There's a little QR code menu where you can order food and drinks directly to your table from one of the restaurants, but you can also grab take out from any where in the market - alcohol included. We tried the white pizza from Hot Box which was sooo good, I've never been disappointed with anything I've gotten there. Next we grabbed a half dozen oysters from Bluefin which were huge and some of the best I've had in a while. We ordered a couple of beers from Variety Bar throughout and were really happy with their selection. Can't wait to visit again and check out some of the shops in addition to all the food/drinks. This spot is such a great place to spend an afternoon, the only downside is that it's popular and can definitely get crowded, but it's totally worth it. Plan ahead and make a reservation and you won't regret it :)

A couple places have some casual indoor seating. While there have been rave reviews about a variety of food and specialty drinks, they seem to be older reviews. Several places are gone, with empty shops taking up space where my food options should be. There is an urban, cosmopolitan, hipster vibe and palate, and a few tried-and-true spots that have stood the test of time. But it is a very small courtyard with extremely difficult-to-find street parking. It is always worth a look when a food hall applies adaptive reuse in such a creative way as in this warehouse/mill district. But these empty storefronts leave much room for improvement. It is worth a visit, but adjust your expectations to a handful of food-truck style options. It is a cool environment to have a drink and a nosh.

I've even popped into the photobooth on a quiet day, which was a fun experience. Today I ordered ahead and found a seat near the back. I went up to the pickup counter a few minutes before the estimated pickup time and watched as people got their orders. A few minutes after my pickup time when the rush died down a little (order status was still pending), I still didn't hear my name or see my strawberry lemonade and bagel sandwich on the counter so I checked in with an employee. I gave them my name and the employee gestured to a hot latte. It obviously wasn't my order so I asked again if there was an order for Deborah and again, the employee rather impatiently insisted that the latte was mine. I had to clarify my name again before they finally took a look at a bagel that had been sitting right in front of them. They didn't even apologize and said something about someone else taking my strawberry lemonade before finally making me my drink. My drink was good but my sandwich was lukewarm. Weird interaction that left a bad taste. I've never had a strong reason to come back to Diesel but I now have a reason to stay away.

I will say I was little surprised and disappointed. This is not at all like City Place in Doral (Miami) where I am from. There it is open air, large, beautiful and full of fun places and great restaurants to eat at. This City Place seems more like an indoor food court with the only restaurants I saw to be blaze pizza and the paragon of great Asian food P.F Chang's (lol). Still this is where I went on some great tours. If your visiting Boston, I would definitely check out the tours Grayline/Beantown has. One great thing besides the tour company at City Place is the life size statue of Edgar Allen Poe. Obviously a small man who cast a long shadow. If your wondering why is there a statue of him in Boston? Well, he was born there. Per the tour guide, it was funded by a limited edition Edgar Allen Poe bobble head... wish I could have known I would have bought it! I love Edgar Allen Poe ever since I read this poem of his in middle school that spoke to me: From childhood's hour I have not been As others were -- I have not seen As others saw -- I could not bring My passions from a common spring -- From the same source I have not taken My sorrow -- I could not awaken My heart to joy at the same tone -- And all I lov'd -- I lov'd alone -- Then -- in my childhood -- in the dawn Of a most stormy life -- was drawn From ev'ry depth of good and ill The mystery which binds me still -- From the torrent, or the fountain -- From the red cliff of the mountain -- From the sun that 'round me roll'd In its autumn tint of gold -- From the lightning in the sky As it pass'd me flying by -- From the thunder, and the storm -- And the cloud that took the form (When the rest of Heaven was blue) Of a demon in my view -- I loved the detail of the statue... the Tell-Tale Heart... the Raven... amazing! The statue was awesome. The tour company was great. The rest...uninspiring.

We tried two drinks, a lunch sandwich, + hash browns: - strawberry matcha latte - iced lychee jasmine tea - lil chic sandwich (maple syrup fried chicken, hash browns, & melted cheese on an English muffin) The English muffin sandwich was room temperature. Chicken patty was room temperature, guessing it is frozen store bought. So, it wasn't very satisfying to eat to be honest. But funny enough, the cajun tater tots were hot lol. (They're separate dishes that they put together in a to-go box) The drinks were decent. Not the best matcha I've had in the city. Jasmine tea taste was apparent so I liked it! It had canned lychee & lychee popping boba. Both drinks had a lot of ice. It normally takes me a while to finish a drink but I was finished with the lychee tea within a few sips. For the price, I don't personally think their drinks + food are worth it. Drinks had wayyy more ice than drink & sandwich was cold, with the exception of the hash browns being hot! Don't think I will be returning any time soon unfortunately. Really a 2.5/5 but the service was good, so I will give it a 3.

Yelp Review 2026 #200:…read more Boston is not lacking in good restaurants but what better way to showcase that than to have a bunch of eateries in one food hall!? I appreciate food halls because if you're with people, they can choose wherever and whatever they want to eat. Or if you can't decide what you want to eat, you can just walk around until something catches your attention. High Street Place Food Hall doesn't seem like a big place for a food hall. But it has over 15 food vendors and bars. Some open for breakfast as early as 7am. Some don't open until 11am for lunch. Some stay open until 8pm, 9pm or 10pm. I've been here multiple times while in Boston since my hotel is less than a 10-minute walk away. I've had breakfast here and a late dinner. I've tried multiple vendors like Mother Juice, Noble Castella, and Dive Bar. There are plenty of tables and seats and the space is always clean the times I went. There are seats out on the patio. The restrooms are clean too. There was a DJ when I went at night after a World Cup game. The place was decorated for the World Cup. I loved that.

The menu was designed for a basic b like me - matcha, a Caesar wrap, a turkey and brie sandwich, hot honey grilled cheese, etc. It actually reminds me a lot of Tatte before it got mega-franchised. I had a bunch of ClassPass credits about to expire and they're now doing food options on the app so I went with the buttermilk chicken wrap and the turkey green goddess sandwich. The wrap was by far the better option, though I had assumed it'd be crispy chicken but we got grilled instead. This boost in health was of course cancelled out by the generous side of house-made potato chips on the side. The turkey green goddess sandwich suffered a tad from a skewed bread to filling ratio. While there was a good amount of meat, avocado, veggies inside, the focaccia was a little unwieldy and too thick and I ended up just eating most of the filling with my bare hands like an animal. I'd swap out the focaccia for sourdough in the future. Bathrooms were clean. Parking can be a struggle during the week but we were able to find a spot nearby on a Sunday afternoon without any issues.
