Service: Good. Got checked on regularly by friendly staff:…read more Ambiance: loud, colorful, probably a good fit for a loud drunk brunch vibe. A lot of seating and a back area with fans. Food: This place is quite bad. We ordered the tortilla soup and the vegan tofu chimichurri. The tortilla soup was inedible it was so salty. The tofu was grilled and entirely burnt on the bottom. I had to slice the entire bottom off. The chimichurri sauce was flavorful. The yellow rice side seemed like bagged instant rice. The maduros were good. Did not try the alcohol but they had a large selection including non alcoholic options. The place adds a 20% auto gratuity fee. Kind of absurd on a 2 person check. I am Latina so perhaps I have a higher expectation for Latin food but I'm perplexed at how this place could have such high ratings, perhaps it was just a bad night. I would never go back and would not recommend.

For our entrées, we enjoyed the chicken milanesa, shrimp al ajillo, and steak and shrimp with fresh vegetables. Everything was beautifully presented, flavorful, and satisfying. The drinks complemented the food perfectly and added to the festive atmosphere. The service and ambiance at the Colombian restaurant were excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. The atmosphere was warm, lively, and inviting, creating the perfect setting to enjoy our meal and drinks. Overall, it was a delicious and enjoyable Colombian dining experience. We asked for a bucket of beer and we only received six cold beer with no bucket. Ik they may have ran out of buckets due to the amount of people ordering it, but at least mentioning it before or explaining it once they put the beers on our table. We also asked for the check 10 minutes before the game ended, and we just saw the waitress walking back and forth into the kitchen and out of it. Finally, she took a glance over our table and remembered we asked for it. Waitress at this restaurant should be better trained and have a better synchronized system with the tvs. Not recommended if you're going to see a sports game.

Minimal preparation did the trick. The meal didn't break the bank either and I left full and happy. If you like Latin food - give this one a try. It's nothing fancy to see from the street or when you walk inside, but they are the nicest people in here and they prepare food that tastes homemade. I ordered the beef stew to go and sat down at one of the dozen or so tables. The kitchen is on the right side and to the rear behind the counter. A steady stream of people are coming through while I wait on this Friday evening around 7:30 or 8:00. A couple is in here eating dinner and it's a calm evening. The hospitable woman working here who took my order told me the dish is served with a sweet plantain, but I didn't realize it was a whole plantain sliced in half lengthwise until I got home. You get the sweet plantain over rice with the savory beef stew in a separate container to pour over the rice and plantain. I wish I had taken a picture of it all before devouring it. The beef stew is tender and savory. I only wish they were more generous with the beef. There are potatoes and carrots in there and probably onions that have been cooked down and hidden in the thick gravy. I can see eating this year round, particularly on a cold snowy day in February, hard to imagine this summer with temperatures regularly hitting the nineties. The restaurant is kept clean and orderly and I imagine the rest of the menu is very satisfying. 3.7 stars!

The Bandeja Paisa has all the flavors and everything you want from a Colombian dish. It has sausage, steak, fried pork belly, egg, arepa, sweet plantain, avocado, and rice and beans.
