Thank you Amy & Jackie, for your hospitality and welcoming the LBC Hero Squad. Your patience and compassion for our neurodivergent children didn't go unnoticed! When Amy expressed that we parents are doing "God's work" it simply pulled on my heartstrings. We do what we do because all neurodivergent children (and their parents) deserve a community they can rely on for support! Opening up your business to our community speaks volumes! For a brief moment, my son felt like Willy Wonka! We appreciate you! read more

I came in on a Friday with some family after seeing a video online about this place, very bright and great decorations, lots of nostalgia. However when me and my family came in we weren't greeted or acknowledged the entire visit. Made the experience less than what it could've been, and we ended up leaving the store empty handed. Great location to check out other stores and local businesses as well. read more

What an amazing place! This is a true family business, and just a ton of fun. We were visiting my sister in Long Beach, who'd planned a special trip to Candified for a Creation Station activity - but we didn't make a reservation and arrived to a closed shop. We contacted the owners and Amy replied with a passionate apology, explaining they almost never close but due to having no reservations decided to use the day to work on their Christmas displays. She offered to have us come back on another day and even open the shop early for us - then gifted us the activities for free (entirely unnecessary but so appreciated!!) When we came back they couldn't have been more kind, and we all had a blast. The kids made the geode cookies (my 5 year old was mesmerized by about 50 shades of edible glitter options!), and we browsed the incredible candy selections. The shop is well organized and carries everything your heart could desire - old fashioned and hard-to-find candies, British and Mexican specialties, crazy things like 5lb gummy bears, and even candy-themed makeup. It made our trip magical, and the owners clearly genuinely care about customer experience. A delight for kids and adults alike! read more

This is the best candy store you'll ever step foot into! The selection of candies, service, and ambiance is a 10/10! We came here for a play date and the kiddos had so much fun creating and eating their sushi trays! D Micah was so helpful, sweet, and kind. He took time to answer all my questions and recommend some new candies to try! I left with a sugar high and it was WORTH IT! I also learned that they can host Girl Scout troop events and they get to earn a badge. Can't wait to be back for more fun and delicious candies. read more

I brought my 7 year old son to have some fun creating something out of candy through Candified's Creation Station, and it did not disappoint. Craft choices were so clever with something for everyone. The service was outstanding-quick and helpful but most of all, kind. The store itself has such a positive vibe. Good service, good selection of candy and the price is average to other candy places in the area. Nicely decorated inside.

I brought my 3 daughters in to Candified while we were biding time from out-of-town. Jackie and Seth were amazing!! From the minute we stepped foot in the door...it was magical!! They were able to immediately accommodate us in setting up at the craft table, as walk-ins. I randomly came across this shop while looking for things to keep my kids busy and this was perfect!! I came across this place via a tiktok post right when I needed an idea for a mommy and son date! I was so happy that I did. My son loves anything candy. I surprised him and he was not disappointed. From the moment we walked in we were greeted kindly and treated like special guest the entire time. We selected to craft our own cookie pizza with lots of yummy candy options on top. After that we browsed the store and found cool candy we had never seen before. I got a sour pickle and my son got m&m popcorn to go! We even made his big sister a pizza as well. Such a cute little spot to take your little one. Bonus the beach is right down the street, we took a stroll after to walk off our candy high! :) check em out you won't be disappointed. read more

We've died and come to sweets Heaven. This was totally a surprise discovery for us so imagine our surprise to find candy after candy from our childhoods. They had Mallow Bars which I thought were extinct, Butter Mints, Laffy Taffy, Ice Cubes and all sorts of forgotten favorites. Biggest selection seems to be a vast variety of gummy candies so no matter what flavor you crave it's probably here. We'll be back as soon as the sugar rush subsides. read more

Over priced. For candy. Also rude owners. Snapped at me for asking a question. I rather go to the dollar tree for candy. And somewhere else for bulk candy. They really need to think about prices right now. Especially when it is so hard to just buy milk and bread. Especially gas. Do something so you can last on second street. Lower prices and more customers is Better then high prices and a few customers. read more

We celebrated my daughter's 13th birthday at Candified with 13 teens and preteens, and it was fantastic! The girls had a blast at the Creation Station making candy sushi--a fun and creative activity that kept everyone engaged. Omg if you haven't visited CANDIFIED on 2nd Street in Belmont Shore, you need to go now!!! It is literally my little candy dreams come true! It's closer to the beginning of Belmont near the LBFD house and you can't miss it with the beautiful store front. When you walk in, it's like you've walked into a magical world of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory + The Louvre in Paris + if it was in WEHO! Haha I loved every second of it and I really enjoyed speaking with one of the owner's husbands. Came here for the Swedish candy but the inventory was scarce. No bubs or skulls. We still got a few things but things were labeled wrong and most of what we got was hard and stale. BEWARE!!! Be CAUTIOUS of this business. It recently opened on our wonderful 2nd Street neighborhood. They posted the sign I've attached to tell you that you're being videoed by them and can be used by them. We didn't go in until it was no longer obviously clearly posted at the front door. We told the staff and owners we didn't want to go in or videoed so that's why we came in only after the sign was taken down. The owner acknowledged that many people weren't coming in because of that. SHADY owners moved the sign in the lower corner, basically hidden, and put their cotton candy machine to cover and hide it too!!! SHADY!!!! They are an OC couple too... that may fly in OC... NOT here If they are SHADY about their sign... What else are they shady at... it makes you wonder... maybe the weighting machines are tilted in THEIR favor... Go at your own risk... SHADY!!! read more
