There was never an issue with the payment process and every time I had a request, the owner far exceeded my expectations. This is an honest business that delivers; the apartment was comfortable, clean and the extra layer of comfort made it feel like home. I had a long stay, but they also offer daily rates. The set up is very simple and you can make reservations online. I 'm planning to rent from them every time I come back to Charleston. This high level of professionalism, comfort, and privacy will be very hard to match by any hotel. I've traveled nonstop with the military the last 15 years, stayed at many hotels all over the world and staying at this apartment in North Charleston was by far the nicest experience I ever had. The best part was that my family joined me and they were extremely happy at this property.

Every time you try to call, you're told the property manager is "in a meeting" and to make matters worse, they don't even have a proper phone system that allows transfers. You're left sitting on one line with no help and no answers. We sent multiple emails to staff and even the owners with no response. The lack of follow-through and communication is beyond frustrating, especially when all we wanted were basic updates on our tenant and lease renewal. The final straw was when they tried to charge us for a lease renewal they never completed -- then claimed they did! Absolutely unacceptable. Dishonest, unreliable, and vindictive because we chose to leave their company. If you value professionalism, integrity, and communication, look elsewhere. Upon move in, my fiancé and I were given ONE key and no mailbox keys. I have asked on 3 different occasions how to get a mailbox key with no reply, but if we pay to have USPS rekey the box, the company charges us a $150 fee. We both already forwarded our mail and have no way to access it. Other issues: 1. There were missing lightbulbs in every. single. room. The entryway, living room, hallway, both bedrooms, both bathrooms, and the laundry room. Again, I get that we are in charge of lightbulbs while living here but this seems a bit ridiculous that none of this was taken care of prior to move in. 2. The company DOES NOT REPLY to emails or follow up. They say they will "send maintenance" but we have yet to see or hear from anyone. Good luck actually reaching someone at their phone number too. 3. As seen in the pictures, half of everything is broken or in very poor condition. Even the pulls on the ceiling fans are broken, so there is no way to turn them off. Most of these things they said would be taken care of, but haven't, and to be honest, I don't anticipate them ever getting fixed at this rate. If you have a choice, based on my experience so far, I would say look elsewhere. The management companies in the Charleston area do not do a good job of taking care of their units nor communicating with the tenants.
