Breakfast Croissant

I came here yesterday for the first time because I work nearby and was looking for somewhere good to eat and I stumbled upon this cute cafe. The service is amazing and the owners are so sweet and caring! I came back again today for the breakfast croissant and once again it was amazing! It's nicely melted cheese pairs amazing with the ham and slightly toasted croissant. Tastes very fresh and I am looking forward to trying the rest of their menu. The indoor jazz piano music and the outdoor seating is very relaxing as well. 12/10 recommend and will definitely be coming here whenever I dont pack lunches!

Love this little local gem! My son loves the teriyaki chicken bowl and I love the chicken Caesar spinach wrap! Excellent quality food and service is amazing. We also love the tea selection in the coolers!

Wow! The best sandwich I've had in a long time! This place is a little hard to find, but once you see the water fountains you're in the right place! The inside is a bit small but there is plenty of outside seats. The sandwich I ordered was SO GOOD! It had tons of fresh ingredients and was huge. It was absolutely delicious. The ham I was surprised was excellent, it tasted as if it was cooked for hours. I loved how many fresh vegetables were on it as well. I can't wait to come back to try more of the menu, definitely check this place out!

Customer service was kind and helpful also brought out our food to us that was a plus for us girls and we were a party of 4. The person (man) who took our order was all smiles. Clean place family owned and presentation of food and taste was amazing. Ambience was relaxing pond with turtle and koi fish . Thanks for the welcoming experience we will be back.

Wednesday special: chicken teriyaki bowl

If you work in the Palomar Airport area you know the deli options are pretty endless, almost every business park has at least one of their own yet I return almost exclusively to Campus Cafe for my lunchtime needs. Years ago I worked around the corner so when I found myself working in these parts again I made my way back. Do yourself a favor and sign up for the daily specials email or at least call and ask what they are before you go in because I basically only order off of them. Favorites: chicken teriyaki, turkey focaccia sandwich, chicken curry and today I tried to Korean spicy chicken stew and it did not disappoint either. The staff is all very friendly and will remember you by name once you come around a couple of times. The business park its in has many shaded tables with a pond that is nice to take a step away from your desk and actually enjoy your lunch, which I should really do more often (shes says eating lunch at her desk ;) )

Campus has been my latest lunch/breakfast obsession for the last few weeks! Ever since the first time I ordered the breakfast burrito, I've been back at least twice a week. It's that good! I've also had their chicken pesto caesar wrap and BLT. Both amazing! You can really tell they care about making delicious food (and they really do). Portions - huge, enough for 2 Location - 1 min drive from my office and lovely pond patio to have lunch Customer service - extremely friendly Food - 10/10 Truly nothing bad to say I'm obsessed!!

Spicy bbq pork! 9.75 Thursday Special

Very good lunch spot! What to get: - Carlsbad Classic $7.49. Turkey, sprouts, avocado, mayo, tomato, provolone on toasted squaw. Very filling! - Spicy pork lunch special. Served with rice and an excellent salad. Only available on Thursdays. Tips: - Indoor and outdoor seating available. The outdoor seating has umbrellas and a nice koi pond

Teriyaki combo special

Came here for lunch today because of the reviews. It's down the street from my work. I called in an order, asked for their daily specials and was told today's special was a Teriyaki Combo which includes Teriyaki chicken, 4 pieces California Roll, and a side salad. For less than $9.00. Add a lil Siracha and it was perfect! Their menu looks strictly like a deli sandwich shop, but it seems like their daily special is something Asian with rice.

Southwestern Chicken sandwich

Campus Cafe is not your average suburban office park deli. The place has exceptional food, a really peaceful setting and customer-focused family ownership. On my first visit I had one of the daily specials, the Chicken Curry with chicken (of course!), potatoes, peas and onions. It tasted good but was a bit bland and could have used more seasoning. Still, it was really good. I'd definitely order it again. I tried my buddy's Italian Wedding Soup, which was good but maybe a little salty but tasted good also. My other buddy had the Santa Fe Beef on a really good looking roll. On my most recent visit I ordered the Southwestern Chicken sandwich, which includes a whole green chili (my fave), melted jack cheese and mayo on a toasted onion roll. I could have used some lettuce and tomato but I really enjoyed the sandwich. Yum. And what a beautiful place to eat and relax. The deli is in the back of a really pleasant courtyard with mature landscaping, ample seating and a koi pond. The place feels more like a botanic garden than the middle of an office park. The pleasant whisssshhhhh of the waterfall (seriously, there is a waterfall!) and delicous lunch together offer a short but refreshing vacation from the workday. While waiting for my order, I overheard one of the ladies behind the counter (presumably one of the owners) telling a customer he should really try a sandwich with ham next time because she gets really good ham from a great supplier. I love that the owners take such pride in the quality of their ingredients. Great place, especially for a deli in an office park.

The first time we went, we ordered Cafe de la Olla and La Morena- both with oat milk and I asked them to double check the syrups did not contain dairy. I was told all was good so we enjoyed our lattes and our daughters shared a hibiscus refresher. On our second and third visit we ordered again, La Morena and one other latte. I asked again if the syrups contained any dairy and was told no. We ordered again with oat milk. On the second visit, my husband had stomach problems and I suspect dairy was somehow inadvertently used. On the third visit, I thought it may have been a fluke, my husband getting sick and so we ordered what we had the first time but this time I got sick. So, I'm not sure if there is dairy in the syrup or if they accidentally used cow milk in our lattes. Too bad too, because the flavors were tasty. We also appreciated the donuts from Doughside Donuts. I'm just not sure we will be ordered coffee from here anymore. The entry is really cute and you automatically see the variety of plants. They sell some jewelry and plant/Mexican pastry merchandise. Service was friendly but parking is not so great, especially when they are busy. Street parking only and it can be slim, especially on street sweep days. Cute shop but be weary if staying away from dairy.

Don't even get me started on all the specialty coffees and teas that are amazing and come with art! Fun Fact: "Manna" means an unexpected blessing, especially in a time of need! Atelier Manna was…read morecreated by Michelin-rated Chef Andrew Bachelier and his wife Larah as a creative workshop where food, art, wellness and community all come together. - Located in Leucadia, Atelier Manna is definitely not your typical brunch spot. It feels part restaurant, part art studio, part wellness experiment, and I mean that in the best way. The space is intimate and eclectic, with cookbooks, ceramics, artwork, salvaged materials and little pieces collected from the owners' travels throughout the space. You can tell there was a lot of thought put into making it feel personal rather than overly polished. Parking is do-able across the street by train , or on the street or surrounding neighborhoods. Best time to come when its not busy is W or TH morning! And then there's the food. We started with the Turkish eggs, soft poached eggs sitting over herbed yogurt, chili garlic butter and herbs with toast. The combination of the cool, tangy yogurt with the garlicky, slightly spicy butter was SO good. The toast is basically mandatory because you're going to want to swipe up every last bit of that sauce. P.S. dish comes with two eggs but you can order an extra egg if you have more people. The steak & tortilla was another standout. Snake River Farms zabuton steak with Spanish tortilla, black garlic romesco and Jimmy Nardello peppers. The steak was tender and cooked beautifully, but what really made the dish for me was the black garlic romesco. Rich, savory and slightly sweet, it tied everything together. And then came the torrija, Spanish-style French toast. This is not your basic brunch French toast. It's made with thick-cut sourdough, saffron vanilla, peach leaf oil, stone fruit and whipped labneh. The outside had that delicious caramelized/crispy texture while the inside was soft and custardy. The labneh was also such a good addition because it gave the dish a little tang to balance out the sweetness. Definitely a dish I'd order again. But we can't forget the drinks because Atelier Manna takes their non-alcoholic beverage program VERY seriously. Their "vitality tonics" are basically zero-proof cocktails with a wellness twist, and they are way more interesting than your standard juice or mocktail. I got the Mentawai: coconut, cold-infused green tea, lime leaf, pandan and astragalus, force carbonated. Light, refreshing and slightly tropical with enough acidity to keep it from tasting like straight coconut water. My friend got the Goldenrod, made with clarified cucumber, turmeric, honey and long pepper. Very refreshing and earthy with a little sweetness. Another friend went with the cold brew, which was smooth and fruity with a creamy body. I really appreciated that the drinks weren't just an afterthought. They actually felt like part of the experience. Overall, Atelier Manna is one of those places where you can tell the people behind it genuinely care about the details. The menu is creative without feeling like it's trying too hard, the space is unique and inviting, and the food manages to be indulgent while still incorporating a lot of fresh, thoughtful ingredients. Definitely a brunch spot worth the drive up to Leucadia, especially if you want something a little different from the usual eggs + mimosa situation.

This would be a great place to do shared plates and we'll be back again!

We each got to order a pot of tea, so we decided to order 5 different ones to try out more flavors together. The ones we picked were: -Jasmine orange oolong - Coconut milk green tea - Earl grey lavender - Vanilla cream -Strawberry rose champagne oolong tea My top two favorites were the jasmine orange oolong and the coconut milk green tea. The only flavor that none of us enjoyed was the strawberry rose champagne oolong tea, so when it came time for refills, we switched it to the rouge provence. For the food, there were four finger sandwiches: chicken breast, smoked salmon, cucumbers, and chopped spinach. We all liked the chicken breast one the most, and felt like the cucumbers and chopped spinach could have been combined into one sandwich for a more balanced flavor. For sweets, there was the seasonal scone, fruit tart, macaron, and donut. I loved the scone with the butter and fruit preserves, as well as the fruit tart. The service was polite, but a bit slow and we waited a while before our food arrived. There was only one person who was serving the entire afternoon tea area, so it's understandable that there's a longer wait.
