I wasn't even going to complain, but the lady snapped if I said another word, I'm out in 24 hrs. I couldn't even mention I wasn't complaining or I'd have my stuff on the street, which I wouldn't have been able to deal with as I had no truck available and had to work. Was super weird, creepy and controlling when I wasn't even complaining. This happened several years ago but never stayed right with me. So to see all the 1 stars looks like its their regular practice to harass, and insult their clients.

The facility is very well maintained and clean; we met the owner one day when he was walking around picking up those nails and screws that always seem to fall in parking lots. He was friendly and conscientious. Even though it isn't in Eureka, it's a straight shot down Highway 101 so it was a quick drive. If I needed to rent storage space again, I would definitely use Fields Landing.

They tell me there was damage to the driver's side mirror. I told them the checked the truck thoroughly the day before no complaints. But suddenly they found something the next day. My unit was floor level with drive up, super-easy access. All my drop-ins and outs were a breeze including the final, move-out! The few times I suffered financial difficulties they were always patient and worked with me; treated me with respect and a friendly smile. Now, if you've dealt with as many self-storage, employees as I have you'd agree that this is rare. I don't have a unit here right now but, if I have the need for the future, I would not hesitate to trust them again to safeguard my stuff.

We noticed a poor review and the only thing we could think of was there were two management changes since we have been there, but this most recent one is the best ever. And Nate is there to help out always. If we could give 100 stars, we would, but there are only 5 available.
