The representative, Kelly, was unhelpful and made it feel like my question was an inconvenience. As a new RV owner, I was just trying to get what I needed, and the experience was frustrating and unprofessional. I ended up going elsewhere and got help right away Royal Coach has been amazing and made the whole process easy and welcoming. The difference in customer service was night and day. We are having huge issues with getting a new camera system installed in our 2018 Hurricane. The cameras have been installed but the monitor has been on the floorboard for 6 weeks without being touched. Tammie is a great service writer so I am unsure why nothing has been done. Tried to contact their service department 3 separate times to try to schedule a time to get my roof repaired and gave up. When I initially contacted their front office I asked for an estimate of what it would cost for an assessment, instead of them telling me their hourly work rates or having some type of assessment quote the lady snidely responded "it depends what's wrong with it". Honestly glad they didn't return my calls after this experience and reading the other reviews. Plenty of RV repair shops in town, couldn't care less if camping world went under, all this place is good for I can order online for cheaper. read more

Came in to look for our new fifth wheel. We've narrowed down what we want. Apparently, at this place you need a babysitter to walk you around. We live in AG, and the dealerships all around there allow people to look at what they want when they want. Our babysitter wasn't showing up, so we left. As we were leaving, we see who was supposed to walk us around just hanging out. The girl up front said, here he is.. but we were over it. The family and I went to Camping World and ultimately ended up purchasing a travel trailer. From the onset the sales guy, Mike, was polite, helpful, and in no way pushy. The purchase went through smoothly, as expected. We returned to take possession of the trailer a few days later near closing time. During so we needed to purchase a weight distribution hitch. With about a minute remaining before the parts department closed, Reggie helped us out with no complaints and a great attitude. He retrieved the hitch, which is very heavy and loaded into our vehicle extending his time at work for several minutes past closing. Thanks for the help Reggie! You're doing a great job! read more

BUYER BEWARE -- If you're under the guise that buying an RV from what seems to be a reputable dealer is the way to go; make sure you do your homework about their policies and procedures, and bring your own mechanic. If you plan on spending 50% in markups in comparison to Facebook Marketplace because you think your concern will be prioritized, do yourself a favor and find an extended warranty to purchase for 10% of the selling price, and buy from ANYWHERE else. My experience may be one very unique, specific one; but at this point, after working with the company for 6 weeks, including Marcus Lemonis's office directly, it is one to be aware of. The Story: We bought an RV in mid-October. It had been inspected by Camping World and was a 2017 Thor. We believed Camping World to be a reputable company, and Thor to be reliable, and therefore, we proceeded with the purchase. Within 3 days we contacted our Sales Representative Virgil Swarts to inform him of a loss of power issue and hydraulic codes being reported by the dash of the RV. He asked us to call the service department, which we did promptly. They informed us they could not accept the RV until 11/30; to which we replied would not be acceptable due to the cancellation of a trip already, assuming we bought a quality product that met the rigorous inspection required by Camping World before sale. Between contacting the Service Department and Virgil a few times, we were able to get it back into the Service Department within a week of purchase. At this point, we thought the hiccups would be resolved and we could move on. We were planning to move to Kentucky in the RV on December 12, and the issues would definitely be resolved before then right? We just bought the thing. Marcus Lemonis definitely takes more pride in his work than teh average Joe on facebook right? Here we are. Today is December 12. We've had to arrange $6000 of expenses in flights, cars, and hotels. I will have to be with the children on the flight by myself so my husband can drive the dogs in our car. The Service Manager has no expectation of the RV being done today. We've asked multiple channels if they could keep the RV to do a thorough review of it, cancel our contract, and sell it to another family. They've refused. We asked if they would at least ship it since we will be so far away, and as a family of 9, it would be a nightmare for us to send myself or my husband alone to retrieve it and they've refused. They do not stand by their friendliness, service or product. Beware of the canned schpiel they give you. They DO NOT support the buyer after purchase. Again, this was just our experience, but throughout this, we have worked with every aspect of the dealership and service department and have not had a good experience. Just be educated prior to patronizing this place. It's been a nightmare for us. read more

Prices for RV's are very high right now and we were told that they are in high demand due to Covid. This is definitely not the time to buy. Camping world has everything you can imagine for your camping needs. This month they are having Black Friday everyday. You will find new, used and clearance RV's, financing available. The buying process of our Jayco Feather Micro was awesome we were tended to and the sales guy was super friendly. He was easy to deal with and we had found the trailer for us after looking at a few others. Great we bought it and set up our camp ready introduction and again were taken care of. Man why do people rag on Camping world they're nice and friendly. First trip out we have water leaking into the dining area after running the water pump and figured out where it was coming from so towels would do the trick so my wife could take a shower. Great just what we wanted kind of put a damper on our trip after all it was our first outing so we expected some things to come up. Per sales guy these trailers are built fast and come with some issues that can get taken care of through service. Not what someone spending their money on a trailer wants to hear. Not to mention the microwave was never mounted and it almost slid out on our way up the hill. Had it not been for it getting wedged in the opening we would have found it broken on the floor. No big deal right just brand new stuff scratched up to be told by the service manager that it's not covered and it's just aesthetics doesn't affect the functionality of the unit. Yeah , meanwhile I just bought this trailer and paying the payments but a scratch shouldn't bother me. . Just what people want to hear. So now to the leak it was just some loose fitting that never got tightened which I had suspected but didn't feel like I should be wrenching on a new trailer for them to say I did something wrong or used the wrong tool and they wouldn't cover it. So we pick up the trailer great service manager says we found where it was leaking and we took care of it good to go. Here we go 4th of July camping. Get to the site all situated and whatnot wife has to shower that evening and water pump gets turned on so far, so good until..... where's that water coming from? Now in the opposite direction water is going into front storage compartment WTF? We just picked it up from having a leak fixed. After the trip immediately call as soon as I get back to service setup to drop it off. Get a call Saturday 7/22 it's ready to be picked up. Great what's the diagnosis on the leak oh our technician stated it was right where you said on the backside of the fitting they had fixed before. There was a fitting close to that one that didn't allow the proper tightening of the other fitting (what in the actual f*** b/s excuse is that)? Great I'm glad your people don't double check their work. So ok take the trailer home back it in all that good stuff. Happy trailer is back when's our next trip? Go open it up glass shards everywhere all over the floor and counter look up to see the face of the microwave is no longer there. Great could it be the possibility of those scratches left from when it got banged around from not being properly secured? According to service it happens quite a bit from the forklift moving the trailer around in the shop I must have dumb*ss tattooed on my forehead. Anyhow that's my rant and I don't recommend you buying your trailer here unless your going somewhere else to get it serviced and warranty work done read more

This place is a real joke. Service department / Warranty department, even the sales team. It's been a nightmare since day 1, trusting these guys was the worst mistake I've made. It took over 8 months to get a refrigerator that was promised on the day of pick up. Now I'm dealing with a panel issue that happened before I picked up the trailer, it's a warranty item that was ordered a year and a half ago . Come to find out the order was never fulfilled and the process has to start all over again. Of course they give you the run around every single time, now they don't even answer the phone when I call. We came to this Camping World location to look at a Lance trailer that was on their lot and were shown around by Steve Taylor. After showing us the Lance we didn't like it as much as we had anticipated so Steve took the time to ask us what we were looking for and how we like to camp and then he proceeded to show us a trailer that we really liked but wished was just a little bit bigger with a different layout so we decided not to purchase but to wait and see what they get in. Steve was knowledgeable, professional, patient and kind throughout our visit. We really appreciated that Steve did not try to pressure us into purchasing something that wasn't a perfect fit. Called today to make sure they were open because it's a "holiday ". They said they were so I went in to do some shopping for things I needed for my RV. Well they should have been closed. They had to one to help. No customer service just a lady taking money at the register. No one to ask questions, to do propane, nothing. I wish there was another place in town to shop for RV supplies. We already own an RV, but decided to browse newer models during one of our visits to CW on a very warm summer day. The salesman drove us around on the golf cart. He showed us numerous makes and models. He was friendly and knowledgeable, but as soon as we told him that we were not in the market to buy, he literally abandoned us at the back of the lot. No goodbye, no water, no I'll be back in a few. The husband and I thought it was hilarious. It showed the true colors of the salesman. So we slowly made our way back to the inside of the store where it was cool to buy a few items that we needed. The staff at the front desk have always been pleasant and helpful. The ladies at the checkout counters usually seem confused, frustrated, tired, and overwhelmed. I was hesitant to return an item once because I had a feeling it was going to confuse them and sure enough it did. For small items I just buy them online and have them delivered since this location is about an hour away from where we currently reside. I'm sure we will still stop in for some popcorn and to buy necessities for the trailer. After a handful of visits here, we know what to expect as far as service and selection. read more

We bought a class A motorhome and everything was going good then I get a call from the general manager and he let me know someone backed our RV into an obstacle in the service bay. Completely smashed the rear bumper and would only give us a $200 gift card. You know things like this happen but I am very disappointed....they did not want to make this right and apparently they do this a lot! I keep hearing how this business is too expensive. I got the Good Sam club, and with the discounts, they are comparable to other places. What they have in spades over other camping/trailer/RV stores is selection. I go to plenty of places with a small selection and high prices. Camping world has a great selection at various prices to choose from. They also sell Trailers and RVs, and have a decent repair shop too. I am taking my travel trailer in for some much needed TLC and I'll do a rating on the service experience later. IF you need anything for your RV, hit up Camping World. They have a great selection of stuff, and sometimes, it is fun to just walk around the store and peruse the items. read more

They think they are the only game in town so they don't work with you. Plus they also charge this get ready package or something to get extra from you. *Buyer Beware* I'll start by giving credit where credit is due, when we first arrived in the lot they did not have the unit we were looking for, a Keystone Fuzion 369. Two weeks later we were told they were able to redirect the unit we wanted to them from the manufacture. We decided to put down a deposit for $500 but there was a "mistake" and they ran the card for $2,500. Oh and ran 5 hard credit runs, oops! When the unit arrives we go take a look to confirm it was "the one" and subsequently made a deal. This is where things took a turn for the worst. We were scheduled to complete our orientation and take delivery last weekend. 30 minutes before our appointment, we are notified that the ramp door keys did not ship with the unit and one of the garage beds needs to be replaced. Upon our arrival, we were informed by the dealer's sales manager "there has been a incident, a small scuff" with our 100k+ 5th wheel. The service department struck an awning pillar. They assured us they can repair the fiberglass cap but the best can can do to make this right was a $200 shopping spree. Understandably we decided to not move forward with that unit or Camping World. I wouldn't put it past them to try to sell this not so new unit at full price even though it has a collision under its belt. read more

They had what I wanted so I took the Trailer, but did not get weight distribution hitch which we asked for to be added in the loan. I felt rushed from both the seller and the finance guy, I felt I was expected to know everything in 30 seconds. I would have given it a five star if the financial representative would have had some patience, the whole phone call made me have second thoughts getting the trailer from them. It is now the 12th of July and we still have not been paid for our trailer and NOBODY at the dealership will give us an update or even return our call.
