Yelp Review 2026 #200:…read more Boston is not lacking in good restaurants but what better way to showcase that than to have a bunch of eateries in one food hall!? I appreciate food halls because if you're with people, they can choose wherever and whatever they want to eat. Or if you can't decide what you want to eat, you can just walk around until something catches your attention. High Street Place Food Hall doesn't seem like a big place for a food hall. But it has over 15 food vendors and bars. Some open for breakfast as early as 7am. Some don't open until 11am for lunch. Some stay open until 8pm, 9pm or 10pm. I've been here multiple times while in Boston since my hotel is less than a 10-minute walk away. I've had breakfast here and a late dinner. I've tried multiple vendors like Mother Juice, Noble Castella, and Dive Bar. There are plenty of tables and seats and the space is always clean the times I went. There are seats out on the patio. The restrooms are clean too. There was a DJ when I went at night after a World Cup game. The place was decorated for the World Cup. I loved that.

It was ok but just mid. The taco place- absolutely insane. We ordered a bowl and the rice at the bottom was SO HOT it completely melted the bowl and it collapsed as my daughter tried to eat it. She was horrified that she just injected that many microplastics from a literally melted bowl. Yes, they refunded us for the bowl but it overall an awful dining experience. What a waste of money and I hate how they market this hall like it's AMAZING. We were cheated.

WOOP WOOP Location aside, the spac... you know what? Location NOT aside. It's a bar that caters to a very specific group: employees in said building or residents of the Archstone village that never came to be. And based on the shoulder to shoulder post-5pm crowd, they're fine with that. As a destination though, be wary of short parking. The beer may be cheap (according to my drinking buddies) but well drinks run an average $7. I'd love to return for the fabled nachos, mounds of which passed by with an almost scheduled regularity, assaulting the nose with savory smells of salty fry and the eyes with drippy, melted goop. The space offers nothing. Open, empty, unadorned. Boulders near the main entrance give a "Honey I Shrunk The Kids and lost them in a Zen garden" feel. I joked to Ellen S, "It's like a cafeteria in here." Her reply: "It is a cafeteria." Oh right. Of note and to earlier reviews, women outnumber men 4 to 1. Happy hunting.

I popped in because we were at the park right next door and one of my children was hungry. I ended up getting hummus and pretzel chips, but I looked around at all of the delicious-looking food and wanted to get something for myself (but didn't -- maybe next time!). The day I visited, I saw a burger station, a sandwich station, and a Japanese noodle station. Everyone was lined up at the noodle station ... it must have been good. There was also an antipasto bar, a fresh cookie area, hot coffee and tea (several different kinds) and a large selection of cold beverages (including kombucha). There are a lot of tables and bar seating, both inside and out. The whole area is very inviting and bright, with lots of windows and natural light streaming in. It's a pleasant place to grab breakfast or lunch, or just a quick snack.

I've even popped into the photobooth on a quiet day, which was a fun experience. Today I ordered ahead and found a seat near the back. I went up to the pickup counter a few minutes before the estimated pickup time and watched as people got their orders. A few minutes after my pickup time when the rush died down a little (order status was still pending), I still didn't hear my name or see my strawberry lemonade and bagel sandwich on the counter so I checked in with an employee. I gave them my name and the employee gestured to a hot latte. It obviously wasn't my order so I asked again if there was an order for Deborah and again, the employee rather impatiently insisted that the latte was mine. I had to clarify my name again before they finally took a look at a bagel that had been sitting right in front of them. They didn't even apologize and said something about someone else taking my strawberry lemonade before finally making me my drink. My drink was good but my sandwich was lukewarm. Weird interaction that left a bad taste. I've never had a strong reason to come back to Diesel but I now have a reason to stay away.

My friends and I ordered from different spots. I got a sashimi bowl from Gogo ya! It was good and a nice serving size. The fish was fresh and some good toppings. My husband had their sushi tacos and a roll and really liked them too. I had a cucumber cooler that was way too sweet for my taste. I had to water it down to drink it. Perhaps there was a mistake when it was made because I can't imagine they would it this way otherwise. The place is very clean and nice diversity of options. I think the restaurants could do a better job labelling their menus for diets (vegan, vegetarian, GF, etc). In addition, it was weird that to pick up my food, there wasn't some kind of text system or beeper. You just had to stay around and they would just call up orders. This would be very confusing when the place gets busier and noisier. There was water available at the end of the main bar but it wasn't well marked and I had to go walk around to find it. They should also have some kind of areas with napkins and silverware. So my conclusion is good food but still needs some work for the rest.

You can start your morning with fresh doughnuts and coffee, then choose from everything from burgers and pizza to tacos, seafood, Asian-inspired dishes and more. They have live music at times, plenty of space to hang out, and a great outdoor patio area that's perfect on a nice Boston day. Whether you're grabbing coffee, meeting friends for lunch, having dinner and cocktails, or just looking for a fun place to spend a few hours, there really is something for everyone. Definitely worth checking out while you're in Boston! Be sure to bring in your parking garage ticket for validation!
