The space is intimate, cozy, and beautifully decorated with a New Mexico inspired vibe that gives it a unique touch. The bartender was super nice, and the music was great all night. It was definitely more of a lively atmosphere, so conversation was a bit difficult at times due to the volume, but we still had a wonderful time enjoying the drinks and music. Overall, it was a fun experience, and we're glad we stopped by. We'd love to come back on a non Sunday evening to experience the speakeasy in a different setting.

I asked the bartender if they could change one of the TVs to a game I wanted to watch. I was told they couldn't do it and didn't know how. I didn't argue or make a big deal about it and just let it go. What bothered me was that not long afterward, an Asian woman asked the same bartender, who was also Asian, to change the channel. Suddenly it was, "Sure, no problem." They walked over and changed it within seconds--to the exact channel I had asked for earlier. To make matters even worse she didn't even purchase anything from the bar, she was just sitting down with her partner. At that point, it wasn't even about the TV anymore. I was left wondering why I was treated differently. Was it because I'm a man? Was it something racial? Was it simply that the bartender didn't feel like helping me? I honestly don't know, and I'm not going to pretend I know their reasoning. But when you tell one customer you can't do something and then immediately do the exact same thing for someone else, it understandably leaves a bad impression. To make it even stranger, once the game was put on, a whole group of people gathered around the TV to watch it, so clearly I wasn't the only person interested in seeing it. The beer selection here is genuinely good, which is one of the reasons I kept coming back, but the service has been consistently disappointing. There are one or two bartenders who are genuinely great, but unfortunately I rarely seem to get served by them. Most of my experiences with the staff have come across as dismissive or rude. I don't expect special treatment. I just expect customers to be treated consistently and with a basic level of respect. After this experience, I honestly don't know if I'll be coming back.
