What an amazing space! Our family went to candytopia pop up a few years back and still talk about it! This is such an amazing fun, creative extension. Everyone was so kind and welcoming and my kids had a blast being creative with a different medium! There's so much variety that you can spend so much time just looking around. We smiled the entire time we were there...and my kids keep talking about going back and what they want to create next! Thank you Candified for an awesome experience! read more

Fabulous candy shop. Popped in to see if they carried Swedish candy & jackpot! They also carry gobstoppers which is difficult to find except online. Highly recommend. read more

Super cute store and they have just about everything you could imagine. The staff was super nice and helpful. My only complaint is that I went there for Swedish candy and I think that the Bubs are not original. I've had the ones from bonbon in New York and they taste completely different. There's much less flavor in this Swedish candy. read more

Candified is one of the most unique places in Long Beach: As part of a Leadership Program from the Soka University of America, we were fortunate to visit Candified. It is a rare delight to encounter not just one but two founders working side-by-side: Amy Kavanaugh, with her extensive experience gained directly from working alongside the founder of Starbucks, and Jackie Sorkin, whose captivating shows have captured the hearts of viewers worldwide. Candified brings joy not only to children but also to adults, offering a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in an ambiance of magic and gastronomic creativity. We would also like to specifically express gratitude for the enthusiasm, passion, and kindness of the assistant, Grace, and we hope to see her visititing our campus in the future. read more

Think color me mine with a full on candy twist! The staff is truly amazing and so welcoming to the kids and their creativity. We paid $29 for the afternoon activity (there were a few to choose from. With and without candy). Everything is currently Halloween theme but the staff made mention they will be doing something fun for Christmas and winter holidays as well. We will definitely be going back! Shoutout to Jackie Amy and D Micha for making my girl feel so special! read more

I live off of 2nd street and I saw them building this place. Was so excited to come and finally found time to. My boyfriend and I got a full bag of the large bag of candies/chocolates and paid less than $15. I'm seeing some people post about how expensive it is... to go to 7/11 instead... Honestly go for it. But I told the person working the register that paying less than $15 for that much candy is WAY cheaper than other candy stores, especially the ones you find at malls. Don't go here if you just want regular store candy, OBVIOUSLY. Their staff was helpful and honestly really friendly! I am in no way shape or form being paid for this (could be open to being paid in maybe candies lol). But I only write reviews for places who have treated me with kindness and respect, and I got that from this place. Attached some pics too, loved their halloween decorations! read more

We just had my daughter's 7th birthday here and couldn't be more impressed. The staff was so amazing, kind, and patient with the girls. The activities are so fun and creative. The store is ridiculously cute. I didn't bring decorations because there was no need to compete with that!!! Amy(one of the owners) heard the girls are all girl scouts and gave them a badge!!!! Such a fun day and I can't thank Amy and staff enough for making my daughter's birthday so special. We'll be back for more creation stations that we haven't done yet! read more

100% the best combination of heart, joy and fun! Jackie and Amy have MASTERED the art of creating a place where you can go be yourself, have fun and enjoy some treats! They turned a candy store into an entire experience for all ages and demographics. Their store front is not only welcoming and inviting but you end up staying because they have fun activities that pair magically with their candy. My kiddos and I love going here especially because we love supporting new local business that embody the community and brand. This store is genuinely that "Christmas morning" type energy. My daughter and I were walking down second Street in Belmont Shores and stumbled across this amazing candy shop! It was my daughter's birthday, it was meant to be "my 9 year old daughter said" when I say candy shop, that's an understatement! From the awesome decor, the life size candy and the huge assortment of candy is amazing! To top it off the have a creation station you can make your own candy pizza, candy sushi and candy slime! I believe we met the owners- if they weren't the owners, they were great with explaining how everything worked, also directing us to Candy we were specifically looking for, like I stated it was my daughters ninth birthday, who I believe to be the owners, gave her a free lip gloss that was in the shape of a cupcake! My daughter was very happy! We can't wait to go back if you're looking for a place to host a party or stop in for some yummy treats this is your place! read more

We had my nieces birthday at Candified this past Saturday and it was AMAZING! The staff was so friendly and easy to work with. The kids had an AMAZING time! The kids got to make some beautiful delicious crafts which were guided by the team making it easy to just chill with the other parents. The atmosphere and the vibes were SWEET! We could not have asked for a better party. Even though the kids made their own sweet crafts it was fun to get to see some old and new school candy on the shelves. Mango sour strips are my personal favorite! We will definitely be back sooner than later! read more

Shopping for a venue to have my daughters 7th birthday and I can across Candified. I visited the store to ask some questions about the birthday package and was pleasantly surprised. Every single employee was accommodating and thoroughly explained what the day would consist of. Fast forward to the day of the event and everything was perfect. The crew even adjusted accommodations because I miscounted the children, my bad. Anyway...Clean, attentive and caring employees/owners, great ambiance makes this place an overall hit. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this store! Not only is it like a dream come true when you walk in...I mean who doesn't feel like a kid when they go in to a candy store. Talk about nostalgia! But in addition to the amazing candy that they sell, the staff could not be better. And the decor (all made of candy) is so fun to look at! Every time I've been in, whether for a quick visit or for one of their creative craft activities, they have been nothing but phenomenal. They are accommodating, knowledgeable and just overall fun! We have been in multiple times just to buy candy, and have now done the bento box candy sushi activity and the gingerbread house, and both activities were tons of fun! Everything is provided and ready to go when you arrive, and the staff regularly checks in to offer help and suggestions. I would 100% suggest stopping by! And chances are, once you do, you'll keep going back for more!!! Thanks again to everyone at Candified! read more

I stumbled upon this gem while in the area; I met the owner The Candy Queen and she's the one who told me about the birthday packages and I was more excited than my daughter. My daughter celebrated her 9th birthday here a few weeks ago and it was the best time. The candified staff is amazing, they host the entire party. The parents hung out in the back while the kids enjoyed themselves. We opted for the package that included slime and candy sushi! It was honestly the perfect location and the perfect thing for girls this age. Thank you guys! read more

This store is so amazing to look at. Wow was all I could say when I walked in. However there are no prices on anything except the cost by lb.for the scooped candy. Over 14.00 a pound??? We bought one chocolate bar and a pack of nerds and it was 17.00 with no tax. The prices are ridiculous. I believe if you're charging that much for the items you should have prices out. The store is beautiful but I still can't get over the prices. Godiva bars can be up to 4.00. I can't believe 9.99 for a chocolate bar! read more

So can't be in SoCal and NOT visit Candified. First of all, it's on 2nd St in Belmont Shore, so there is something for everyone...BUT even if Candified was all you were going for, it's worth it! Filled with STUNNING candy art, wonderful employees and TONS of candy from nostalgic to European to modern day, there are options for everyone! Don't miss out on the amazing candy crafting experiences! The options change and evolve regularly but my kids have made candy pizzas and candy sushi. There are slime options and accessory items (think hand painted bucket hats) available as well. If you are looking for something to keep you busy that is new and exciting, or an EPIC birthday party, CANDIFIED is THE place. read more

We'd never been there before, but my wife decided to buy us each (my 3-year-old, herself and me) an activity making candy. And it was a blast! The store is quite fun to look around. My kid loved the candy animals (which will change every now and then, we were told). Service was fantastic. From the warm welcome of the staff, to setting up our activity in the tables by the back, to explaining our choices of activity we wanted, it was all extremely friendly and professional. My wife and I had a blast (for a while!) making our cookie-candy geodes. And my son loved making slime with Kathryn's help (she was amazing with him!!) And for $29 each, it was absolutely worth it - for adults and kid. And Jackie, the Candy Queen, is fantastic! Attentive to both us adults and our kid, she was an absolute pleasure to chat with, and it's amazing to see her passion and devotion to the store and the art. I'll definitely be back, even if by myself. read more
