(*roll/snare) But seriously, during the time my stuff stayed here (when I had to leave things behind during a pandemic move) I NEVER had a problem. My unit was floor level with drive up, super-easy access. All my drop-ins and outs were a breeze including the final, move-out! The few times I suffered financial difficulties they were always patient and worked with me; treated me with respect and a friendly smile. Now, if you've dealt with as many self-storage, employees as I have you'd agree that this is rare. I don't have a unit here right now but, if I have the need for the future, I would not hesitate to trust them again to safeguard my stuff.

He is an awesome human being and manager. He always returns calls and is helpful regarding our changes, as we work on downsizing. We have always at all times had excellent customer service from Nate. We noticed a poor review and the only thing we could think of was there were two management changes since we have been there, but this most recent one is the best ever. And Nate is there to help out always. If we could give 100 stars, we would, but there are only 5 available. We highly recommend Sutter Central Storage in McKinleyville if you are looking for an excellent place to store your things and an intelligent and caring person to manage your experience there.

Great phone service and walk through. Then initial packing day, they didn't know they were packing…read moreso they had to go back to their office site and took an extra 1 hr to show, packed but didn't follow protocol, packed oils and detergents which spilled, broke, and damaged so many items! The employees took longer than intended lunch. When I asked them to not pack certain items, they did anyway. Damaged an iron bed that was in perfect condition because he couldn't figure out how to take it apart. Then moving day, got there late, they were incredibly irritated with items not being more packed even though it was their colleagues that packed. Moved items but damaged walls, scratched floors, and one bled on walls without cleaning said blood. They left items in previous home even though they told to bring it (carpets, boxes). I asked to put floor protectors on items coming in, they didn't. My floor has stains now because of this. I submitted a claim for reimbursement and it took over a month to hear back. Now it's been two months I am still finding issues with their work.

These deceptive scumbags think they're clever with their SQUARE FEET, two-dimensional deceptive advertising and pricing schemes, but all they really do is cause us, the consumer, infinite levels of frustration as we attempt, often unsuccesfully, to determine the exact price per CUBIC feet, and our ACTUAL STORAGE NEEDS. Do better. Just because you have a near monopoly, and a crop of inbred local hicks doesn't mean you have to settle for mediocrity.
