I loved every minute of it and it was so much fun to be able to go there are stay, rent a boat, fish, swim, sit by the fire, and grill with some good people. We may have been rowdy at times, but Bob and Charmayne were always the best, even though they have retired now. The fresh donuts, diner style eating, and the small town style cabins were always the best. If you are expecting a 5 star Hilton Style resort, you shouldn't be going to these real Minnesota style campsites, but if you enjoy the outdoors, a relaxing escape from every day life, and a friendly place to enjoy... I 100% recommend this place. I will be bringing my family here now that my kids are old enough to enjoy it as well.

Lots of activities, always something going on. My one gripe, there is a ton of traffic in the campgrounds. I understand that it is a busy place, but I kept seeing the same vehicles driving by. Tons of golf carts always around. Visitors can't have, so the seasonal people really like cruising around in them. It is non stop traffic. Oh well, if I had a golf cart I'd probably drive it all over non stop too.

These 5 children who have started to own the kamp sit have started to get more and more greedy with there prices and services. they have gotten to the point to where you are a seasonal they still find loopholes and ways to get more and more money out of you. your not even allowed to bring you OWN fire wood, and then the proceed to charge you 20 bucks for a bundle of 5 tiny logs of wood. Kamp Dels used to be a amazing places for Families to get away until they decided money was the only thing that matters. Kicking people OUT OF THERE SEASONAL SITE THAT HAVE BEEN THERE FOR YEARS, just to build a MANSION by the pool, not to mention that at first they refused to move there sites at THERE OWN EXPENSES. Then on top of that they choose to treat there seasonal and weekend people, no matter how long you've been with them with PURE disrespect and they will literally say to you " be careful, because i'm the owner". the power trip on these 5 new children how inherited the ONCE amazing kamp dels has completely twisted this place into a place where it is unaffordable for most families and when you are here it is completely not worth your buck with everything they choose to put in lines. i hope this review helps families before booking if your looking for a get away with your family at peace.

Reasonably priced, Very clean, very quiet and nicely landscaped. Met Kurt, son of the owner- what a super friendly guy. There is a nice walking path around the lake. We had made a reservations and due to the weather they called us once a couple days before we were…read moresupposed to to show up saying that the area they assigned was flooded so they moved us to another site. We show up today to check in the entire area to the road to get to the campsite was flooded no signs no nothing once we get through that, we go check in and they tell us we're not taking reservations due to the area being flooded no phone call or nothing. We drove an hour and a half. They refused to give us a refund and would only give us a credit to come back within the next year or so, we reserve three camping areas and had to put a deposit down of 100 hundred per site so that's $300 that we have in credit for a place that we may not ever come back to the staff was very rude. Very disorganized, we asked if we could change days or reschedule due to the weather and the possible flooding and we're told no we would just lose the money if we didn't show up..
