I ordered balloons for my brothers repass the night before, I asked that they be available by 3pm the next day. I got to the store at around 5pm I walked in and the young lady was on the ladder restocking and said oh I'm sorry I forgot about your order. Her and 2 other employees started to blow up the balloons at that time they mentioned they didn't have the color strings to match the balloons I ordered. I said why didn't you mention this yesterday? They all just gave blank stares. Mind you this was for my brothers home going service my moms wishes. One of the ladies was like well we don't have navy blue.. then she's like oh we don't have white either I'm standing there in disbelief. The balloons weren't ready and now you don't have the correct supplies to complete the job? I settled for what they had. As they were blowing the balloons I noticed they were over filling them I asked for them not to do that but they just stared at me. As a result of the over filling a few balloons popped in the car. I asked them to bag the balloons it was very windy they acted as if they had no idea what I was talking about. Fast forward I take them to the drop off location I arrive by 6:30pm to set everything up. The service was 3 pm the next day. I get a call while at my brothers funeral that all the balloons were down. They checked the cameras and noticed that around 10pm the night before the balloons started to deflate. I have experience with balloons there's no way they should have deflated that soon. I didn't want to ruin my moms wishes my best friend had to emergency call in a balloon company to try and replace the balloons before the repass. This was by far one of the most stressful events I've experienced. I was so disappointed. I will not be returning and I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else on such a special occasion. read more

After seeing a reel on IG about this place, I convinced my fiancé (quite easily might I add) that we needed to stop here during our weekend getaway to Catalina. It isn't very far from the port so getting there was a breeze. This cute shop sits on the intersection of a Main Street so it cannot be missed. Parking is off the side street or on the Main Street. Once you walk in you are amazed by the huge selection of candies they have here and the best part, they are reasonably priced. They offer a plethora of Mexican candies, decor, party items and more. We got a little carried away with our selections but we didn't break the bank. They sell the candies by the bundles or individual pieces which is nice because there were a few candies that looked good but I wasn't sure if I'd like them so I took the individual pieces to try them out. I am all about supporting small, local businesses and have therefore visited this location 3x. But the more I stop by, the less I see myself returning. This place is in essence a party shop that primarily stocks candy and balloons. They have balloons of all designs and several brands as well as a large variety of candy available (hence the two stars). It's been fully stocked every time I have visited and that warranted the second star. But the quality of work and customer service is poor, almost none existent, and a huge dealbreaker. A young man assisted me this last time with a balloon arrangement. He seem annoyed and bothered by the questions I had in terms of pricing (since most items behind the counter do not list them) and availability. His answers were short and not very welcoming. He kept asking me to wait to answer several phone calls despite there being two other staff members present and available. In terms of the balloon arrangement, he basically inflated, added string, and handed them to me. Didn't tie them, didn't secure them in any way, and DIDN'T ARRANGE THE BALLOONS. You'd think you get what you pay for, but nope not here. Wrigley is a tight-knit community that loves to support local businesses and the fact that this establishment does not reflect any sense of appreciation is beyond me. Unfortunately, I'll be taking my business elsewhere in the future. read more

They have, unfortunately, never had the matching color/size assortment of balloons needed to create a garland. I accidentally purchased balloons in the wrong color, so I was issued an in-store credit which brought me back to the store for what will be my last visit. They, again, didn't have the balloon assortment needed for my garland, so I decided to shop for candy instead. I was followed around the store and stalked like I was going to steal something, then treated rudely at the counter for check out when I presented the in-store credit. It's unfortunate that shop owners are in a position that they feel the need to follow customer around, but they also have to realize that it doesn't feel great as customer to be treated this way. read more
