Most of these negative reviews seem to be about some weird shit. Idk why people go anywhere if all…read morethey are going there for is to complain. Stupid as Fu@$. Here's the truth, service department is awesome, easy to work with, more fair then most, reliable and most importantly, you can trust whatever they do is done correct. I've never been bothered or hassled by any sales people, always chum chum, what's up brother and nothing more. No pressure and no bullshit. Motoprimo is my go to always.

They blew off every attempt to schedule a test…read moredrive and make my purchase so that one of their employees could buy the bike out from under me with an employee discount. When I attempted to purchase a different bike, the sales person, Michael, informed me that he quit and would forward my information to a different sales person, which he never did. It was late enough in the season, that I didn't end up purchasing anything. I foolishly came back this year to try and purchase a similar bike, and found out that Michael returned to Motoprimo just in time to jerk me around again. They tried to sell the exact same bike as before for more than they quoted the previous year, and attempted to string me along promising a lower price and then trying to make me agree to a higher price. Motoprimo is in the business of lying, poor customer service, and wasting time. I've given them ample opportunity to make things right, and they obviously have no intention to. I'd rate them a zero star if that was an option. Save yourself a lot of time and don't even walk in.

I purchased the bike on March 5, 2024 with 15,253 miles. Over the next year I added approximately 10,000 miles and kept up with regular maintenance throughout ownership. At the time of purchase, I also bought what is presented as the Harley-Davidson Extended Service Plan (administered by Continental Service Provider), with the understanding that it would provide meaningful coverage in the event of a major mechanical failure. On July 29, I began a trip from Minneapolis to Sturgis. The ride was uneventful through Worthington and Sioux Falls, and I continued west on I-90 at normal highway speeds (80 mph). After roughly 140 additional miles, near Chamberlain, SD, the engine suddenly lost power. A rider behind me observed smoke and flames exiting the exhaust. I immediately shut the engine down and coasted to a stop, at which point the engine had seized and would not restart. Due to the timing during Sturgis Rally, Rapid City Harley-Davidson was unable to take the repair. I incurred over $700 in towing costs, along with approximately $600 in additional travel expenses (rental car, hotel, and return flight). The motorcycle was ultimately returned to Wild Prairie Harley-Davidson in Eden Prairie, MN, where I was informed the failure was due to a blown wrist pin and catastrophic piston damage. I was also told there was no maintenance-related action that would have prevented this failure, and that this type of failure is considered extremely rare. The repair estimate was approximately $11,000, which exceeds the value of the motorcycle. The Harley-Davidson Extended Service Plan only covered up to the market value of the bike (approximately $6,000), leaving a substantial remaining balance. At the time, I still owed approximately $5,000 on the loan. I was offered approximately $3,000 for the motorcycle toward the purchase of a new bike, which would have required rolling negative equity into another loan. While I was told this was essentially a "once in a lifetime" type of failure, my experience was that there was little effort made to stand behind the product or build customer loyalty after the fact. Given that this failure occurred after roughly one year of ownership and consistent maintenance.
