This is the local Canadian Tire store near where I live. The store is quite large (much larger than its compatriot on Fairway Road) and is well stocked, even during big sales. The staff here has always been very helpful and have taken the time to help me find what I am looking for, even if it is many aisles away. One additional plus is the Canadian Tire iPhone App, which allows me to scan a barcode on a product when I am out and about and find out how much it will cost me at Canadian Tire as well as its stock status at the store. i bought a bike with my own money over 250$ and the back tire poped so we took it in for repair got it back the next day and today it POPED AGAIN and the first time i took it in and an employee said to me the spending a 250$ in a bike is not expensive this is a scam i saved up for all that money and its gone to WASTE read more

Great location very huge. Has a great selection of tools, and kitchen appliances. Love the helpful staff. They even have a delivery service for some of the heavier items. Been very satisfied with what I purchased. They seem to have a few things you can't find anywhere else. I highly recommend this location. read more

I hate the service here... From the auto parts centre side... Ugh so frustrating when you have to pay a lot to have your breaks serviced but that doesn't even fix the initial problem and then the rude staff there, especially Nick, who you can even tell just by looking at him that he's gonna take everything that you're about to say and shove it down the drain cuz nothing you say is important and that's how Nick will make you feel. When he works away you can tell he's pissed off and doesn't want anything to do with customers... It's noticeable.. Don't think people don't notice these things. Yeah not approachable or friendly. Basically useless. Sorry not sorry. Better had given me my money back read more

I had a very bad experience with the car repair shop supervisor Mr Sean today evening at the Canadian tire Auto shop in Ottawa Street South Kitchener Ontario . I had given my car to canadian tire auto shop for break pads and rotor inspection after appointment .First I talked to Mr Steve and told him about the problem and also told him that there is a squeaky noise coming from tires when I turn my wheels while turning.He told me that he will talk to the repair tech about this.Mr Steve told me that it will take around 2 hours and he will call me after initial inspection is done. When he called me back after 2 hours he directed me to this very serious gentleman Mr Sean who took me to the shop and asked the repair tech to show me the condition of the beak /rotors and back side one caliper which was damaged .During this time also I told the technician about the squeaky sound and he told me that he also heard it when he drove the car in and it will go away when we change the calipers.So I went back to the front desk to Mr Sean who gave me a quote for 1132 Cdn for replacing the 4 break pads and rotors and also the 2 back side calipers.I agreed and I got back the car after 3 hours.I drove back home and I heard the same squeaky sound and also I found that in the invoice it was written front side caliper replacement with part number instead of rear ones. So on Monday evening 20th August 2018 I again went to the store and met Mr Sean and told him about the noise and the wrong entry in invoice.He told me that nobody told about the noise problem and that the front side caliper was a typing error in the invoice .I dont know if they bought the front side caliper and assembled at the rear. He wanted me to pay 52 dollars to check the noise and he offered me a 50% discount.I told him its not my fault that they forgot to check this. ( 2 days back only I paid 1132 dollars out of which 430 dollars was labour charge for 3 hours.) Finally I had to come out of the shop.I told Mr Sean that your company will loose customers if he behave and talk like this. One more gentle man beside me was also having problem with Mr Sean because he put the wrong size rims on his tire and they were also arguing. Last time when I visited Canadian tire for a flat there was a very nice supervisor there unlike this Mr Sean.I think its high time that he be moved to a different position where in he dont have to interact with customers. I am planning to take my car to a different shop to check why the noise is coming and whether he put the right calipers in at the back. read more

I purchased oil and a new filter for my new truck here on Wednesday, spent over $100.00. started draining my oil only to find the "new" oil filter I was sold was used and put back in the box..... my fault for not checking before I started but I'm now having to have someone drive back to this location to pick up a new filter..... Very disappointed. I will shop at another auto parts store in the future. read more
