Super clean & safe gated facility...They are a little bit pricier but affordable for what youre getting! The gals in the office are super friendly and really knowledgeable about account info. If a mistake is made, they call immediately to alert/remedy the situation. I like how my payments are debited monthly and a receipt sent to my email. I would have given 5 stars but gave 4 because the inside unit lights dont always work, they have no bathroom facility available on Sundays and more importantly, their motion sensor lights outside the building don't always work leaving night time visiting kinda creepy and not feeling too safe. Otherwise this place is perfect!

(*roll/snare) But seriously, during the time my stuff stayed here (when I had to leave things behind during a pandemic move) I NEVER had a problem. My unit was floor level with drive up, super-easy access. All my drop-ins and outs were a breeze including the final, move-out! The few times I suffered financial difficulties they were always patient and worked with me; treated me with respect and a friendly smile. Now, if you've dealt with as many self-storage, employees as I have you'd agree that this is rare. I don't have a unit here right now but, if I have the need for the future, I would not hesitate to trust them again to safeguard my stuff.

He is an awesome human being and manager. He always returns calls and is helpful regarding our changes, as we work on downsizing. We have always at all times had excellent customer service from Nate. We noticed a poor review and the only thing we could think of was there were two management changes since we have been there, but this most recent one is the best ever. And Nate is there to help out always. If we could give 100 stars, we would, but there are only 5 available. We highly recommend Sutter Central Storage in McKinleyville if you are looking for an excellent place to store your things and an intelligent and caring person to manage your experience there.
