I ended up joining and staying for their pilates and sculpt classes and it was great this past year (hence the additional star) I had met so many fun and great people, until the rebrand. they took away all the fun camp frills and thrills and cute decor which made the place stand out. they hired several new instructors to their programs which I enjoy new talent coming into the community, however, the campground has focused to appeal to clientele that are either influencers, or rich south Tampa people, rather than the general community. they have waiting lists for classes that sometimes become nearly impossible to get off of, you will have to book a week in advance which sucks if you decide to want to drop into a specific class right then and there, there is NO PARKING whatsoever, and the instructors don't take criticism well. plus they do not offer enough class times for those who may be a shift worker and want to come after work later in the night, which made it very hard for me to come. even through the hard time camp is going through right now, it allowed me to meet some really great people and network to become an instructor of my own at another studio in the area. its just there's some better studios in the Tampa area right now that people are going to.

I'm absolutely hooked on the infrared saunas and book a session whenever I can. Pro tip: if you prefer privacy, choose Sauna 1, as Sauna 2 is located just outside the locker room area.

This gym is perfect for someone who hates big box gyms. I actually know the people who work there and work out there. There definitely is a lot more personal attention and service if you want. They also will leave you alone if you don't want someone harassing you or tricking you into awful contracts. Love this gym! I've been to a few mid to smaller sized gyms that have sucked. They didn't have enough variety in the equipment to have great workouts in for all muscles groups. Excited by our sessions I hired Scott for online coaching. I repeatedly told him his workouts were taking me 90 minutes to 2 hours to complete and I only could spend 60 minutes. He eventually told me that I needed to spend 75 to 90 minutes doing strength 3x per week. This didn't make sense since lifting isn't my primary sport and I don't have that amount of time. He stated that the workouts may be taking so long because I wasn't conditioned to doing the level of work he was assigning. I would expect a custom training plan to be tailored for my needs then, but he refused and simply told me to remove 1 set from accessory lifts. I had to completely restructure his workouts to make them fit within an hour. He also responded to just 1 of the 4 form review videos I sent through, although he was very thorough when he did respond. I assume he's great for some people, but seems like he doesn't have the time to truly customize plans for every one of his online clients or respond to messages. If you can work with him in person I's say it's worth it, but not as an online coach.

The space is big, the coaches are great--shoutout to Tori, Hailey and Hunter-- and the wods are always a good workout. This particular facility is part of Tampa Movement Lab, which offers a variety of other classes (Mobility, Endurance, etc) and is part of the unlimited membership. I also love that it's female-owned and run, which I've never encountered. Overall, if you're looking for a solid workout this is the place to go!

The only downside is it took a few weeks of going there before anyone explained the heart rate monitor and how to use it to achieve your goals. Other than that I really recommend coming here if you want a good sweat session!

Sometimes people are nice but there are definitely some rude, cocky people there with attitude. I also dislike how many influencers or people that are filming themselves. It's busy enough and now I feel like I need to move out of the way because I don't want to be in your video/photos. Also- why does the childcare room only take 2+ year old kids? They should take babies as well. I can't workout here as much as I want because I am a mom of young kids. I like how the ymca can take care of babies starting 6 or 8 weeks I believe. The parking lot is madness when it's busy. Hard to find a spot sometimes. This place just keeps signing up more and more members and so it's overcrowded here. If it wasn't for the indoor lap pool, I would have gone elsewhere for the gym and spend a little more money.
