Hands down one of the most fun ways to get in better shape and stay healthy. There are tons of locations throughout the DFW metroplex and you can attend as many as you like at any location. Having attended both morning and evening camps at several different locations, they are all great experiences - and never the same workout twice. It's non-confrontational, suitable for all fitness levels because you take it at your own pace, and you will definitely get a good workout in. read more

Not a fan of boot camp. So you gotta know I am not a fan of outdoor boot camp either. But this program was a really positive experience for me. Knowing you are not the only looney tune out there trying to keep yourself healthy that early in the morning or out in the hot sticky heat is the best feeling. And motivation! If you need to add something different to your routine, or you need to get off the couch - please look into this program. You won't regret checking it out. read more

Camp Gladiator has ROCKED MY WORLD! I have never had a workout that I didn't thoroughly enjoy. I could begin seeing the changes in my physique after the first two weeks of training! Every workout is different, and there are so many different locations and times that make it convenient for everyone to find a time that works for them. The trainers are super motivational and always extremely energetic. If you want the most killer workout visit Mason- he will work you to your maximum, but in an awesome way. But in reality, ALL of the trainers I have visited have been incredible. I also love the sense of teamwork at CG. I have met so many people and truly feel a comrdodory amoungt the group. If you are hesitant about joining, I am telling you that you will absolutely not regret your decision. :) read more

I love Camp Gladiator!!! It's a great group boot camp like workout. You have fitness trainers at your fingertips, literally, I text with my trainer often. She holds me accountable to be at workouts. I need that! I work long shifts & my workdays very every week. I'm able to go to different locations in the DFW area on different days every week. I like the fact that there are set workout times. It's like I have an appointment time. I put it on my schedule and I make a point to be there. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because I wish there were more mid-morning(9am) workouts closer to my home but that's changing come April hopefully! read more

I signed up a month ago for a Bold membership. I have since got a job and I can not attend the classes. I only went twice. I have tried to cancel, but I was denied! I am also sending this to my lawyer, as I have not received any services or goods after those 2 visits.. read more

I have never been a gym rat, however CG changed my life. Over the last few months I have been MIA because of work life, but no matter my trainer is always checking in. I miss them all, and once my schedule gets back to normal, I will be back with a vengeance. I have read all of these comments, and honestly I think it has more to do with how lazy people get, you get out of CG what you put in, the difference with CG and a gym is that you get a team, you get a cheering squad, you get a trainer who does want you to do the best. No matter if its your regular trainer or if you go to a new location they all LOVE their job and it shows. I know they have had customer service issues but honestly its always worked out in the log run. Now if only we could do something about the Texas heat lol. #CGStrong read more

I have been going to CampGladiator for almost a year now - I can honestly say that I am in the best shape since high school. I was NEVER one to get up and workout in the morning - now my day doesn't feel complete without going to CG. I was finally able to get my husband to try out CG in January, now he is going 4 - 5 times a week! You really do build friendships with CG, it holds you accountable and helps you get out of bed or get there after a long day at work. I still have a gym membership - but CG is the only thing that has helped me workout on a regular basis for a year now. I could go on and on about how much CG has improved my overall lifestyle. Come try it out - it just takes one workout and you will never turn back. read more

I LOVE CAMP GLADIATOR! Camp Gladiator has been a life changing experience for me. The trainers are amazing at knowing exactly how to push each person to the next level. Camp Gladiator is more than just a workout, it's a community of trainers and other campers who continue to motivate each other. I have been a part of this wonderful community for over two years and I couldn't live without it! One of my favorite parts of Camp Gladiator is the weight loss challenges. I lost over 15 lbs in 4 weeks with the help of their eating plan, motivation, and workouts. Next to getting married, the decision to join Camp Gladiator has been the best thing in my life. I couldn't live without it! read more

I have tried a few Boot Camps in North Dallas and Camp Gladiator is the best program out there for your money. We are all busy and with Camp Gladiator you have several options to either attend in the am to start your day or if you don't make it out of bed that morning, you can attend a camp in the pm. You also have several locations you can attend all across the North side of Dallas. There is no yelling at this boot camp, just lots of positive energy and encouragement to help you meet your goals. Whether your goal is to lose 5 pounds or 50 pounds. Every work out is different and fun with team challenges, so you get to know people. Working out with a group of folks you get to know, means they are waiting for you to show up and it helps you stay accountable. read more

Incredible workout, motivating trainers, and so much fun while working every muscle in your body. It is true what they say - for all fitness levels. Highly recommend!!!! read more

I'm at the tail end of my second camp (camps last a month, one week off in between) and this is by far the best group fitness option. I've been very impressed with the trainers teaching abilities and making sure that we perform all our drills with proper form. They are located in a lot of major cities so there's now no more excuses for being out of town and missing workouts as a result. There's a reason why I show up to 5:30AM workouts and it's all thanks to the great trainers and constantly changing workouts. read more

Camp Gladiator is the absolute best workout in the Dallas area. It is a fitness camp for all levels and offers a great variety of locations and trainers. There are locations all over the metroplex with morning and evening classes and you can attend any location, anytime. The camps are 4 weeks long followed by one week off. When I started, I could barely got through the first day but I stuck with it and two and a half years later, I am in the best shape of my life. Each workout is different so it's never boring or repetitive. The trainers are wonderful and really care about each camper. They motivate us to push ourselves to our individual abilities. I cannot imagine my life without Camp Gladiator. The best illustration I can give is the fact that I am NOT a morning person yet I wake up at 5:00 am 4-5 days a week to work out. Even on the days that I really don't want to get up or feel really tired, all I have to do is get myself there and I am guaranteed a great start to the day. This is definitely the best decision I have made for my health. read more

I have been a contender (what you are called if you frequent Camp Gladiator) for 2+ years. It has changed my body more than any other workout has in my life. I've always been a runner and someone who worked out consistently. I bought a camp on Groupon after I had my second child. CG kicked my body back in shape so fast... I was amazed!!! I love Camp Gladiator and am addicted to the workouts. They are always different and the hour goes by so quick. I look forward to seeing the trainers at 5:30am... they are always so happy and it starts my day off on a great note! It truly is an amazing experience. The people, trainers, workouts... all of it are wonderful!!! read more

I've used many individual trainers throughout my life, but this is training on overdrive! At every class/location I've been to, the trainers are qualified, motivated and truly care about each person's goals and achievements. My home trainer, Terraine, makes every workout worth the time and money spent. The motivational environment is what I needed most and everyone there is on a personal journey to be the best they can be. You will work next to others at all levels of fitness so no one feels left behind in the class. You will be encouraged and supported! I joined the BOLD family before I even finished my first full camp. I knew it was a group I wanted to commit to and keep working with! CG BOLD, CG STRONG! read more

DO NOT sign up to be Bold with Camp Gladiator unless you can GUARANTEE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING will change in your life for the next 12 months. After signing up my work schedule changed to 15 hour days. I am still not able to cancel. I am paying $69 a month and haven't attended a single camp in 5 months. I have talked to Headquarters twice, the coach at the camp I went to regularly when I first signed up and a personal friend who is becoming a trainer with them. All said "sorry, we have a strict no cancellation policy" read more

Well I am not very happy with CG. I had been with them for about a year (and I loved it) right when the pandemic hit. My contract was over and everything had gone virtual. I am not a virtual person, I need to be there working with someone. So I called the business office and asked what my options were. I was told that I could pay $5.00 a month (being that my contract was over) and once I was ready to come back then I could sign up for another contract, that was fine. My purse was stolen, had to cancel all of my credit cards, and while checking to see if there were any fraudulent charges I realized that CG never gave me the $5.00 per month rate that they promised and were still charging me $85.00 per month (even with my contract being over!!!!!!!!), $340 worth of charges for something that I was not using. And shame on me for not following up sooner, but shame on them for lying to their customers. And the guy that I spoke with on the phone about it could care less about what I was saying, he just held the phone like an idiot and said well the person that you spoke with didn't say that, and how does he know what the person that I spoke with said??? I even asked when I spoke to her, will I get a follow-up email saying this is cancelled and she said no, we will just put you on a $5.00 a month plan until you decide what you want to do. They are liars and they take your money... Please be ware!!!! read more

DO NOT SIGN UP TO CAMP GLADIATOR. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. If I could have selected 0 stars I would have. First of all, I was told by the trainer that I could cancel my contract at anytime if I ever needed to, it's not a big deal he said. So I believed him and signed not thinking much about it. Until about 6 months in when I wasn't able to get to the classes anymore due to the fact I was dealing with some health issues that prevented me from working out. So I thought I would just call and cancel no big deal..WRONG!!! I call in, it takes hours to actually speak to anyone once you do talk to someone they don't care about what your saying or what is happening in your life. all they keep repeating is you signed a contact there nothing they can do. I called multiple times and got the same response. One customer rep told me if I provided a note from my doctor stating I could no longer workout, they would cancel my contract. I did send my doctors note and I also canceled my visa to prevent them from taking anymore payments. So even with a doctors note they still wanted me to continue making payments, and when I didn't provide them with a new credit card #. They sent my account to collections I have been trying to dispute the charges for weeks now, and not getting anywhere with them. this has caused so much stress I ended up paying out the remaining balance. For something I wasn't able to use. Very sad how they treat people. In the end all they want is your money. Horrible way to run a business. I'm sure if they treated people differently and were more understanding to situations that come up in life. people would be more likely to come back. I hope more people read the reviews for this company and go somewhere else. read more

Word of advise, if you are interested in joining Camp Gladiator, do your research read these reviews along with their reviews and claims on the BBB website. The way they run their business is really unprofessional, you pay to take a class in a random location, no gym, no equipment provided. In order to sign up, trainers will tell you anything you want to hear. Send you over a one sheet of paper to sign and next thing you know, your locked in to CG. If for whatever reason you need to stop payment or have a family emergency, good luck. Customer Service is horrible, very rude and not so helpful. I was trying to speak to a manager after I realize I was sent to collections.. yes, COLLECTIONS. Still dealing with the consequences, don't recommend it. There are so many gym you can join without having to go through all this hassle. If one things is certain in life and that is change, this company does not allow you the freedom to be flexible once you sign up with them and what do they do.. they push you to collections and take your money. CG, get a better business model as this one is a scam, you sell an experience and then take advantage of people by making money through your partnership with the collections company. UNETHICAL! read more

Camp Gladiator is a shady, fraudulent business. I joined CG in the spring of 2017. I signed up for a 6 month membership at $79 per month. More than 6 months passed, and while I used my membership and enjoyed it, it was time to cancel it. It is becoming clear that there is no way to do this. I called twice, and had to leave messages. I never got a return call. There is no instructions on the CG website for cancelling. After paying for another month that I did not plan to use, I went to my bank and paid for a stop payment on the automatic draft CG was taking out every month. For two months, this worked. This month, I had yet another $79 charge, but instead of the charge being from "CGnation" as it has been for the past year, it was labelled "CampGladiator" on my bank statement. I called my bank and they agree this is fraud. A call was placed to Visa by my bank, and I was able to get my money back. My account number has been changed, and I've been assured that my account will be watched closely. I'm glad I have a bank that is willing to fight for me. Instead of accepting that I want to cancel my membership and keeping my reflection of CG a positive one, I now have nothing positive to say about it. They have made me angry, and while I thought I may want to rejoin at some point, I no longer feel that way and will never do CG again. read more

For anybody about to join camp gladiator READ THE FINE PRINT!! Make sure you are willing to commit for the entire months you sign up for and if you want to cancel. Call everyday to make sure it is canceled on your last day of contract and keep proof that you made the calls (even if you have to record it). I was having a great time with CG until I had to cancel and realized the plan they signed me up for, even though I said only 12 months, was the 24 month plan. You can't cancel the membership because its not a membership its a CONTRACT. Once you sign up to cancel you literally need to have a doctors note to cancel the contract. That's the only way to cancel. When you freeze your account you still get charged $5 a month. Your not allowed to downgrade the contract for whatever reason (mines I need to downgrade because of financial issues). But you are allowed to upgrade which is beyond stupid. The customer service people are incredibly rude and no help to anybodies situation. I also found out that they had signed me up for the 24 month bold plan instead of the 12 month plan. If you don't pay they will send it to the collections agency and ruin your credit score. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYBODY!!!! I would give it 0 starts but it unfortunately doesn't let me. read more

I signed up, on a whim. It's been eight weeks and I still have yet to see a copy of my "contract." I told the woman I didn't have time and could not afford it and never once did Veronica tell me to contact corporate. She did however ignore everything I said and kept pushing me to do it despite countless emails and text messages and a refusal to send a copy of my marriage license. I guess this group of people thinks that their camp will also fix your money and time problems. They cancelled my account and refused to refund $120 read more

I wish I was rating this a 5, but a few things are forcing me to knock it down. My CG experience started with a Groupon. A friend and I attended the Victory Park location, and those camps are crazy - in a good way. Specifically the mornings with Mason as a trainer, he will kick your butt yet manages to make you feel positive during the whole thing. You will never be able to look at the stairs of a parking garage without cringing again. I really think that location is the best - it just had the most hyped up feeling of any location that I tried. I moved to Addison a few months in and started that location. The trainer there is great and nice and good at what she does, but its a smaller group and you just don't feel as pushed. There are only two 5:30am days, and if I want to get to work on time those are my only choice. There are PM times but I just don't feel good about doing that in +90 degree heat. Maybe I'm a wuss? I just prefer to get my workout done in the morning I guess. A good location, just not as intense. Watermark has early days and isn't a far drive, but the group is almost too large - can be about 75 people. Sometimes that feels great to be part of a group that big, sometimes it feels like a mess. Between the ho-hum Addison location, and the cold weather hitting, I found myself making excuses not to go anymore. So at the end of my 6 month deal I chose not to sign up again. And THIS is where my newly found hatred for CG comes in. Apparently you don't have to re-sign up, you have to write a letter or send a fax to cancel or they will continue to charge you. Yes, this is hidden somewhere in the fine print of the contract, but it is nowhere to be found on your personal CG page (on their website). The weekly email encourages you to "sign up for next camp! never too late!" with no * reminding you that you do not have to sign up if you are on the 6 month deal. I can't imagine many people are not, the price for just one month is outrageous. I expressed my anger at this to CG, no reply. The only other places that have this kind of practice (you can sign up and give credit card info online but have to snail mail or fax to cancel??? that is so outdated and shady) are crappy tanning salons and scamming credit report companies. It sincerely upset me when I went through this after my positive experience at Victory Park. My friend that I started the Groupon was not aware had to cancel after 6 either, so I don't think I was just an idiot that missed a clearly stated note that you don't have to re-sign up after the 6th month. Anyway, this can be a great workout program. I think my Victory park mornings are the best workouts I have ever had, and I give major props to Mason - he is great at what he does. I just will not be eager to suggest this to anyone after the cancelling experience. Now I go to 24 Hour for less than half the monthly cost, and through attending the various free classes my body is in just as good of shape AND I have access to an indoor treadmill on bad weather days. I really enjoy doing something different every day too - Yoga, Body Pump, Turbo Kick, etc. So if you want to try CG go for it, but don't let them tell you that you can't get a good workout at a gym because if you are motivated to go, you can. read more

I tried this boot camp a few times several years back, it wasn't for me. I don't want to work out with men and it wasn't much of a varied workout. Too much yelling by the instructors and group as well. More than all of that we have all heard of the unethical business practices of Camp Gladiator. They find other boot camps and set up nearby and try to leach their campers. They try to run off other boot camps. If they truly were about fitness and confidence for everyone, they would realize they may not be for everyone so be happy there are other camps for those who don't prefer CG. Over the summer they set up a camp on the opposite side of a shopping center from a camp i use at the same time of the morning. Although they had previously held camp in this shopping center it was much much later in the morning not the 5am hour. Adjacent to where my group parks is a tunnel that we have used without incident for over a year during inclement weather. This morning out of no where CG showed up and tried to run us out of our tunnel. Mind you they are on the complete other side of this shopping center normally. We have used this space at times almost daily, never had a problem, but that is because they only recently started a 5am class at this location. Not only did they come tracking from the far north east corner of this huge complex to the southwest corner to use the tunnel the instructor who was all of about 23 showed her immaturity and lack of professionalism. Her camp starts after ours and she blasted her music, screamed and had them chanting as if they were a cult so loud we had to just turn our music and timers off as well couldnt hear our instructor. Camp Gladiator needs to get some class! After this i will do everything i can to spread the word about the unprofessional, cock roach type behavior and pure lack of courtesy or class with their instructors. read more

I can't get the business department to allow me to pay my bill in full. Isn't that interesting? I'm not trying to close my account, but rather pay what I owe. They are telling me that I have to pay with a card each month and that I don't have an option to pay in full (with a card). What happens when I close out my bank account??? This is totally not a customer service plus. read more

Perhaps it's good for people who don't really enjoy working out. It's actually too much instruction, too much of the "speed dating" socialization, and too much interrupted work out time with wasteful instruction. If you like to be motivated by a group, not being individually observed by a pro trainer, and socialization during a work out, I suppose this is for you. read more

I did CG for a 6-month period. I definitely lost weight and got in better overall shape. The trainers were very nice and the workout was always varied. The issue I take with CG is the fundamental approach, which what I gather is a general Cross-Fit approach, quantity over quality. For instance, most trainers would ask you to do 5 Turkish Get-ups, 20 squats, 20 overhead presses, and then sprint up to some point. These are not extreme exercises but the focus of ~90% of the trainers was to get as many done as humanly possible in, let's say, 2 minutes. Recently I have been doing a kettlebell class, and I ACTUALLY LEARNED the correct way to do the Turkish Get-up. Adding onto this point, I have personally had two friends that can attribute a back surgery and a knee surgery to CG and the style of workout here. Maybe for some people they need a kick in the rear to get rear to get going, but they need to know what they are signing up for. read more

Horrible customer service from corporate, but great workouts and trainers. Tyler and Laila rock!

I wish I could take back signing up with Camp Gladiator. This is BY FAR the WORST experience I have had with a company. I have been contacting them for over a year trying to cancel. They don't answer, take several days to call back, ignore your request all together, or sending you a generic email that does not acknowledge your issue. They lied about not receiving a doctor's note faxed by my surgeon and continued to bill me! They also lied to me back in 2017 that I could not cancel my account but I could only freeze it. They will do anything to keep you in a contract despite having legitimate reason to cancel. DO NOT sign a contract with Camp Gladiator. Do NOT give them access your credit card number or bank. Even if you dispute charges they will repeatedly charge you. They have a predatory practice and I have suffered emotional distress through my pregnancy and recovery due to Camp Gladiators immoral practices. They will not stop billing, calling, texting and emailing. DAILY! read more

I started CG back in 2010 and really loved it. After an extended break I joined again and am about to finish my 2nd camp. There is really no better way to workout. I am horrible about holding myself accountable and working out on my own so being apart of a group has really helped. the workouts are always different and they always kick my butt! if you're looking for group fitness, CG is the way to go! read more

I started at Camp Gladiator and showed up to a location that had 2-5 people at it. It stayed that way for three months before they decided to close that location. I liked the work out and got a lot of help (guidance) from my trainer in doing the exercises correctly. I had two surgeries over the summer and I would agree with previous reviewers that the customer service department is lacking in accountability. I was out for two months and they screwed up my bill for the next three months. It took lots of emails and phone calls to straighten it out. I didn't really have time for that. What I have noticed is that they want really big camps and they want a team atmosphere. I want a workout and have never been on a team. I no longer get the advice about what is going wrong, why I don't seem to get better at this exercise or that or the motivation of the type I need. I have been to two camps where the instructors (both males) spent more time noticing the young female camper rather than helping this old lady or in one case, a brand new camper. There are plusses and minuses to everything and you just need to be aware of the situation you are signing up for. I think the camaraderie of the camp is a definite plus. We socialize at times together. But I go at 5 am and then to work. I want to get done. I don't want to play games or compete. I want a workout that will get me in shape and keep me that way. read more

I love Camp Gladiator!!! I've been going for about 6 months and it's one of my favorite things I do! I like that every workout is different and you never know what you are "in for." Ha! I am NOT a morning person, but I can hop out of bed in a total daze and run out the door for a 5:30am CG boot camp with my peeps and it gets my day off to a great start. I love that there are all kinds of different people there! I feel very motivated by them all...the people in better fitness than me...the people in worse fitness than me...new friends I make there...basically just starting my day as part of a group of folks all working hard and doing our best is awesome! My husband is more of an introvert and he thinks it's great, but he doesn't love it nearly as much as I do b/c he's fine working out by himself (that is pretty much my worst nightmare). I carpool with 3 other moms from our kids' elementary school and that is great additional accountability. I love the M/Th weights plan...those are my favorite days. I have actually been able to put on some strength upper-body which has been really hard for me to do all my life AND keeps my back pain at bay...I can actually do a few REAL push-ups now - lol. I love that it's outdoors - when it's cold, we warm up quickly! I feel like it's healthier to work-out outside in the fresh morning air than in a gym. The trainers are AWESOME - Jonathan, Heather and Laila are my total FAVES. read more

I have done Camp Gladiator for 2 years. I have lost 30lbs and increased my overall fitness level to a point higher than at any other point in my life. It's go at your own pace for all ages and fiteness levels, which makes CG a great place for beginners and experts. And the friends I have made over these 2 years is probably the biggest reason I show up every day. It's not working out. It is 60 minutes of high intensity with my friends in a competitve yet fun filled environment. The first 2 months were difficult as you have to build up endurance and strength. But your deditaction is well worth it as you uncover the new you. Just know that any fitness plan takes dedication and commitment. You will get out of CG what you are willing to put into it. So if you are looking for a great place to start, come and check it out with the dozens of locations and times around the metroplex. read more
