After 12 hour drive want a nice hot shower and bed. Turn on shower and dead fly comes floating by. Then toilet was never cleaned! Inside was gross! Dirt and hair in corner of floor by shower. Dirty used Kleenex, hair and dirt under counter in sink. So gross! Beds were made and there were clean towels. I didn't even sleep on sheets because I didn't know if they were actually clean. See pics. Will never stay there again! Also, never came to clean room or bring more clean towels.

I arrived on a Tuesday at 2pm and they had a room ready for me in the 1st floor. I was greeted at the front desk and told about the free breakfast. My room was clean. The bathroom was good as well as the bedroom and the bed was very comfortable. The pillows also were fluffy and the room smelled clean. The room has a big selection of tv channels and the WiFi was easy to connect to. Being on the 1st floor I thought it might be noisy but it was extremely quiet. The breakfast had a good variety of options and I would say it is just as good if not better than some Hampton inn breakfasts. I would recommend staying here, would go back.

My Mom and I stayed one night. I set up an online reservation ten days ahead of time. I was…read moreslightly upset as the online booking system did put a "hold" on my debit card for the price of the room and did say that it would charge my debit card once checked in. But when we arrived to the hotel we had to turn over the debit card to the front desk manager to complete the reservation. I did put in an accommodation request in the online system as I have hip replacements and cannot walk up/down stairs. The staff only read the request upon check in. I did place this reservation in advance (10 days) to provide an easy check in process with providing advanced notice so that my needs/wants could have been considered. There is one single room designed as an "ADA Accessible" room at this property that is a single queen bed, non-smoking as of September 25, 2025. This location has a single front of house staff member on duty during our stay. The staff was friendly and seemed to have good customer service skills but a second staff member during breakfast would be in order. This location was very quiet considering it is one block off the freeway exit and one block from a truck stop on the other side of the hotel. We were in a two queen bed, non-smoking room. one of the bedspreads had two cigarette burns in it. (I wonder how these burns got there in a non-smoking room?!?!) Beds were about three feet off the ground, so if you are short, 5 feet 5 inches, like me it was a bit difficult getting in and out of bed. Beds are firm, not plush, with no way to adjust softness. Provided sheets were thin but comfortable. There is no onsite dining services, including room service. There is a Hardee's and Fairbault Family Restaurant within 0.3 miles of the location if you're interested.

Breakfast was DIY waffles or those tiny donuts. Out of coffee. I felt sorry for the poor woman behind the desk. She had to check people in and out, answer phones, tend to peoples requests, and keep breakfast stocked. Obviously short staffed. There HAS to be a better hotel in this city!

The pool looked nice though I didn't have time for a dip. The AC was powerful and the room was decorated with black out blinds that were printed with a canoe - functional and very Minnesota! Breakfast was a bit cramped in the front lobby in the morning and the elevator was a bit outdated but beyond that I had a great stay! If you are stopping here I also recommend getting off a few exits west and driving through town. They have a beautiful lake and some good restaurant options outside of the typical chains over by the hotels.

Becky you were equally amazing with how sweet you were with my pup. Very patient and understanding, taking the time to get to know your visitor. Brie and Amy y'all were the sweetest as well. There were some amazing things about this place and some questionable things. Stay with me as I break this down. The women that run this place undoubtedly make it 5 stars, had they not been the sweetest angels on the planet, it would be slightly lower. After sleeping in my car during freezing nights I ended up with this lovely place. It was welcoming and beautiful when you walk in to the breathtaking lobby with a fireplace and stockings lining the top. It felt like the Holiday spirit was all around me. -The first night in a King sized room on the first floor wasn't too bad. It was very clean with the exception of the toilet. I nearly puked and was thankful the reflection of the lights hit it perfectly before I planted myself down on it. Somehow there was urine down the top of the seat and either a dirty rag or misc-not-too-sure-what smeared the urine all over the seat. It turned my stomach and I hoped it was the style seat. Nope! I used toilet paper over it for the duration of my stay. The room could use some upgrading but I didn't mind. It had a microwave and a mini fridge. The tv was smaller in size and bolted down to the dresser so you cannot turn it if you are sitting at the desk or chair in the corner. The bed was so comfortable! The sheets smelt great. I loved the pillows. I could maneuver them any way and it felt cozy and heaven like. There is an open closet when you first enter with plenty of hangers to put your coats and items up. You can tuck your luggage inside so you aren't tripping over it. I enjoyed this feature. -The breakfast wasn't spectacular but it was something. These days places don't offer food so it was nice to have something. The waffle was one of the FLUFFIEST tastiest foods I've ever had. I craved it right after I consumed it. The eggs were ehh. They had bread in baggies, which was nice to take on the go. Little muffins. Bagels. Yogurt. Hard boiled eggs. Peanut butter, jelly, butter, cream cheese. 3 types of cereals. Oatmeal packets (hot water is near the coffee bar) A milk dispenser. 2 juice options apple juice which ran to water right away and either cranberry or orange. -There is a coffee and tea counter in the lobby area that partly connects to the breakfast area. It has 6ish assortments of tea, several types of coffee, hot water, iced water, honey, many ways to make the perfect drink. Also available if you check in late! When I checked out the first day I had a horrid migraine that kicked in, initially I asked to sit in a place with my dog away from people to research on my phone. They happily obliged. My vision started to double. I saw someone with a pizza and went for it. Pepperoni pizza was thin but tasty around 10.50 with tax. (This place DOES sell pizzas, burgers, and sandwiches) Everyone took their break where I was and we're all super sweet and kind to me and my pup making me feel like family. I was there for hours suffering as the migraine got worse. As housekeepers we're getting off, they asked if I needed a ride. When Lillie came *back* onto her night shift she came to check on me to see if I was ok. -Being in no condition to drive I opted to stay another night there. I ended up in the King Suite for royalty. I cried over this. There was a fireplace, sofa, jacuzzi, large tv that swirled around. Lillie agreed that the jacuzzi would help with my migraine since I lacked proper attire for the hot tub. My excitement was turned into heartbreak when I filled the tub multiple times and green/off colored water was pooling up. I turned the lights up thinking it was my eyes. I researched what the cause could be and if it was ok to sit in. I decided against using it. It could be the pipes, copper, something was very off. In the morning when I looked in the tub you could see the discoloration all over the tub. I was thankful I didn't go for it. Though the fireplace felt like heaven every time I walked into the room. As sad as I was about the jacuzzi and how much Lillie tried making my stay magical, I cannot take away stars because of the staff that worked here. ***Side note: the rooms are NOT sound proof. The first night I heard people coughing and existing next to me. The second night I was woken up at 4:30am by the next door neighbors um. Well. Rearranging the furniture? They must have had a tough time because they repeatedly banged a piece against the wall while shouting obscenities. I hope they're ok. I was in the room next to the stairs and could hear every person coming up the stairs from outside and their conversations from the bed. Yikes!***

When I was checking in I was asked if I wanted a room on the lower floor or upper- I chose upper so I could avoid the noise of footsteps above me... little did I know there was no elevator so I had to carry all of my luggage up a flight of stairs. After entering the room I used the bathroom- which did not have a working exhaust fan. A bit later my daughter spilled some water on the floor- the white washcloth turned black from wiping it up. Not to mention there were very few bathroom linens to choose from. To end the night we were going to use the pool- there were a couple of girls in the pool when we entered who warned us that they just found a broken glass in the pool and we're trying to find help to clean it. My daughter was already disappointed in this experience but they still had a hot tub- the color of the water in the hot tub was completely yellowish/brownish so I had to tell her we were absolutely not going in there either. Had we not been completely exhausted already we would have left immediately, I had booked our stay for 2 nights but didn't even stay the second night because it was so bad. We woke up, definitely didn't even consider checking out the breakfast, and got the heck out of there. Since I booked on Expedia I didn't even bother trying to cancel the second night or get a refund- BAD
