He sounded very sketchy. Either this company is operating illegally or their service rep doesn't know what he's talking about. Either way-Not Good. We had a cold spap weather this week and when I called four heating companies none could come out for service for three days more I reached California Heating at 4pm and they came out the next morning as promised and within twenty minutes diagnosed why my 40 year old Coleman furnace had stopped working. As it turned out my HOA had hired a plumber to replace my gas meter which meant they had to turn off the gas without telling me which meant there was no gas for the pilot light. California Heating cleaned the furnace relit the pilot light. The total charge was $135 the cost of a service call. Great job One of my best friends used them twice once for a complete new furnace for his home and another for a wall unit on a rental property.

Removed an old ugly exhaust and while the ladders were present, one of those ugly satellite dishes from an era gone by! Mark had a great crew working this challenging project on a high pitch roof. They worked SAFE and swift and got the job done in an orderly fashion. Nice cleanup after. At first it seemed like they were doing a great job. All of the guys were friendly and seemed professional. They completed our roof and were coming back the next day to clean up the mess that was left in the yard. It rained overnight and I woke up to water coming in our bathroom heating vent. There was a huge water stain on the ceiling of our bedroom as well. They also used long nails which came through the ceiling of our front porch. They did come and snip off the nails so that was better. Mark wasn't super pleasant to work with after this point and would only take $200 off of the price because that is what it would cost to paint the ceiling, which was popcorn so just painting over it didn't seem like a great idea. They had to set up fans in the attic to help it dry out. Fast forward 6 years to last week. We had a great deal of rain, and I arrived home from work to find water dripping from our kitchen light fixture. We looked at the contract and realized there was only a five-year warranty. We should have been more cautious and gone with someone with a better warranty. Well, we had to climb up on the roof and found that the 'tar' around the exhaust fan pipe had shriveled and cracked. We were able to purchase some stuff at ACE and repair it ourselves. I do not recommend this company. We wish we had used someone more established.
