I know the original owner Matt. Very hard to deal and I stopped going. I did buy a gooseneck container trailer in '2007 from Matt. The trailer is a beast very good trailer. Last year I found out that Matt is not the owner anymore, I decided to return, and the quality of repair has gone down. I took my trailer to get repaired electrical problem brakes not grabbing. I was told that my trailer was ready. My driver goes to pick up and brakes still not working. They repaired them on the spot. I told myself ok I'm a business owner these things happen. I took my second gooseneck container trailer rear lights not working I was told that my trailer was ready my driver goes to pick up and trailer not ready. My driver stood by for a couple of hours until they fix the trailer. I told myself this is not good twice I paid my driver few hours for waiting. I didn't learn my lesson I went back a third time brakes not grabbing on my dump trailer. I explained that I just bought this trailer, and I needed an inspection to make sure I was legal. A new hydraulic brake actuator installed, new hydraulic brake lines and electrical repaired and when I had problems with electrical a few days later I am told to drop it off that they would get to it in a few days. To make a long story short Matt was hard to deal with and one thing is for sure about Matt he cared about his business I never had these problems, under his watch. Matt would drive around on his golf cart making sure that his business ran efficiently. Never again the problem is the people working there that are not being held accountable and the lack of leadership. read more

I took my (new to me) Fifth wheel trailer into Brock's to have a gooseneck adapter placed onto the kingpin. I could not be more pleased with the service, the interaction, or the result. Juan (Service Manager) was very helpful and made sure I had all the work done I required. Dave the technician was amazing. Seems they had never done an adapter prior to this so the job was new and required innovation. The price was very fair. I cannot emphasize enough that they went overboard to ensure the job was done well, and quickly. Great communication. If you need fifth wheel work I can say I highly recommend Brock's. And. It is under new management that wants to be known as working with their clientele. Because of that many of the reviews about uncomfortable and rude personell are no longer applicable. read more

This is a fabrication and repair shop, for trailers from large to small. The work done here is first class. They know their stuff and excellence is their hallmark. Employees and the sometimes gruff owner are polite and very hard working. I have had Brock's do multiple trailer repairs and they get the job done quickly and in the best of workmanlike manner- correctly and made to last. They do emergency repairs for people broken down on the road, I have seen this with my own eyes. The owner will have his employees drop everything to do whatever it takes to help get travelers back on the road. Don't expect them to coddle or spoil you, just be thankful you are going to receive first class repairs at a fair price every time. Brock's is my go to repair shop! read more

The entire staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We were in a bind traveling across country. They stopped what they were working on to completely re-wire my lights and brakes on my trailer and got me back on the road again. I would drive 100 miles just to have them work on my trailer. Do not buy here. First week taillights wiring melted in bumper. Didnt want to fix it inless i brought to Bakersfield 4hr drive with no lights than didnt want to pay bill. Than 3 weeks latter the brakes started melting. Got fixed 2 days latter did it again than 1 week after did it again. He didnt want to take any responsibility at all. The way he treats customers is like your garbage n dont mater everything is a fight he doesn't want to honor his work at all would never go back. If he makes a mistake like he did on my trailer he wont take any blame. He just blames customer. Never buy anything at this place. All they want is your money read more

An excellent place to bring your horse trailers, car carriers, and utility trailers for Eaz lift installation, trailer hitches (e.g. changing from bull-nose to standard trailer hitch they use on their trailers) trailer brake wiring, conversion of standard lighting to LED lights, lubing trailer axle bearings, changing out axles, and general repair. They've done it all for us. Staff seems to go out of their way to work with you on any repairs you might want to do to your trailers. Have been doing business with Brocks Trailers for over 15 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. So glad that they are conveniently located off Highway 58 between Tehachapi and Bakersfield. Hope they stay in business for many more years. They are very accommodating at handling walk-in repairs. read more

We went to see if we could get a trailer custom built for us and when I called the guy on the phone was very rude and impatient asked as if I was inconveniencing him...so I thought maybe he thought I was wasting his time and went to his shop...turns out he is the owner...when we arrived there was a woman at the counter which was full of cats...she also was incredibly rude...stuck on her phone and was also very in diffrent and irritable. ..we ask her to speak to the owner she said she didn't know where he was and sat there...we asked diffrent questions about the buisness such as if they could build custom trailers and if they had examples...she literally said she didn't know to every question with an exasperated attitude we assume she must be the owners wife acting like that which was very similar to him...I mentioned in passing I'm allergic to cats and she just ignored me finally when the owner came out he was very irritable as well before we even said anything about the customizations he told me it would be 9-12k for what I wanted and refused to discuss anything until he had the money...I asked if he was irritated because of having to explain the same thing to over and over again as I could relate in my line of buisness (trying to identify with him hopefully to have a better attitude to work with...he said no he's just tired of people asking him for quotes and who weren't serious or would change their mind later...which is a necessary part of any buisness...running your own buisness is alot of unappreciated work most of the time...but that is no excuse to mistreat the next person before they even mention what they want...anyway we wanted to make sure and ask around and look up reviews on him...EVERYONE had the exact same experience. ..he seems very insecure literally bring up how he's got 30 yrs experience in every sentence and seems to make himself feel better by putting his customers down...very lazy and unwilling to do much and his employees share the same attitude...BEWARE DO YOUR RESEARCH ON THIS BUISNESS!!!!!!!! read more
