My iced coffee was good. The coffee I made at home with the Kenyan AA beans was also good. As the cup suggests, Willoughby's is for serious coffee people. She had specifically mentioned their cookie butter latte, which I believe is a special, but was still available at least when I went. Full disclosure, that could change. Their list of signatures though was also extremely impressive and I was almost tempted to go with one them! So the cookie butter biscoff iced latte had a cookie butter base, biscoff around the cup, house made biscoff whip and cookie crumbles. The latte was $9, about the going rate for a 20 ounce. However, they were extremely generous with the amount of toppings they used. Lots of whip and an unprecedented amount of cookie butter on the cup! Wow. All I can say is that I am normally one to wipe/ lick the cup completely bare, and enjoy every drop. I could not in this case with how generous they were with the cookie butter. Not a bad thing, and had they gone lighter, perhaps the overall flavor of the drink would have been negatively impacted. It was delicious... I may even go as far as to say it was the best biscoff latte I've had. That would be saying something, I've had many! It did drink a bit heavier than many other lattes, but again, that's not really a bad thing. Something to keep in mind depending on personal preference/needs. It was a brightly decorated and fun environment. It's not a big space, so probably not ideal for coffee meetings or things like that, but there is seating and again, it's a nice space. Extremely welcoming and more than happy to offer insight and help. It's a definite must try for latte lovers! Will definitely be back.

It's a cozy, whimsy coffee shop with fun photo ops, specialty tea and coffee. It's nearby Quinnipiac and likely serves a younger demographic. I have seen and followed this shop on Instagram since they had opened and was on my list. The service was great, the ladies helping me was so nice. I tried a seasonal special called Nadine's Guava Matcha Latte--a flavor I haven't seen anywhere else. It had guava pure and guava whip which all looked made in house. The matcha was a good flavor too. The drink was too sweet for me and would likely order less sweet next time. I would like to try one of their coffee drinks next time. If you are in the Hamden area, I definitely recommend giving Latte Soul a try.

Quickly hopped over here to order lunch today around 11am or so prior to any potential lunch rush. I ordered a cranberry chicken salad wrap. My order was placed within moments of the cashier realizing I was ready to be helped. The to-go wrap was ready within 5 minutes and it was delicious. The shop space is small, but they really utilize all of the area they have. The shelved were stocked with everything from grab and go prepared foods, local gifts and even cleaning products. You can also place an order online for fast pick up too. In the past, I had stopped here for more of a breakfast vibe, but I feel like lunch may be really their jam. Happy I gave it another chance.

I didn't try any food, but it looked reasonably good. The shop was more functional and comfortable than fancy, but people were there hanging out. They had good foot traffic.
