And they truly care about many social issues close to my heart! Love them! read more

CAMP - Yoga Near Me - Tampa, Florida

I actually have been here a few times, but never joined. I had a great experience and I loved to have the classes were heated and the lights were very dim! The traffic just getting there even during off peak hours is the only reason I don't go as much, but I would definitely recommend it! It was a little confusing in the beginning because they have different buildings so I was not sure which one actually had the class I signed up for however, after going a few times I was familiar with it. The parking is not the best. The staff is very friendly! Most of the classes are always full so it's very hard to get a spot unless you join the waitlist and hope to get in. read more

Trying out CAMP for the first time with the circuit class was such a fun new workout! I haven't done any interval training in a hot minute, so this class pretty much kicked my butt. Glenn was a great instructor, we arrived early and he was helpful showing us how to use the TrueForm treadmills correctly. The class was super fast, with different sets and a full body workout. Switching from weights, to running, pushups, squats and core. I loved all the upbeat music and light changes to get you motivated! All other staff were very friendly and helpful. I was sore for a good 4 days after this workout! Highly recommend CAMP, they offer a variety of other classes too if the circuit class isn't your jam. read more

How have I never shared a review for CAMP?! I have been a member for a year and a half now, and I am a die-hard for this place. 5 different class types under one membership, and then different class options within each class type. Feels like I hit the jackpot, even with the South Tampa price. Based on my mood and how my body feels that week, I switch between a bunch of different classes. I love their popup events, everyone on their staff, their branding, their instructors... I truly don't have one ill word to share. Just make sure to cancel your classes more than 8 hours ahead of time, or you'll be charged a nice little $15 fee ;) read more

Normally I lift weights on my own and have never participated in a group lifting class. Signed up for Arms and Abs, and had the best ab workout of my life. Glen did a great job leading the class he kept it high energy, was positive, and motivational. I also participated in a cycle class and a yoga class here. The instructors here are top-notch. Classes were challenging and may not be suitable for beginners. Camp Offers various membership/class options. A single class credit is $24 vs an unlimited monthly membership is $189. There are bundle options (5 classes for $110). The unlimited at $189 comes out to roughly 8 classes a month or 2 classes a week if one were to purchase classes individually. I will continue to visit Camp especially for the targeted ab classes and possibly another cycle class. read more

Honest review Feedback Let me start by saying something about me: I am originally from Colombia/venezuela. I did discover this special feeling you experience through exercise at my early age of 9 since my mom was an 80's fitness instructor so I spent most of my spare time w her in the aerobic roomI loved it.. So I can say I am addicted to working out...since then and as an adult I got the privilege to train with the best personal trainers in Caracas. When I moved to USA I was constantly looking for good trainers/ group classes..Then Covid did hit and I felt lost! Then someone crossed my path who recommended me Camp and I felt saved . Since day one I was hooked! The environment is very positive. The staff at front are sweethearts who greet you with a big smile every time. The instructors are elite trainers! All the classes are top notch that will focus on wherever your needs or likes are. A big shoutout to: Brennan , Sam , Andrew, Alyssa, Sammy, Alysha, Lance, Connor, Alex J, Glenn, Josh, Matt, Jeffrey!! Yoga: Kim, Jessica, Luc, Jairod, Megan. Cycling: Monet, Elle, Summer... All of the Camp trainers are outstanding professionals who really care about giving the best possible on each class with a lot of positive and encouraging energy. Thank you Camp! Cannot believe I haven't reviewed CAMP sooner than now. CAMP is a Tampa staple. So many people I know (me and my husband included) are members. The concept is so cool and I LOVE the variety of their workout classes - you can run/lift, just lift, cycle, do yoga, or do pilates. And it's all included in the VERY reasonably priced membership. It's no wonder this place has a cult like following. And all the instructors are top tier. Absolutely love working out here. I wish there were more concepts like this in more cities. Loveeee CAMP! read more

I came for Yoga-Restore. This was a great class to decompress, relax, fully enjoy the moment, and take some time for yourself. I will definitely return for more of these classes. read more

I miss this place so much. It was my life blood. It's beautiful location. It's amazing trainers. Shout out to summer(s) classes. Every class is amazing. The management is so cool and friendly , it really is a safe place where you can be your best self. I can't wait to move back home so I can come here again. read more

Tried my first class on Friday; Hot Ass & Abs with Anna. You reserve a spot ahead of time which is nice to know you're guaranteed placement. I was sent a reminder email prior to coming to class. When I arrived, I was greeted professionally and with a genuine attitude. Everyone I came in contact with was super welcoming! The class itself was fun and challenging. It's broken down into segments, legs, abs and some full body moves. I was sweating my ass off in the best way possible. The instructor, Anna, was motivating & gave clear, direct instructions. The prices are on the higher end, BUT definitely worth what they're charging. Best workout I've had in a while. I'll be back! read more

Camp Tampa is the ultimate workout compound, but it's much more than a workout to me. The atmosphere, equipment, facility, instructors and fellow campers make this one of my favorite places to be. Who else can really say that about their gym!? The positive vibes and energy this facility provides is one of a kind. There are so many different classes to choose from. HIIT (High intensity interval training), pilates, hot yoga, spin, circuit and stations. They even have express 30 minute classes along with flex sessions that run continuously for 30 minutes, bringing in a new group every 10 minutes. They have so many classes available that anybody can fit a camp session into their schedule. They have specials for new members, so come see what all the hype is about for yourself. You will not regret it. read more

so much fun! i love going! the teachers are so nice and some will take the class with you and not teach for fun! wish they would add more spots for some classes so more can participate and get off waiting list and that they would have classes that start at 8pm or 8:30pm for those who don't typically work a 9-5 job read more

CAMP Tampa is a MUST if you're in Tampa or passing through. Camp has completely changing my perspective on working out and my body as well. I've been regularly going to classes with them for over a year now, and I've seen such a difference. The instructors are amazing and highly trained. They take the time to teach proper form and tips to be more effective in each movement, so that you can take the knowledge when you're working out by yourself. This is a trendy and luxurious boutique gym. They've really thought of everything. It's split into 3 studios: Yoga, Cycle and Circuit. You have to try all three studios. Each types of class is amazing in their own way. My favorite are the circuit and hot yoga classes. I'm not sure what I'll do if I ever move away from Tampa. Camp has become a second home for me! read more

Wow! This place is the greatest!! I've basically worked out my entire adult life in professional gyms and with trainers. Camp is unlike any place I've ever been to. It's not an open gym. They host several classes throughout the day (from super early morning to evening.) There are 3 buildings that have yoga, cycle, circuit, stations and they even have a day care. I haven't come into contact with a single unkind or unfriendly person in this entire gym. Everybody is warm, welcoming and encouraging! What a find. Love Camp!! read more

Camp is an awesome workout venue in Tampa where you can find a variety of different class options from yoga, spin to circuit and other options. I have done private classes through my work and loved both spin class and yoga! I will definitely be adding CAMP into my own workout routine. read more

First time at the outdoor flex class and it was a sanitary, short but strenuous work out. This is a perfect solution for anyone not quite ready to go into an indoor gym or studio yet. The work out was 30 minutes and worked the entire body at three stations rotating different exercises. read more

The best workout ever! CAMP offers a wide variety of classes with numerous class time options. My personal favorite classes are Circuit (similar to Orange Theory) and Stations (similar to a bootcamp). Every workout pushes me to my limits and is unique. The staff are so friendly. Highly recommend trying this place - and you will get hooked like everyone else! read more

I had such a wonderful experience at CAMP Tampa with the Yelp Elite squad. I took their spin class and hot yoga. I am usually not great at either class. I have been exercising a lot more lately and I found myself able to keep up in the spin class. Once I got to Yoga, I definitely needed it after the spin class and it was a perfect compliment. So glad I got to take both of these classes with the great instructors! read more

Absolutely LOVE this gym. Every time I am in Tampa, I make a point to go & take a class here. From hot pilates (mat, not reformer), to hot yoga, HIIT classes, and cycling, they have it all. The classes are challenging no matter which you sign up for - I know that no matter what class I choose, I will get a great sweat with a great instructor. It's a pricey studio, but it's clean and consistently great. I can't wait to try more classes! read more

Absolutely obsessed with this AWESOME place! The last time I remember enjoying these activities truly was at Camp. They have nailed the concept and I look forward to (vs dreading) going in the mornings. I should have joined years ago (and I am NO gym Guru, BTW), but grateful I'm a CAMP'R now! Super friendly, helpful staff and the Coaches/Trainers are fantastic! They are supportive and inspirational! The entire CAMP Team is excellent and I would highly recommend this fabulous facility to ANYONE... younger, older, experienced or green! Enjoy and cheers to good health and happiness all around from Clarissa of South Tampa and Reeves Import Motorcars. read more

This was my first time working out at Camp. I have been wanting to go since it opened. I slid in a hair late. The girls at the front desk immediately welcomed me and got me to the appropriate room quickly. I really appreciated this since class was just starting. No warm up for me!! I jumped in going full throttle. This was a circuit class with Jeff. I really liked his style and his clear instruction. This class involved short bursts of running on a treadmill alternating with strength work. It was intense. My friend who met me felt the same. The pace is quick with a few seconds of rest in between. Wam bam thank you ma'am it's over in a blink of an eye . Camp offers yoga, spinning and circuit classes in its modern space. Child care is available for a minimal fee. Towels are provided. Water, juices, snacks are available for purchase. They carry gym clothing too. Lockers are provided for your personal items. An overall great experience. read more

Amazing spot. I moved here from NYC last year. To say the least I've been to MANY different workout facilities throughout manhattan... probably at least 25 different studios and i was a member of Equinox so I'm a well seasoned gym-goer. When I discovered camp Tampa through a friend, I was hooked from the minute I walked through the door! They offer an incredible variety of classes and ALL the instructors are top notch. Seriously never taken a class that I don't like. All the workouts are unique and you WILL be dripping in sweat! Circuit and Stations classes are my favorite because I love HIIT classes. They are always challenging. Definitely be ready to WORK when you come here. If you're out of shape or a beginner I recommend letting the instructor know at the beginning of the class so they can provide modifications because the workouts are definitely challenging even for me as someone who exercises regularly. (5-6 days per week). Camp Tampa I am so grateful you exist!!!!!!!! I don't think the class prices are unreasonable. First month unlimited is $90. Plus you are getting HIIT, yoga, cycling ... An amazing variety. I think $159 is VERY reasonable for an unlimited membership with top notch classes and instructors. Favorite instructors are - Gen, Glenn, Dylan and Andrew! Thank you CAMP!!!!!!!!!! read more

I had never been here before but got the lovely opportunity to attend a yoga class on Sunday morning while I was visiting Tampa. I adore this place! Going to regular gyms always made me uncomfortable because I didn't know what I was doing. The instructors here are so helpful in showing the proper form and guiding classes. Everyone has positive energy and is really focused on their fitness. The rooms are dark and the music they play is so fun! Really helps you get in the zone. I also like that they have a different selection of class types so you can switch it up. Can't recommend it enough. read more

Camp Tampa is the best fitness establishment to ever be created. Not only does each instructor push you to your limits, but the music is up to date and pushes you harder mentally! Additionally, everyone that works out here is hot and fit which inspires you to WORK HARDER. I cannot say enough positive things about this place. 5 stars for Camp. read more

This is a boutique gym in every sense EXCEPT maybe the stuffy elitist one. You see, Camp brought these three things together in harmony: Cycling, Circuit, and Yoga. Some classes like the Cycle blend even combine the two! Unlike most studios in Tampa that do either Cycling, Circuit, OR Yoga--you get all three in one place!! See why it's so awesome??? The staff is very friendly and remembers your name, which makes you feel special (I think that's magical because I can barely remember my own!!). The trainers are awesome, and aren't your run of the mill Planet/L.A. (sorry guys) Fitness trainers. Specifically, Thierno and Gail are Ah-mah-zing (the only ones I've done classes with, so those are good odds). They understand injuries and limitations and how to work around them. The beauty of Camp is that you can do a rigorous day of Circuit training, then the next day you can follow through with a day focused on releasing those tense muscles and joints through a Root or Yin class so you can do it all over the next day without injury. We all need some Yin for our Yang. As for the grounds themselves, beautiful. Tucked away behind Datz and surrounded by trees, it does feel like a Camp environment. The Yoga studio is simple but beautiful. Cork floors, white walls, and large windows. They have yoga mats and towels available...and, there is even a full bathroom on the yoga side for when you get extra swampy during those HOT sessions. The circuit/cycle studio has full bathrooms as well with two shower stalls. They also have a great child care facility. Happy Camping! read more

Worth. The. Hype. Let me begin by saying that I was never someone who enjoyed going to the gym. I generally thought of going to the gym as an unemployable necessity. Camps Tampa entirely changed my perspective. The classes are actually FUN, the instructors are phenomenal, and the other campers are all respectful and outgoing. Going to camp has become my favorite part of the day, and I end up accomplishing more throughout the day after all the positivity at camp. They also offer the perfect variety of classes: yoga, cycling, and circuit. There are different varieties of classes within each of those categories as well. Each type of class has a designated room with yoga being in the building next door to keep the experience quieter and more zen. You sign up for each class in advance so you always know you'll have a spot. They let you cancel up to 4 hours in advance which is really helpful. Don't just take my word for it, check out camp Tampa yourself and be my newest workout buddy! read more

I cancelled my Camp 2 Go as everything is back open again and I'm changing Gyms. Was charged two times. It was eventually Fixed. CAMP Tampa--a truly amazing gym and community of people. Where do I begin? CAMP Tampa is a special place where you can push/test/rejuvenate your Mind, Body, and Spirit. The technicals: CAMP Tampa currently offers yoga, cycle, and circuit-style classes with plans to expand their business and class offerings in 2019 (I can't wait to see what they'll offer next). There are many different membership (or non-membership) options that you can choose from: single class passes, multi-class packs, $10 community classes, unlimited yoga-only, unlimited full membership, and personal training. When I say unlimited, I mean it, you can come as much as you'd like. The gym also offers child care for parents at a very reasonable price, $5 or less depending on the amount of passes you buy. The non-technicals: At some point in our lives we all embark on our fitness journeys and starting (or maintaining) can be one of the hardest parts. CAMP is comprised of a community of people that workout and also come to support each other to reach our common goals. CAMP is a safe place where you can challenge yourself, where you can grow, where you will meet new people and make life-long friends. You don't have to drink the juice--but it's pretty damn good (kidding). I've been attending CAMP since it first began. I've trailed almost every membership option they have and I've gradually become a regular, full-member. I've made CAMP a part of my daily routine and I can attest that I've seen and experienced some of the most positive changes to my Mind, Body, and Spirit. I keep re-iterating the wholistic approach CAMP offers because it is vital to support all aspects of your life if you want to attain your goals and CAMP Tampa is the place to do it. If you've been thinking about stopping by or trying out one of their classes--do it! You won't regret the decision, you'll love it. If you see me, come say hello, I'm always happy to meet new CAMP friends. You'll have to excuse me though, I'll likely be soaking in sweat! read more

I want to give it a 3.5. It doesn't deserve a 3, but it doesn't deserve a 4. It's cute, don't get me wrong, but it feels noninclusive. I tried several of their formats, but every time I went, I didn't feel welcomed. Other people seem to love it, but I didn't feel "at home" there. Class formats that are specific to them were not explained well if at all prior to class, so I felt just thrown in and lost. Glad people seem happy there and they're doing well, so they won't miss me. read more

If you want to work hard, look no further. The best part about CAMP is their time options. Pretty much 5am-7pm with multiple offerings every hour. If you can't get in Stations, try sculpt or cycle. The coaches all bring the energy to every class and they're very diverse in their training methods and motivations. Pro tip: Glenn's cycle class and Josh's circuit will put a pep in your step for the whole day :) read more

I have taken a few classes here and they have all been wonderful and challenging. Whether you are new to yoga or advanced, the yoga classes here are amazing! I ball hard on regular basis all over the Tampa Bay area. I must humbly say that Camp Tampa balls harder. Jaime's classes are off the charts in the super clean and comfortable yoga room. Easily the best gym in Tampa! The variety of classes offered is like nothing in the area. Each class is so amazing. I haven't taken a single class that didn't challenge me and the instructors are all awesome. They push you and are so inspiring! Prior to Camp, I had a membership to a bootcamp gym but wanted more variety in my workouts. This gym has everything in one place from spin classes, circuit classes, hot yoga and specialty classes (arms & abs, ass & abs, etc.). The cost is well worth what you get at this gym! I love everything about this place and genuinely look forward to going each time! If you are deciding which class to try first, I recommend cycle with Jen (AMAZING) or a circuit class. You really can't go wrong! read more
