While the campground is not huge, there are plenty of spots for campers, etc. There is a small store/restaurant on the property, as well as a pool, "bathhouse" with toilets & showers, as well as a meeting/common type room - all in the center of the property. It appears to be well kept & maintained. Of course, the roads & such as not paved, so there are usual issues with dips/holes & mud puddles, but otherwise, it is in good shape.

You can watch as the fisherman cast lines or watch the sunset. The parking lot has only 10 spots, but it wasn't an issue for us. Seems like cars wouldn't stay to long. I would recommend stopping by for a short bit, but due to the water restrictions and therefore ocean **cough cough** restroom restrictions I wouldn't stay long.

On the Sullivan's Island side there is a parking lot with a few historical markers telling visitors the story that Breach Inlet played in the American Revolution; in 1776 that the British could not ford the inlet and take Sullivan's Island on foot, many drowning trying to cross the inlet from what is now IOP to Sullivan's Island. On the IOP side there is a footpath through the brush to get to the inlet and from there you can head left to get the beach at Isle of Palm. Both sides have small parking lots and small beaches that you can fish off of. Swimming the Inlet is illegal, because it is so dangerous and I've witness currents take skiers flying off; only to be saved by life jackets they were wearing. Many people have drowned in this water. But it is a great place to come fish, wade (not swim) in the water, or just hang out on a nice day.
