The front desk staff were amazing! Very friendly and we got cold water bottles to start, which was an unexpected but great surprise! We were on the 17th floor! Loved the views! My boyfriend and I drank wine and enjoyed the night views before dinner. The room was very comfortable! The bed was soft yet firm and the pillows were feather. It just had a luxurious feel to it! The tv in the room was huge! There is a minibar but of course it's expensive! There was a shower with a rainfall shower head, as well as a large soaking tub! Felt so good! All of the complimentary products smelled amazing! There are food/ bar options on the property. I have heard good things about them! We opted to go to Stock and Bond which is about a mile away and was VERY GOOD! While we were at dinner, someone brought up a chilled bottle of prosecco and small dessert. There was also a card of my boyfriend's birthday! A very welcome touch! This place does have breakfast you can order to your room! Or lunch, dinner, snacks, depending on the time of day. The menu looks great! This is a beautiful and clean property! Everyone was very friendly and I would happily stay here again!

They have something for every biker, no matter what skill level you are. This event is definitely family friendly. In the beginning years, I would ride the longer 50+ mile routes. Now, they have shortened the options down to 16, 25 or 32 miles that day. With multiple routes to choose from you can't go wrong! It's a beautiful experience to view the city and see how all the paths connect. Minneapolis/St. Paul have hundreds of miles of paved paths, so this ride can show you how to navigate them, rather than be intimidated. There is great signage to know which ways to turn to stay on course. The helpful rest stops supply delicious food and often music/entertainment along the way. The best part is the finish line! Here, you can get your free beer, visit the vender village and listen to a live band as you sit with fellow cyclists feeling proud of yourself!

We learned great deal about the city's history as well as its current day culture, art and architecture. We had a most enjoyable ride and our guide Alyssa was a wealth of information. It was a Saturday and no one was in the office and the owners are not listed on the website, plus NO phone number on the website. Finally I saw a worker loading a van and told him and he responded immediately texting the owner. They were full that night and couldn't put me in another room and offered to find a local hotel (which later they reneged on); the worker said they did call for inspection and said repeatedly they would reimburse my stay for the inconvenience. It was annoying not to have any communication with the owner and only when I got home on Sunday did they email to say there was nothing (who knows if that is true) and no mention of a refund. Very disappointed.

The staff were extremely nice and accommodating. I had help bringing my bags upstairs to our room, they walked us through everything and offered help any time we needed it. It rained while we were in the hot tub but it was covered very well and only elevated the experience! The koi pond is so beautiful and relaxing, and we loved enjoying the entire property. Highly recommend staying here! Also, don't forget to book a trolly tour! Such a unique experience, and the tour guide has such a fun personality it was incredible!! 10/10 Would stay again and again!

On Tuesday morning, I needed a jump after I fueled up at SA in Mendota Heights. Craig, from Dick's Valley Service, came to get me going. He tested the battery and was polite and informative. I don't know if any of my questions were stupid, yet he answered them all professionally and with patience. He gave me a quote for a new battery after it was determined that there were no mechanical issues causing the problem (whew - no new alternator!!). The car didn't start on Wednesday morning, and I decided to just bus it. Wasn't in the mood to deal with it before the crack of dawn. I used the AAA app this morning to get a jump so that I could get my vehicle over to my nearby dealership. The shop called to say that Craig was on his way and that he would be there momentarily. He arrived about 10 minutes after I pushed send. I now know that I'd better be out of the shower and ready to go before I report a need for help! I asked if Craig had a battery and he did. The cost was just under $147, which saved me over $40 by not having to go to the dealership. He used some sort of device that kept the presets in my vehicle while he was changing out the battery. Service was quick and Craig is a great guy. He's funny, along with being polite and informative. We had a nice, casual conversation during the process. If you're in need of service, you'll have a smile if Dick's Valley Service shows up because they do it right. They also don't try to sell you something you don't need. I figured that I needed a new battery, yet my schedule wasn't making it easy to get it done before I needed another jump. There's a six-year warranty on the new battery, which suits me just fine. While I hope that I never need to call them again anytime soon, I know that I'll be in good hands.
