rules of firearm safety. I took the 4-hr Pistol 101: Safety & Fundamentals training afterwards and honestly time flies when you're learning and having a good time with the instructors and classmates. Also, shout out to my classmates for being supportive and warm, really diverse group! If you do take the in-person trainings at the gun range, I would say please be patient and careful with the driving since it has some curvy areas and wifi is wack up there plus some construction. Definitely take water and snacks!! (FYI; don't put any sweet perfume before the training because the bees wouldn't leave me alone!)

As he went through the paperwork validation, he said he can see if he can find more information on it for me. He went to the back and also looked at a list on the board and searched on his computer. He looked up and told me that he found it and could order it for me. I immediately jumped on it since I was looking for it for a while. I finished up my pickup, paid for the additional ammo Joseph suggested and went to deposit on the firearm. Samantha was helpful both times I went in and always greets everyone as they come in when she's working. Fast forward to pickup day, Derek helped me out and went through the pickup process fast and was very knowledgeable and friendly. Before I left he offered me related items, but I had everything I needed from my previous visit. Overall I had a great purchasing experience and their level of service is the reason I go back to this specific location. Prices are always good and the elevated level of service adds more value than other big box retailers. Definitely recommend this location and these three individuals for all your needs from Turners.

While he was deciding and waiting for his turn, the clerks behind the firearm counter were speaking very loudly about "day drinking" and hoping to clock out in time for happy hour later that evening. One individual in particular (bald/sparse hair with glasses, someone I had not seen there before) seemed especially vocal about it. Hearing employees openly joke and talk about being intoxicated while working behind a firearm counter immediately raised serious concerns for me. Firearms require a high level of responsibility, awareness, and professionalism, and hearing staff casually discuss drinking while actively assisting customers was alarming. What made it worse was how loud and proud the conversation was. They were laughing and hyping each other up about drinking while customers were standing right in front of them. Whether they were joking or not, it reflects extremely poor judgment and creates a very bad look for a business that sells and handles firearms. It gives the impression that safety and professionalism are not being taken seriously. In an environment where safety should be the absolute priority, hearing employees casually talk and laugh about drinking while surrounded by firearms is incredibly concerning and completely unprofessional.

My instructor, Eloy, is both funny and a hardass. Safety first! And after the past two full days, in the process of getting my CCW permit, I absolutely know more and improved more, in terms of confidently handling my weapon both safely and effectively. This is the place I'd recommend to my family and friends if they decided they also needed this training.

Their instruction revealed gaps in my knowledge that previous classes never addressed, to the point where I seriously questioned whether I was truly worthy of the responsibility of carrying. What sets Seven 4 Para apart is the depth of their expertise, real-world experience, and unwavering professionalism. They took me to an entirely new level in safety, technique, and situational awareness. My initial CCW class two years ago felt like a rubber stamp by comparison--no real challenge, no deep accountability. If you're serious about elevating your gun ownership, self-defense skills, and overall responsibility, this class is exceptional. The volume of essential information packed into 16 hours is intensive but absolutely necessary. Eloy and Alec go above and beyond to ensure every student truly understands the concepts--they won't sign off until they're confident you're safe, capable, and respectful of the responsibility. No shortcuts, no rubber stamps here. Huge thanks to the entire Seven 4 Para team for investing the time to advance my knowledge, sharpen my respect for carrying, and improve my decision-making under pressure. This training was worth far more than the cost--it's an investment in safety and peace of mind.
