We have now stayed there for 2, two week stays and will be going back!…read moreThere's a lot of really good people here, the PNW is well represented, and the Midwest crews are great! Everyone we met were easy to get along with. Rachael and crew do a very good job to take care of the details in the main office. Spots were easy to back our 34' MH into, and folks (neighbors)were helpful in the process! There are things to do in the park, lots of competition in corn-hole and shuffleboard. Lots of car shows nearby, and hiking galore.

Using online check in we thought would make our arrival a breeze. Well, I think it would if they…read morewould give you all the information you needed. You are provided with some and asked to call in prior to your arrival. We tried that only to get a message that the office was closed over the weekend. Our reservations started on the weekend. We did not know there was paperwork to pick up outside the office. We did not know there was a key to pick up for the doggie gate. Our site was pre-assigned about the farthest it could be in the pet area so it was quite a walk getting there to discover a key was required to get through the gate. We did not see any staff over the weekend and saw our only one driving a cart as we were leaving. Reviews comment on how unfriendly people were. We did not find that. We waved, they waved. We talked to a few we saw. It was past main season. It always takes a bit to get to know people no matter where you are. We loved the pool and hot tub. Would have loved shuffleboard but couldn't locate all the necessary equipment.

Honestly, in our 20 years of camping and staying at koa campgrounds I can say that this is the…read moreworst one yet. We requested to be next to the other person in our party months ago when we booked and was told no problem. Instead we were rows apart. Check in host (short blond hair lady) was extremely rude when we brought an issue with our site to her attention. Spots are not level. Be prepared to spend an hour leveling your rig. Other reviews mention this but camp host says they've never had a complaint. Sure buddy. The bathrooms are very outdated and smell like mildew. Playground is very empty and outdated. It had one single bench for parents to sit on. One swing set with 3 swings and a small merry go round. Some major improvements can be done here since this is a family campground. I have never seen a koa without a play structure for the kids. Long term guest leave their dogs in their campers all day barking and management doesn't care. Also stay clear of the middle dryer if you plan on doing laundry. I had to run it three times at $2.25 for a 25 min cycle to dry the small load of laundry I did. Don't try to follow the map posted outside the office as it's wrong. There are basketball hoops and a horseshoe setup but they are in a very poor location- they would be much better up by the playground vs in the back by the dumpster. When we brought our concerns regarding the extremely un level sites and rude workers to koa corporate they brushed it off with the excuse "each koa is individually owned and operated" but yet they carry the koa name and drag it thru the mud. I will not be renewing our KOA membership after this experience and will make it a priority to try to not stay at KOAs after this.
