***The address is actually for the ranger station which is somewhat near the park. The park is on rte 402, it will be on your right when coming from Moncks Corner. It's a good 15 miles from Moncks Corner, almost to Huger.***
Though it's not very big, there's plenty of tables, grills, and even a couple pavilions. There's also a small boat ramp that goes out onto Huger Creek. One of the cool highlights of the park, is the natural spring by the boat ramp. Locals come here day and night, to fill up with drinking water. Water tastes great too! Park is very well maintained and clean, much cleaner than most parks w/n the "citified" areas. We've started night fishing out there and caught a nice 28.5in Channel Catfish on the first night! It's a nice little haul from civilization, but it's great to be out in nature, away from the man made noise, and closer to the frog, bird, and bug serenade. read more
