I don't know if I should be proud or bashful to say, sitting at Lake Como, Italy, having a freshly prepared pizza, I was wishing it was a honey bastard at Cane Rosso instead. This place is all around great. Not your normal pizza joint, it's "authentic" In house everything mozzarella, sangria, crust made with four ingredients, heck even the oven is straight from Italy. I was lucky enough to get Lilly as a bartender and she walked through everything from apps to dessert. I'd give this place 6 stars if I could. The food was to die for. All locations are NOT the same! Last week (on a Friday) we had a very large party reservation. It was the easiest reservation I've made in my life. Our server, Jules, was simply stunning. Truly, just the best! She managed our large group, multiple tickets, other tables, and all our requests like it was the easiest thing in the world. For my meal, I asked for an appetizer that came with an item that I could not eat and I asked for a possible substitution (I asked if they had any veggie sticks). She looked at me with a twinkle in her eye and said she would be right back. After chatting with her manager, it turns out they had a sensitivity-free alternative that was even better! She said it was a $1 upcharge... whatever, I'm so grateful and it turned out to be one of the best things ever! All of our food was fantastic and cooked perfectly! I've been dreaming about that meal for a week and went to a different Cane Rosso location this evening with my husband for an encore performance. This turned out to be a poor choice. Two managers later, (the short version) I was told that they had the ability to accommodate similarly but that they would not and that the Arlington location should have refused. I found that to be an interesting take on food service. I was told that this was a busy Friday night and they would not use this product in this manner. In order to be accommodated similarly, to the previous meal, I would have been charged an additional $20 to the cost of my appetizer. They then offered to comp our $16 bar tab because of the disappointment. Do you see the irony here? At this point, after an exhaustive display of semantics, my husband's pizza was done and we opted to just take it to go and leave. Upon arriving home, we discovered that the pizza was not only undercooked but almost completely raw in the center 40-50% of the pizza. While it was an utter letdown on nearly every front, I really need to point out that our bar server was delightful. All locations are not the same. The Arlington location exceeded expectations we didn't even know we had. We are now forever sold on the Arlington location and encourage you to do the same. read more

The service was outstanding! The food was below average at best. I ordered the basic pizza and there were two huge issues. First it hardly had any red sauce and second they put so much olive oil on top that it killed the flavor. It was my first time here today, and I had a lovely truffle carbonara pasta! I asked for it without bacon, and it was still delicious! I recommend this pasta, it is creamy and full of flavor. They don't have sweet tea, but do have unsweet tea, and a variety of sweeteners upon request. There are no pizza slices, ordering a full pizza is the only option, however. Got the roni one and a truffle white sauce based pizza a few weeks back. Great service and very well staffed. My father enjoyed the brisket lasagna and said it's the best he's had so far in arlington-hes not a fan of soupy lasagnas and most places do that style. The style here is a hefty square and filling he said-offered on weekends only until they run out. Nothing hit the mark. It was like eating at an expensive Italian Chili's. The appetizer (Nuggz) was clearly preciously frozen. My first drink, Campari Spritz, was so bitter I couldn't drink it. I like bitter but this was awful. Fortunately I sent it back and got the limoncello margarita - that was good. My husband's old fashion - liquid didn't even cover the ice cube, and there was no orange twist, just a slice of orange on a napkin. My son ordered the carbonara - a gross bowl of grease. No one could eat it. The pizza of the month was a bbq - Mexican conglomeration. It wasn't bad but definitely light on the bbq and could have cooked a few more minutes. It was busy, the service was slow, the general attitude of the staff was that they didn't care if we were there or not, and the food kinda sucked. Our waiter, Eric, was the bright spot of the meal - he really tried. But with the bar and the kitchen falling more than flat for a $100 dinner for three - we won't be back. read more

It's my first time here and the place is nice, staff is friendly but the food needs improvement. Although tasty, the sauce tasted from a can, the crust was a bit chewy and bitter (the bottom of the oven needs cleaning to avoid that bitter taste) and the cheese looked like plastic once it got cold. I want to to give this place another chance, so I will try the other locations first then come back here. Some of the ingredients need to be fresher, the fruits in my sangria tasted stale. Awesome fire baked pizza with a nice chewy crust. They had a lot of great choices. We ordered a pepperoni pizza off the kids menu that was almost as big as the regular pizzas. I was there with my wife and two kids. We were greeted by two hosts who had their mean faces on. I had to do their job for them by saying I needed a table for four after they stared at me with the same face. I love Cane Rosso in the one in Deep Ellum. The one in Arlington however kinda pissed us off. We had a 30 minute wait, waited the 30 and got a call asking us where we wanted to sit and said that we were ready. Once we sat down they told us it'll be another wait until a server gets to us. We asked if we could sit in the sun since I was a little cold and they told us no. In the middle of service they switched servers.We got the Chicken Alfredo, wasn't all that. Olive Garden has better. The honey bastard was good. The calzone was good. And the build your own options was good.The pomegranate mule was really good the chips were salty for our spinach dip and the calamari had no flavor. They charge 2 dollars for ranch? A bit excessive when other places charges .5-1.00.$ Over all it wasn't the best and not the worst but definitely not worth coming back for us.‍ read more

Simply the best pizza in dfw. My favorite is the zoli, but many are delicious. Housemade sausage and hot soppressata. Mmm
