The Source - Big selection of unique lamps

    The Source

I had the opportunity to visit the source as my household needed an audio optical cable. What is…read morethat used for? I'm not entirely sure, I was just told the brand and the price and told to go get it. The store has covid precautions set up. There is a sign asking all customers entering the store to use the automatic hand sanitizer dispenser at the front. There are arrows on the ground indicating which ways customers should walk. These were a bit funny though they all seemed to just point into the store with no way to get out. They also have plexiglass set up at the registers to protect their employees. When I walked in an associate was over almost instantly to help. I let her know what I was looking for and she checked with another employee to find it. It was a super quick and easy transaction. The only thing I will note is that it was a little overpriced versus what you can get from Amazon. I haven't been inside The Source in ages and was delighted with how well organized everything was. Gone are the days of the very cluttered Radio Shacks. They had a small console gaming session with some accessories and games. I kind of liked that it was the pared down version with only the most popular titles. They also had a lot of really fun lamps. Yes - lamps. There were smaller Himalayan salt ones, a globe lamp that you can actually draw on and erase, and some utility ones that are also built in desk organizers. A good visit all in all since I accomplished my mission and got some inspiration for desk decorating.

So I waited an hour and then asked the woman who was working if i was eligable for the promo if I buy it for my Kodoo plan to replace my Samsung Galaxy. She looked up my account info and said yes I was, and so I went ahead and bought the phone because that's a great deal! (150,000 points = $150 of groceries at Superstore) I swiped my points card and she said the points should be there in a few days... I noticed a week later that I didn't get my points. No problem, so I called in to inquire and after over 3 weeks of getting call backs from the PC points department, Mobile Shop, and Superstore, I found out I wasn't eligable for the points because it's only for new customers without existing accounts. ... Thats $150 worth of points. Aside from the value I lost, the teller completely lied and told me that I was eligable when I clearly was not. I'm assuming that she did that to meet some sort of quota for the day or to make commission because the promo eligability is so straight forward I don't understand how a full-time employee would not know about it. Some shaddy things going on at that place and completely lost my trust 100%. I can only wonder what else they lie about to get other customers to buy a phone... I wanted to just return the phone and buy a new one at Best Buy because of the lying but because it took 3 weeks for them to get back to me, I couldn't even return it anymore! Isn't it illegal to lie to consumers in order to make sales? I'm shocked a company as reputable as them pulled this.
