Front entry is beautiful and special. Past that, it feels like an inexpensive accessory store at Cerritos mall. I grabbed a bag for bulk candy to take to the movies. They have a decent selection but again, it's on the cheap side. My favorite German berries were the copy cat version so I passed. The "milk duds" were terrible! I would change the name immediately. So not milk duds. I think their target customer is a child who doesn't know what I know. Kids probably love it. I have more experience and prefer the candy shop at 2nd & PCH. read more

At 55 years old nothing transports me back to my childhood more than nostalgic candy. My husband and I came down to second Street after church to enjoy brunch and take a walk. We stumbled upon this store, and I walked in with the hopes of finding candy from my youth and they did not disappoint. I stood and stared as each one brought back memories of a simpler place and time growing up in the 70s. Thank you Candified for the smile on my face and I can't wait to bring back my nieces and nephews to try the slime creation Station! Don't laugh, but I'll probably join in as well! read more

This "candy store" is like no other, not even anything at Disney can touch this place when it comes to the love of candy and the thrill of experiencing the creation stations with my little one. We are already talking about hosting her next birthday party there. Definitely the new jewel of Belmont Shore, so excited to have Candified in our neighborhood! A few weeks ago I saw Candified on FB and I couldn't wait to Friday payday to take my kids!!! I screenshot the post and sent it to my hubby!!! This place is great. For only $29, your child is given a large sugar cookie with 2 colors of icing and a good handful of assorted gummy candies. This is what they make their "pizza" with. If you wanna find all the old skool candies from the 80's, they got that too. And a whole wall with dozens and dozens of the assorted chewy gummies. Ya like salt water taffy? They gotta whole wall full of them too. The owner and the employees there really make you feel welcomed. And the owner? Makes you feel like family. Such a warm and inviting shop. Your go to shop for candy. read more

Such a cute candy shop! So many childhood memories walking through here seeing the old school candy! Came for the slime making and didn't disappoint. $29 gets you two different slimes with assistance from their staff which were super friendly and patient. WOW I saw pictures and could not wait to experience this place myself with my kids! Pictures don't even justify how magical this Candy Store is! It's unreal... like nothing I've ever seen before!! Something right out of the movies!Jackie and staff were so full of energy, and super helpful! My kids were dancing and loving the whole vibe! There are so many candy options... they took their time trying to decide but they wanted everything! I can't blame them so did I! We will definitely be back! I lived in the area when Powell's was on Second Street. So, when I heard about Candified opening up, I wanted to stop in when I was back in town. I stopped in on 7/26 during the late afternoon. After a mom and her two kids left the store, I was the only one in there. Unfortunately, nobody greeted me. So, I wandered around the store. Saw the tables in the back where I assume they have the "creation stations". There was a young lady at one of the tables on a laptop. So, I assumed she worked there. However, she did not acknowledge me. I would think that someone would want to talk up the creation stations and let you know what they are all about. I walked around a little more before leaving, but still not one employee acknowledged I was there even though I was the only customer in the store. I was a little shocked when I saw the bulk candy was $14.99 a pound. A lot of the candy is stuff you can buy in the grocery story; gummies, etc. They are just in different shapes. Nothing really stood out to me. Also, as a vegan, I was disappointed that there were no vegan options I could see. Maybe if someone had offered some assistance, I would have asked. read more

The Candified team was great at keeping them engaged and rolling on their project and the vibe was on point! They even took pictures so the adults could be present. I was so excited to walk into the shop! It's bright and colorful and it was like walking into magic. However, I'm sad to say I guess this place only appeals to a certain clientele as I was not greeted like the other folks I noticed walk in after me. Not only that, the folks who walked in right behind me were offered samples. It wasn't a very nice feeling to walk in and explore, and then see other folks treated differently. Maybe this will be a special place for someone else, but not me . read more

Fantastic variety of candy! The staff is amazing and helpful. Fun experience for all ages!!

SO SO impressed with this place! My daughters have been begging to go here and one of them decided that she wanted to go on her birthday today. I totally spaced making a reservation in advance so I messaged them on Instagram and asked if it would be a problem for us to get there when they opened since we had other plans later in the day. They messaged back and said they had a party in the store that morning but they would be happy to accommodate us on a table outside. We showed up and they set up a nice little station for us outside right away. My daughters chose to do the candy sushi and geode cookie creation stations. The tools and supplies that they provided were great and there were many options for the kids to use their imaginations. They had so much fun! The owners husband checked on us multiple times and made sure the kids were having fun. They really seem to care about their customers. We will be going back again soon! read more
