Serves it purpose. Children have a variety of slides, some swings, a ball pit, and some mechanical rides to explore. Staff was amicable and courteous. There's a snack bar inside the grounds where you can purchase a variety of snacks or drinks. Can't fully rave about this place since I'm not the biggest fan of indoor playgrounds but all in all I'd say the kids had a great time.

We arrived at opening time, which is 10am. I went on a Thursday and my daughter and I had the place to ourselves for about an hour and she loved it! It started getting busy close to 12pm. It's clean and well kept. The staff are nice. Definitely recommend coming if you want to kill time at the mall!

We have visited this Candyland location for a few times now. Although today it was super crowded! I guess the kids are not too crazy about the Oscars!! The staff members were light blue T-shirts with Candyland printed on them so they're easy to spot. There is a snack bar so you are able to buy snacks and drinks once you're inside. You do have to take your shoes off and if you're going to participate with your kids, then you should have the socks that have the rubber bottom so that you do not slip and fall. You pay by the time that you want to stay into the playground area. They do give you a sticker that you have to wear to designate what time your session ends. It is noisy so if you came here to do any kind of work or steady, I would avoid the weekends. It's located inside the Stonewood shopping center .

This is probably the cleanest play area place I have ever taken my kids to. You see staff constantly cleaning, vacuuming, watching the kiddos, they are everywhere! They ensure only kids under 5 go in to the 5 and under play area, which is a big thing for those of us with smaller kids. It gives you a truly safe space for the youngest ones. Plenty of seating, bathroom are so clean and they provide slippers for bathroom visits. They have a diaper changing table with a diaper bin. Lots of snacks and coffee options to choose from. TV was on and we were able to watch a World Cup game! I celebrated one of my kids' birthdays here about two years ago and the service was awesome! The only thing I disliked and why I opted to celebrate the next couple of birthdays at other places like Sky Zone ( which isn't as clean or safe for the little ones) is that your guest count includes both children and adults. At Sky Zone for example, they only count the "jumpers" towards the guest count. I didn't have to include their parents that basically just sit there in a room while their kids are off playing. When we celebrated my daughter's bday, I ended up paying extra for a few adults that decided to show up and most of my adult guests were just sitting in the party room the entire time waiting for their kids to finish their play time. I didn't like having to limit the kid count, kids who would actually enjoy the play time and have fun with my kids. But after paying an additional $100 for 5 extra people, on top of what I had already paid for the birthday package, I just didn't want to spend any more. That is literally my only "complaint". We love this place, the service, the staff, and we continue going every chance we get.

Easy five star review. Some stand out things I liked: the second floor of the main play structure is tall enough for an adult to stand up! This means I can chase my kids or play with them without having to crawl or bend over for an extended period of time. It's so nice. The second thing I really like is you can see the main play area AND the toddler area from each side. This is really great if you have kids of different ages and need to keep eyes on both. I also appreciate that they enforce the rules, like no kids over five in the toddler area, no going up slides, no outside food. This makes it easy on parents because other kids are not doing the things you're telling your kid they can't do. Enforced fairness can be good sometimes, lol. Those employees have a tough job keeping that place orderly and clean with all the kids and crumbs, and they do a great job!

I just want to point out that the stuff is beyond amazing. I decided to take my kids today, 2 & 4 years old. I was really upset because of a Dad and his little girl, must have been 7, 8 years old we're in the toddler area. The girl had an accident inside the ball pit and I overheard the Dad scolding her for peeing, but didn't inform anybody that she even had an accident. My son was in the ball pit when this happened, and I noticed that there were wet footprints on the floor and on the edge of the pit. I grabbed the spray that they had and sprayed the area down, not thinking anything of it. One of the staff noticed that I did that and right away brought towels and sprays to clean the area and another staff member came over and asked me to take my son out because they were spraying chemicals in the pit area to sanitize. When I took him out, he was completely covered in pee all over the back of his shirt & shorts. My son wears diapers so I know it wasn't him. I was really upset, and I told the staff, I went to go talk to the manager about it, and they fully refunded me for the time that I was there. My kids were upset cause we had to leave early, we were 35- 40 minutes in & the guy in the front gave them lollipops, with my approval, to help me calm them. The staff there is amazing and on it about Cleaning and sanitizing everything. They shut the whole toddler section down just so they can sanitize the entire area. As far as that, Dad, it's extremely disgusting that he tried leaving without saying anything to anybody. Accidents happen that I understand but keeping it to yourself and then trying to leave without informing staff is beyond me.

So I just received the most amazing customer service. One of the workers had already caught my eye when I seen how caring and thoughtful she was towards the other kids. I had no idea she would be so helpful to me, but the experience I received was so great it made me go renew my son's pass. My friend and I brought our sons to come and play, but they lost an item and we had asked a staff member and they kind of brushed us off but when we approached Samantha, she was very professional and helpful. She didn't make us feel like the other staff member did like "hey we already took your entrance fee. Now you don't matter" The professionalism and her demeanor with the children was excellent. Thank you, Samantha wherever you are you changed my overview on this place it was nice to see a staff member who showed concern and professionalism towards the children and the parents as well...Good job having Samantha on the team Candeeland -Downey

A cool alternative for kids to enjoy themselves when it's too hot outside Candeeland is situated inside Stonewood Center in Downey. It's not that big but it's definitely a good area for kids to let loose and have fun. The right side is like the main play area for older children and there's "Littleland" on the left, which is more situated for toddlers. There's hand sanitizer bottles everywhere, so it easy to stay clean here. And for parents, there are seats between the two playgrounds so they can watch their children The cost of admission for a child includes entry for an adult, too. HOWEVER! Each adult and child must wear grip socks inside. If you don't have any, they'll make you buy some for $3 read more

It's pretty big but gets super busy on weekends. The monthly membership is per location only, and maximum is 2 hours if you don't have a membership They have arcade games and massage chairs for extra cost. Unfortunately, they don't allow outside food or drinks. No in and out privileges as well. read more

Been to Riverside location which feels cleaner and well air conditioned compared to this one. However, I found the staff here more engaged as they actually are watching the kids and adults here which I completely appreciate. I do think for safety reasons they can give everyone a sticker badge and ensure it is worn. I saw a lot of people without one and no one checks to ensure the families have the right children when you leave which a standard practice for these types of places serving young children. Overall my daughter enjoyed herself and there was plenty of seating which was a great plus . A huge plus is the price - can't beat it! read more

Best location right in the mall. Lots of activities nearby for parents and for lunch break. But the snack bar is also very reasonably priced. The $55 monthly pass is a no brainer for Downey locals. Unlimited visits for the entire month! What a Godsend. This place is clean. The bathroom is clean and there are slippers to use in the bathrooms as well. The staff are on it and they are nice. Out of kids cafes they seem to be the most trained for customer service. They are off their phones and attentive. They are strict with the 5 year old and under sections to keep the little ones safe. Very good experience and would definitely recommend. Reminds me a lot of how Korea runs their kids cafe. read more

I found this place on Groupon and my two year old had such a great time. The facility and restrooms are clean. The workers are always aware of what's going on and they have a nice snack bar with lots of options. Note: Adults must bring socks and children must have grip socks or you can purchase any for $3 each. read more

This place is perfect for little ones. EXTREMELY clean too!! The staff up there deserve all the applause. There's hand sanitizer throughout the place and enforced rules when it comes to shoes . Everyone inside the actual play area had on socks (including staff). I do like the fact that they do not require parents to wear the rubber grip socks. They also have a nice variety of snacks to purchase. Im assuming it was the owner that I was observing at the snack counter but she was very observant and patient. Several times I saw her intervene with parents and their kids , at the perfect time - whether it was offering a cup or opening a package for a kid, she was very helpful. This place is worth every penny. We'll be back again . My only issue is other kids behaving badly lol. read more

I decided to take my 4 yr old and 6 yr old to this indoor playground today. I was pleasantly surprised with the place , and my kids had a blast. The place is very well kept and modern with lots of different activities for the kiddos from slides to climbing and even a smaller area for the toddlers. I highly recommended this place and it's actually pretty affordable as well $20 for 2 hrs per kid and 1st adult free!. Parking is accessible it's located inside the mall. It's really spacious and truly appreciate all the seating available for the adults ( a lot of indoor playgrounds lack this)!. The staff is constantly walking around cleaning and sanitizing. They are very attentive and friendly. I especially wanted to give a shout out to the young lady who was working on the floor she was very attentive and kind noticed my toddler was having a tantrum over not getting the toy out of the claw machines. She really went above and beyond and showed compassion towards my toddler in distress. 10 out of 10 for our visit ! read more

Clean environment and age appropriate. Playground has two sections for the younger kids ages 1-5 and the other side is targeting older kids. Has multiple slides , and obstacle courses for your child to climb and go by. Snack bar and area is maintained cleaned. They even have charging stations for your electronics !! Big plus , they have plenty of staff supervision making the environment a safe place for the children. read more

Great place to play for kids. It would be better If the under age play place wasn't separated. My kids are 6 and 3yrs old. They wanted to play together at the toddler playground where ball pit ball area. But employee never allowed to enter my 6yrs old. Understand safety for toddler and baby. First time here with my toddler, place was nice and clean and did not have the nasty feet scent as other places. My kid had a good time, only reason I gave them four stars is because I didn't really like paying $3 to get in if I already paid $20 for my kid plus $3 non slip sox, call me cheap or whatever but I don't think its necessary, anyhow I will be back again. read more

This place is awesome. Found this place on Groupon, great deal. Kids enjoyed it. Lots to do. Parents can also go up on the slides and mazes, etc. 2 play areas 1 for baby's 5yrs and under and other for older kids. There is a swing made of lollipops, ball pits, climbing toys, and a little kitchen. They sell snacks and drinks. The staff was friendly, and they were constantly cleaning and wiping down areas. Kids had a great time and were wiped out. We will definitely be back. read more

I rarely write reviews, but my recent experience at this establishment was so disappointing that I felt compelled to share. I booked a 2-hour session for my two sons, aged 3 and 7. Just 15 minutes after arriving, we encountered an unpleasant situation. An employee approached my 7 year old with a mean attitude because he was in the infant ball pit. Although I promptly told my son to step out to comply with the policy, the employee continued to provoke him, causing him to cry. I then went to speak with the manager, an Asian gentleman ‼ at the front counter, hoping to address the issue. Unfortunately, he was rude and unprofessional. I requested a refund after being there for only 15 minutes due to the negative experience, but my request was denied. Overall, the staff's lack of courtesy and the poor handling of the situation made the visit extremely unwelcoming. This place clearly needs to improve its customer service, especially when dealing with minors. I would not recommend this place at all read more

Really enjoy this place, staff is friendly. Unfortunately I have to give them a two star my son has gotten horribly sick both times. The first time he got an eye infection but I felt bad it was from this visit. We tried again after a couple of months washing our hands as we played and we have had two straight weeks of ER visits bc of a viral infection he caught called roseola. He doesn't go to day care and we don't have any family who are sick and the day we went there were kids running around with boogers. I know this is a kids place and it's bound to happened but more procedures should be taken like taking kids temps or 15 min sanitizing intervals. Other than that great place. This place is simply awesome. We've been to a bunch of play spaces, and the friendly staff at this place goes well above and beyond everyone else in helpful attentiveness and keeping the place clean and well disinfected. I'm a little annoyed they require grip socks, as they seem unnecessary for the attractions that they have, but this is rather minor. The attractions are also well designed, and we particularly liked the "obstacle course" area that had a variety of ways to get from one side to another, like a zip line, swings, tree-like poles, etc. It is also much larger than you might expect for a place in a mall, and we all had hours of fun and will definitely be returning! read more

This is our main go to for parties/birthdays and is fun with the kids. Parking is easy, the place is well kept and maintained and you're able to see the layout for the most parts unless the kids go on the backside of the apparatus. Since I still have small ones, I still follow them around and the set up is tall enough for grown ups. The other location is about smaller and going around is dreadful. Super cute place and very clean! There's a lot of interactive play areas good for kids of all ages, the staff is really nice too. It is so clean, socks only used inside, and there's even areas where parents can sit and watch their little ones. Good prices for the play time as well, definitely worth checking it out! read more

No other place I rather go to than here. It's perfect because they have sperate areas for kids of different ages so the babies don't get pushed around and get hurt. Parking is a hit an miss as it is shared with many businesses. Our bday party was booked weeks in advanced, and when we arrived the previous party was being cleaned up. The reserved party area is in the open which was a bit uncomfortable, they allowed us to bring decorations and the young lady helped us with the set up. Some parents had signed the waivers in advance and when the staff checked they were told they needed to submit them again as they didn't show in their system, creating a delay. Finally, every guest received their bracelet and were sent to get fitted with their harness an instructions were provided. They had 4 ppl helping, but that wasn't enough as they also had other patrons. For a Saturday afternoon this place was understaffed, the employees did as much as they could but could of benefited from some extra hands.

She was understandably disappointed and confused about why she was being excluded. We accepted the rule and decided we would sit together and do crafts while the younger children played. Surprisingly, we were then told she could not even enter the space with us. What I find most frustrating is the lack of practical consideration. The younger children were sold tickets and are not allowed to be left unattended, yet my older child was not permitted to remain with us. The policies seemed to contradict one another and left us in an impossible situation. I completely understand having age based rules and designated toddler play times. My issue is not the policy itself. My issue is that it was never communicated when I specifically called ahead to ask, and there was no effort made to find a reasonable solution once we arrived. The result was a very disappointed child and a family celebration that quickly turned stressful. On principle, I found the experience unsupportive and unnecessarily rigid. I left feeling disappointed by the customer service and the lack of empathy shown in handling what could have been a simple situation.

Overall, this was a really enjoyable visit, and we would definitely come back. It's a great stop if you're heading to Knott's, and with the Museums for All pricing, it's incredibly affordable.
