Which means no showers, no heater, and no hot water during WINTER. So, naturally, we decided to switch companies to Sequoia (wonderful). However, it took multiple phone calls just to cancel the service, then 3 months before they would refund us $640 for which they already pre-charged us but never delivered the propane. And now 4 months and 20+ phone calls later their ugly rusted tank is still taking up space on our beautiful property. Twice they have been scheduled to pick up however the tank is still there. I spoke with a "manager" who was not able to confirm when they could pick up the tank in the future nor could she even reschedule me a new date. 4 MONTHS later and there is still no estimated date for removal. Just about the worst customer and technical service I have ever experienced from a company.

I get a drink out of the cooler and order a burrito at the register. The employee tells me all the burritos are for the firemen and the kitchen is closed. How about putting up a sign saying the kitchen is closed? And how about serving your customers that will be there after the firemen leave. I think it is great that they feed the firemen but.... Obviously a money grab and to hell with the local customers. I won't be back!

Every driver, installation and repair person I've dealt with has been personable and professional, the kind of service you get from a small-town outfit that still feels like a local business. I've just had a new propane range installed, and Thomas Gamble did a terrific job. He rescheduled the job with no hassle when the original date didn't work out. He was helpful and friendly and clearly knew his job. He devised a way to extend my gas line that was much quicker and simpler than I had anticipated. I've had the same experience with drivers Butch and now Maurine and others in the company I've dealt with. This company and their employees are genuinely into service, a thing that seems more rare today than it used to.

This time, I was in the restroom when he arrived. He stated he arrived at 9:25am, as you can see in the attached photos. I made the attempt to call him immediately after hearing him ring the doorbell, so he would be aware of me being in the restroom. I even got notified on my ring camera if him leaving a minute later at 9:26am, as shown in the picture. I tried flagging him down, yelling his name, and calling him as he started his truck and took off. Very frustrating and unprofessional. I never had issues with the last representative that delivered, but with Charlie, it has been miserable. Because of this, I have canceled services and went with another gas company that is going to service for 2.47 per gallon. So in a way, this is also saving me more. Win win. Bye-bye blue star.

One year they put a meter on my tank that reports levels back to the office, how convienent is that. Adam calls me when I get down to 20%, how thoughtful. You could say they do these things just to sell more fuel, until you run out and you have to take a cold shower. Over the years I've seen Blue Star Gas get better and better and I'm a fan. In life or business, you're either getting better or getting worse. Over 3 decades Blue Star Gas has done just that. I bake them cookies because I admire how they service the Mount Shasta residents.

I recently moved interstate and had to rent a truck from them. The plan was that my cousin was…read moregoing to help me by driving my personal vehicle to Medford, and then she would drive it the rest of the way. The week before my move it became apparent that he wasnt going to be able to help me and so I had to add a car trailer to my reservation. The full move was from the Willow Creek area to Tacoma, WA. I called multiple times to arrange the car trailer because they kept telling me they didnt have one available, even going so far as to call the Eureka store to try and make arrangements to get one. I made it very clear to everyone involved that the trailer would be dropped off in Medford. They charged me for the full trip for a car trailer I ordered even though I told them multiple times I was dropping it off in Medford (a difference of around $200). The woman who helped me said she didnt know how to set it up separately. I even asked her to make a separate reservation and she didn't. She also straight up lied to me and said that it could be fixed once I dropped off the truck. Uhaul is refusing to refund me, trying to say that I changed my plans mid-move. This is the worst Uhaul experience I've ever had. I do not recommend the Willow Creek Uhaul unless you have no other choice.
