We found Campbell Quality Construction on Yelp back in 2018. At that time, they did a kitchen renovation for us that involved removing a wall, changing plumbing, some foundation work, and the installation of new light fixtures. Our revised kitchen and great room is really nice. Recently (fall 2022) we used Campbell Quality Construction to remodel our two bathrooms. Again, we're very happy with the results. We really like working with the owner, Semso. he's very attuned to customer satisfaction and does great work at a reasonable price. read more

I have worked with some Semso and his team twice. That says he was good enough to call a second time. The first time was 20 years ago when he remodeled my kitchen, bathroom, and did everything else to an older house to make it ready to move in and a little updated. Just recently I called him back a second time to remodel a very small bathroom. He ended up doing the entire job himself because it was small and it fit into his schedule the best. If anything unusual shows up he explains it and gives options. He is responsible, polite, conscientious, and just very easy to work with. A minor problem happened with this remodel and he quickly came back multiple times to make sure that it was right. He also has the quality which is often hard to find in a contractor, he is responsive. He responses to email promptly. I will definitely be using him again for any size job. Definitely get a bid from him for your next job. read more

Campbell Quality Construction - a bathroom with a sink and toilet - General Contractors Near Me

Semso at Campbell Quality Construction is a rarity in the industry: a general contractor who shows up on time, is organized, reliable, and does good work. We hired Semso to remodel our three bathrooms and over the four months we worked with him, he and his sub-contractors were professional, showed up when they said they would, cleaned up after themselves, had good attention to detail, and were a pleasure to work with. Semso also is very responsive, communicating via phone and text every day, which is something you don't hear about often. I recommend Semso wholeheartedly and without any reservations and look forward to working with him on other construction projects. read more

A friend recommended Semso/this company when i had a leak. He came the next day. I had been thinking about updating my kitchen and one bathroom. They were here the Monday after i signed the contract to start work!!! They are trustworthy dependable and do quality work. I will for sure continue to call Semso for any further work. read more

We used Campbell Quality Construction multiple times over the last 7 years for different projects including the house renovation. Never had any issues. Semso and his team are very professional, responsive, their attention to detail is superb. They do an excellent job every time, and most importantly, the job gets done always on time. Semso is very reliable and we appreciate his quick response and customer orientation despite his busy work schedule. We are always satisfied with the outcome of our projects and highly recommend this construction company to anyone looking to get work done on their home . read more

Campbell Quality Construction was recommended to us by our relatives. We called them to do a complete remodel of our Kitchen/Living Room and our Master Bath. They were very accommodating, and were able to make recommendations based on their extensive experience. They did an amazing job, and within the estimated time period. Their prices are great and they do not nickel-and-dime you for small changes. Also, they make sure to accommodate most request same or next day. It was a great experience working on this remodel with them. Once I am ready to remodel the rest of my bathrooms, living areas, or outdoor spaces, I will be calling them again. Can't wait! read more

Semso is a pleasure to work with. The quality of his work is outstanding, his timing is precise, and he always has time to share updates and answer all your questions. He did multiple projects for us and every time it was a stellar outcome. So this is my second review now that Semso had completely redone my front and back yard. I could not be more satisfied with the outcome! He had installed all new sprinkler system, planted fruit trees and flowers, evened out the ground and put in nee grass. He also built a gazebo and a bench for us and created a beautifull walkway around the yard. Thank you again for making my home so beautiful! read more

Semso and his team worked on several projects for our house - none the least was to underpin our foundation after the house was tearing at the seams following some seismic activity. We have also recently called on him for a Condo makeover. Semso is trustworthy - takes pride in his work - and his team do a great job. Plumbing, electrical, brick & mortar, patio, carpentry, bathroom/kitchen remodel - you name it - Campbell Quality Construction (CQC) can do it and do it well. read more

We hired Semso and his team to complete a relatively small (48 sf) master bathroom complete reno project. He and his team were always punctual, well organized, and demonstrated great respect for keeping our living space free from dust and debris. There was good communication throughout our project and the results exceeded our expectations. Though we didn't have a super clear idea of what we wanted to do at the outset Semso guided us in making the necessary decisions at the right time to keep the project on track and within our previously defined budget & scope. Couldn't be happier and heartily recommend Campbell Quality Construction for all of your home reno needs. As one other reviewer commented, we also now have "reno fever" and are saving up to do the guest bathroom next! read more

Semso and his team are hard working with a strong attention to detail. He has helped me and my family with various projects from building out a basement, electrical, dry wall, installation of appliances, to the smallest and most intricate tasks. He can be reached at a moments notice to fix a broken window before the rain starts pouring with no complaints. Semso is reliable, shows up on time, if not early, works on the weekends and will do what it takes to keep a deadline, which gives me peace of mind. I have left him alone at home with his team with no issues. He is completely trustworthy! I'm a bit taken back by the negative review due to an alleged driving incident and to bash his character is outrageous. He is a hard working man from another country who has been here many, many years. I would hate to see Semso loose out because someone was in a bad mood that day. read more

After the stellar work that Campbell Quality construction did on our interior, we decided to hire them again to build a pergola in our backyard. Their bid came in below the landscaping companies' bids so it was an easy decision to work with them again. Semso and his crew went above and beyond to make sure the Pergola matched the style we had picked out. They installed a new concrete slab and and built the custom pergola to fit our space. We love sitting in the shade and enjoying our yard! The guys even helped me finish my son's play structure. I can't say enough about Semso and his team. read more

Campbell Quality Construction - Our new pergola. - General Contractors Near Me

Last month we had the unfortunate experience of having to go through mold remediation in our guest bathroom. Once that process was completed, we needed to hire a general contractor to basically rebuild our bathroom. After several phone calls and estimates with various contractors (a frustrating process to say the least), we decided to hire Semso and his team. We felt super comfortable with him and his estimate was right in line with our budget. The work they performed was excellent! If you are fortunate enough to have Ruben work on your project, you will not be disappointed. Suffice it to say that Ruben rocks!! Overall, we were pleased with the way our bathroom turned out. Semso and Ruben even returned the day after project completion to readjust our vanity mirror and tighten down our new toilet bowl tank. Semso, Ruben and the rest of the team did a great job. Semso was pretty accessible via phone, email and text throughout the whole process. They were professional, punctual and cleaned up after themselves every day. I would highly recommend Semso and his team if you are in need of a construction project! read more

We can't thank Semso enough for our two beautiful completely remodeled bathrooms!! He is the easiest, cleanest, most creative, most detailed, most responsive and most responsible contractor we have ever come across...not to mention the most reasonably priced. We are so thankful that he was the one we picked. Even after he completed our bathrooms, our dog still waits for him by the gate! Thank you Semso and team...we look forward to working with you again on our upcoming home project. read more

Campbell Quality Construction is as good as it gets. Semso did two complete bathroom remodels for me. I liked the first bathroom remodel so much (!) I hired him again to do the second bathroom. Totally satisfied. Extremely professional, ethical, and remarkably economical. Next time I'm ready to make a substantial investment in a remodel, I'll definitely solicit Semso's bid. Fantastic work on my projects! read more

Semso of Campbell Quality Construction did a complete bathroom remodel for me as well as cleanup and repair/ reno on the other side of the shower wall that was being destroyed by the poor workmanship previously done in the shower. He is the cleanest, most creative, most detailed, most responsive and most responsible contractor I have ever come across. There were choices I needed help making and he was forthcoming with good suggestions. He left the site clean and had someone on the job 11 days straight to complete the job in record time. Being a single woman with no past experience in renovations made me leary of taking on anything major. I am thankful it was a good experience and look forward to him tackling jobs for me in the future. I have already referred him to family and a friend. read more

I called to ask if this company would like to work on a project with our design company. They RUDELY declined. It is totally understandable if they would prefer not to work together. We retained Campbell Quality Construction to do a total remodel of the entire 3500 SQF upper level of our house, which hadn't been re-done since it was built in the 1980s. The remodel was done in two phases over a two year period, with a break in between phases. The remodel entailed a large master bedroom complex, a very high ceiling living room/dining room, and a large open-plan kitchen with a gas fireplace, which required removing a wall to open up the space. Making things more challenging, the house is semi-circular in plan-view, so there are no square corners and construction required special attention to detail. The result of the remodel was nothing short of spectacular! Visitors to the house marvel at its appearance, and some have said that it should appear in some publication like Architectural Digest. Our home is stunningly beautiful and so comfortable to live in. We love it! We found Semso Redzic, the owner of CQC, easy to work with, and he and our designer proved to be an excellent team and worked well together. We are completely satisfied with CQC's work. You will not regret trusting Semso with your project no matter how big or how small. He will not cut corners but make sure the work is done right. Semso has an eye for perfection and will not accept anything less. We are pleased to enthusiastically recommend CQC! In fact I have ideas for the lower level :) read more

Semso and his team are simply amazing. We used his services last summer to remodel our 2.5 baths and the quality of work and service is just great, at very compatible price as well. I enjoyed dealing with Semso. He was able to give us a lot of good suggestions improving and sometimes fixing designs we have prepared. Several times when our orders got delayed or were plainly wrong he was able to save the day personally dealing with the problem and suggesting quick and reasonable alternative solution / place to buy missing materials. Also he was easy to reach out and his team was accurate and polite. I would definitely use his services once again and recommend it to anyone. read more

We had Semso come out for a quote on the water damage in our master bathroom. He was very professional, courteous and knowledgable. He made some great recommendations for additional work that could be done simultaneously with ease. We never felt pressured to add these extra items but appreciated having his expertise in pointing out opportunities for saving money in the future. His quote was reasonable and we would have definitely chosen Campbell Construction for this job had we not received a personal recommendation for another contractor. read more

We've used Semso (of Campbell Quality Construction) in 2 different homes and wouldn't hesitate to use him again. We first hired him to finish a kitchen remodel in our townhouse - we got in over our heads trying to do it ourselves. He had a team out the next day and it only took them a few days to finish what we started. When we decided to update the kitchen in our new home, we immediately called him back in. We also hired him to give our fireplace a much needed facelift and to do plumbing work. read more

When I requested a quote from Campbell Quality Construction through Yelp, Semso responded within 30 minutes. When he dropped by to discuss our project, we immediately sensed that he knew his stuff. He gave us great practical suggestions, especially where he helped us reduce our cost (and his price) and guided our choices while quickly picking up on our style preferences. Later that day, Semso emailed us his detailed estimate and we had a little sticker shock, being relatively inexperienced with construction projects, but further investigation showed his quote was well within the norm for the amount of work and materials involved. He showed flexibility on construction and materials and patiently readjusted his quote several times to fit our budget. Throughout the project and even after it was completed in about 10 days, Semso was quick to respond to our phone calls. He always took care of his crew to make sure they had what they needed, when they needed it. CQC distinguished themselves by their professionalism: Semso and his crew led by Rubin arrived precisely on time (even a few minutes early) as they would every single day, told us what they would do each day, and then did exactly that and often a little more. I don't think they ever took more than 15-20 minutes break for lunch, and one guy came in for a full day's work on a Saturday. They kept the work area clean and wrapped up at the end of each day to make us comfortable around the construction. We often asked for changes, or little tweaks and the crew cheerfully obliged us. They all wanted to make sure we got exactly what we wanted - what a great team! The final result is amazing, even better than imagined when we first started out. The quality of construction and finish is top notch. We are already planning the next couple of projects and most definitely will be calling Semso in the near future. I highly recommend them. read more

Having worked with many contractors in the past, I knew Semso of Campbell Quality Construction was a gem to find. Prompt, professional, knowledgeable and very detail oriented, Semso knows what he's doing and does it well. I had him remove and interior wall between two rooms which required structural knowledge, electrical, framing, sheetrock, texturizing, painting and trim work. Semso made quick work of the project and the new opening looks as if it had always been there. In a guest room, he removed carpeting and replaced it with hardwood floors to match the rest of the house. The stain and transitions matched my existing rooms perfectly and he even leveled my floor for me. Honest, reliable and hard working, I'd call Semso again in a hearbeat for any future work. read more

I have used Campbell Quality Construction for many projects in my home and my in-laws home. I would highly recommend this company for their timeliness in getting the job done and for the quality of work that is provided. One of their specialties is working with marble and granite. I have both in my home and it looks great! There really isn't anything this company cannot do. I have had new bathrooms installed, a new kitchen, new hardwood floor installed, walls moved, a garage changed to a room, french doors installed, new windows installed...pretty much anything I have asked for in my home has been able to be done. I have more projects I want done and I will definitely be calling Campbell Quality Construction! read more

We used Campbell Quality Construction to remodel our kitchen after we discovered that our dishwasher had a slow leak that ruined our wood floors and soaked the sub-floor. Although the insurance company covered the cost to repair the damage, my wife and I used this as an opportunity to modernize our 1960s-era kitchen and to pay for some upgrades. We are so glad that we selected CQC, lead by Semso, for our remodel. Semso was very easy to work with and listened to our vision for the kitchen. From the time his crew started until the end, Semso constantly kept us informed as to what would be going on each day. This was important to us, as we decided to live in our house during the remodel and have three toddlers. After each day of work, Semso's crew cleaned up the day's mess and put their tools away. We even trusted them to lock up if we were out of the house when they finished for the day. If we ever had concerns, Semso was easy to contact and was prompt in returning our calls. It was apparent to us that Semso had been working with his crew for some time, as he had a great relationship with them and their workmanship was outstanding (more on that later). From my observation, Semso had been working with his crew for years, whether it be the electricians, the wood floor guys, or his general construction guys. We made a few changes on the fly with Semso and he was very accommodating and promptly gave us a revised estimate so we could decide whether to proceed with the changes. When it came to dealing with the insurance company to apportion the estimate between repairing the damage from the dishwasher (covered) and our upgrades (not covered), Semso was easy to work with and helped facilitate that process. Semso's workmanship is outstanding. As one example, although we ordered custom cabinets for our kitchen, because our walls were not entirely level, Semso's crew had to hand fit the cabinets to the wall to avoid gaps between the cabinets and the wall. They did so and our cabinets look amazing. Semso's workmanship is also apparent in the custom tile backsplash and the nice details he added on his own such as a new wood frame and ledge under our kitchen window. In the end, our kitchen looks beautiful, was on-budget, and was finished on time. After the first day of demolition, seeing my old kitchen ripped apart, I knew I would have to put a lot of trust in Semso to put it back together and to have the finished product look great. Not only did Semso meet my high expectations, but the finished kitchen looks better than I even imagined. We constantly receive compliments on our kitchen and we are already thinking about the next home project we want to tackle. When we are ready for that project, Semso will be the first person we call. read more

Got an estimate from Semso. Based on his schedule, he could not start the job for the next two months. I considered it and decided to go with someone else. Politely advised Semso of my decision by e-mail. Got a rude and unprofessional response: "Thanks for wasting my time." Someone should explain to Semso that giving quotes without obligation is part of contractor's job. Would not recommend anyone to hire a contractor with such an attitude. read more

Semso and the team are really good. The bathroom is sparkling new now and a few things in the kitchen have been fixed. The team have been always on time and did an outstanding job. I really appreciate all the work they've done and the patience they had with all my requests. I would highly recommend them! read more

Do I like Semso personally, of course, but my backyard gazebo and fireplace project was extremely mismanaged. I truly believe the ongoing projects caused the biggest issue with having unsupervised sub-contractors having to step in to complete portions of our project. When there were items that required changes, Semso arbitrarily told his electrician to add can lights, or had his two or three different masonry guys add add add or alter the fireplace addition that was never to the specs we desired - and at the end, Semso came to us for a lot more money, and wanted us to sign for a "change order" contract for over $4K more than our agreed price of $33,000 plus dollars. BTW - a change order has to be agreed upon prior to the work!!! All these additional items that we were told - implied and or agreed to - and this was the direct quote from Semso, "ok, I will include EVERYTHING on the project - just give me a thousand more" - so, that is when we signed our contract from 32K to 33K!!!! Then at the end, he wanted additional line items like gutters - that we never received!!!!!!!! Why wasn't this engineered into the project????? The workers (although Ruben was great) left my backyard in shambles!!! Overspray and mortar remnants everywhere. My landscape lighting needs at least four replacements and I'll have to repaint my fence and back side of my house. No matter how nice the finished work looks, it remains in need of gutters and costly time and effort to clean up the mess!!! read more
