Rude and incompetent. I've been bringing my dog here almost weekly or 2x a week since January. This morning I try and drop my dog off for his scheduled appointment on the way to a busy day at work. The rude checkout girl tells me that his bordatella has been expired since March. I tell her that surprises me as I've been bringing him weekly the past few months since March and no one has said anything to me. She brushed me off and says "sorry can't take him" and moves to the next person. This would have been great to know when I made my appointment or any of the other 15 times my dog has been since March. I then had to make other arrangements, causing me to be late for work. Honestly the worst experience with the rudest kids running the place. read more

I love how accommodating everyone is at Camp Bow Wow in Boulder! They are truly caring and treat my dogs as their own. This is definitely a trustworthy place to take your best friend(s). read more

CBB has been great to our 3 year old lab-pit pup. Kind and friendly staff, well maintained facility. Just the thing when we can't get out to exercise Charlie. He is always excited to go and always tired when we pick him up. read more

I'm the mama to a very energetic, very cute puppy. I also have a lot of guilt about leaving him at home all day when I'm working in Denver. This is a perfect recipe for the need for daycare. Bubba always comes home exhausted, and Camp Bow Wow has half and full day pricing and packages, which are really nice to have. If they were to offer later pick up times this would be the puppy's go to place for fun and exercise. read more

I dropped my dog off on my way out of town for a trip. I barely made it to the security line at the airport before I got the call that my dog was cut on the face and would require stitches. My dog has zero aggressive tendencies and would never start a fight. Even with cameras on the pen they couldn't determine the cause of the incident, which meant I was stuck with the $600 vet bill, the non-refundable airfare and picking up my fury friend in this condition: https://goo.gl/photos/ofp68DyBrXSD557g7. They offered me a few days free boarding, as if I would ever consider bringing my dog there again. I can't say this was a good experience. read more

Overall, this is a well run facility. The staff are courteous and knowledgeable. I like the cam but wish it had better streaming and zoom capacity. I have used this camp for my dog a number of times with great results. The reason for not giving this facility 5 stars stems from the last visit where he was boarded for 2 nights and during this stay received lacerations to his stomach and inside thigh that required medical treatment. The injuries, discovered by my young son, would have drawn blood and been pretty obvious to attendants. The rating is based mainly on the fact that there was no record or mention of the injury. Dogs will be dogs and sometimes can play pretty rough. That's understood and accepted. However, not informing an owner of an injury to his/her pet that could lead to an infection and great discomfort if left unattended is unacceptable. Outside of this incident, I have been more than happy with this facility's performance and wouldn't hesitate to use it again in the future. read more

I just took my super energetic Border-collie Aussie cross to Camp Bow Wow for her free first day. I've seriously never seen her so worn out, except maybe when she was on drugs after she got spayed. I really liked the whole camp schtick--I know it is just a marketing thing, but it is good to know that my dog is being taken care of by other nerdy dog people. The staff seemed very friendly, and I appreciate that they seem to keep a close eye on the dogs during the day, since my dog tends to get ganged up on in big groups. The price seems very affordable, and I'm definitely planning on taking my dog back. read more

Camp Bow Wow has never let me down. This place was recommended to me by my dog walker. My almost a year now White German Shepard loves going there. The best part is the staff there are super friendly and they wear him out , by the time I bring him back home he is all worn out and goes to bed. :) He also spent a couple of nights there and I could tell that he had a great time. read more

Staff is super friendly and helpful. My dog, Jack, loves to go and is happy to run in every time we are there. Great company that does a great job caring for my furry family member. read more

I took my dog for the first (and last) time to Camp Bow Wow in Boulder, a few days ago. It was one of the most depressing days of MY life, so I can only imagine how he felt. He spent the day in the teacup "room." All the dogs are back in the same area, only separated by gates and walls, so none of them are actually in rooms, more like runs. The teacup area had ZERO toys - ZERO!! And I watched my dog (on the doggie cam) try to interact with the other depressed dogs, but to no avail, because all they did was either lay on the cement or walk inside, the outside, then inside, then outside. Eventually, my dog did the same thing, except for the numerous times he sat in a corner by himself. And yes, I did spend the vast majority of the day watching him, and waiting until I could catch the first bus from downtown Denver back to Boulder to rescue him. I seriously wonder if the people who are posting positive reviews have actually taken the time to watch their dog on the doggie cam, cause if they had, I'm quite certain they would also leave a negative review. When I was finally able to pick my dog up, I was waiting in the lobby and another dog made a break for it, and jumped the gate......only to be ushered back in by an unfriendly employee....poor guy. My dog also ran out of the back room and had never been more excited to see me, and get the heck out of that place! Please don't take your dogs here. I tried BowHaus in Boulder the very next day, and also spent a bit of time watching my dog on the doggie cam - he loved it there! Toys, jungle gym equipment, and they rotate the dogs for indoor and outdoor play. He spent the entire day running and playing - it was awesome! So go with BowHaus because Camp Bow Wow Boulder is absolutely horrendous. Update: Response to Brooke: Give the little dogs some toys! You have a massive ball in the teacup yard that is much too big for such little dogs, and one piece of "play" equipment? (Which is not visible on the doggie cams by the way). I did see a few employees come in and spend a few minutes with the dogs, giving them treats - BUT my issue is with the set-up of Camp Bow Wow.....not enough play room and zero stimulation for those dogs. There is a frequent "camper" in the teacup room - he's a black and white Papillon. Have you every spent any time watching that poor guy? All he does is lay down.....it's heartbreaking. I realize the employees at Camp Bow Wow have their marching orders and I'm not questioning your love for dogs, but my God, give those animals some stimulation! Give them toys, playground equipment, more room....anything! And as for your comment about not finding my name in your system....well of course you didn't, "Nimichka" is my user name. And how unfortunate that you show no interviews in your system over the past 2 weeks when my husband just brought our dog in last week for an interview, and our dog spent 4 hours there. I clearly did not watch the cameras while he was there because if I had, there is no way I would have brought him back. Again, I request of Camp Bow Wow: give those poor dogs some toys to play with or some stimulation because what I witnessed was heartbreaking. read more

I absolutely LOVE Camp Bow Wow Boulder. The facilities are super clean, the employees are really professional and my dog is always exhausted when he comes home. We have gone to other day cares in past years that have been ok, but we are getting to over two years with this location and couldn't be happier with our Brody's second family. We say "do you want to go to camp?" and he flips out. He really loves his human friends at camp, they truly care about our furry child. read more

I am new to Boulder and I was looking for a place to board my dog. This place has a very friendly staff. Though friendly, the place seemed understaffed and very chaotic. They need to get their act together and give us customers the attention we deserve! My dog failed the "interview", so I may be a little biased. But I know my good boy would have been accepted if that place wasn't in a state of disaster... read more

I have an energetic 10 month old cattle dog that I can't always take to work with me, so I took him to Camp Bow Wow Boulder for the day. The staff were super friendly, helpful, and engaged with the dogs. My dog spent over 10 hours there on his first day, and he came home exhausted and happy. Being able to check-in on him from the webcams is a huge perk for me, and it was clear that he and the other dogs were having a bunch fun. I'll definitely be taking him back soon! read more

I love camp bow wow! My pup is a playful happy puppy who just wants to play, he doesn't really want to run with us, he likes off-leash activities, but we can't get him what he needs everyday. A few times a week he goes to camp bow wow and comes back happy and exhausted. The staff is absolutely wonderful, I trust them with my little guy. I know it is great because: Everytime we go he pulls me through the door and jumps at the door to the yards, when i pick him up he bolts to me and jumps joyfully around my feet, tail wagging a mile a minute, then passes out before we hit 30th. read more

Puppy loves this place- he is always so excited when we arrive. He is 2 years old and so full of energy. Some days a run in the evenings is just not enough and he really likes the social aspect of Camp Bow wow. We put him in half days and find that is enough. A full day would be a waste for hmi. Hegoes in around 9 am and i pick him up at say 2:30. Perfect. He comes home happy, I go back to work until 7 or so. They have a lot of dogs in one area but for my pup this really works. Staff are very nice. Cameras are pretty much useless for actually seeing your dog at play. read more

My dog loves going to "day camp" at Camp Bow Wow in Boulder. I love that I can watch him from work on their camper cams. The staff there is incredibly helpful and friendly. I feel safe and happy to leave my dog with them. read more

Our dogs love being there and the staff is always super friendly. I think the best part is the staff and the way they treat the dogs and the people. Keep your staff happy and they will keep your customers happy. read more

This place is over hyped. I was expecting so much more. It was crowded, understaffed and lack any stimuli for the dogs. We watched our dog on the doggie cam and it was pretty pathetic. There was only one person in a small area with about 15 or 20 dogs. Our dog was wandering around, looking bored. The attendant never bothered to give much attention or affection to any of the dogs. read more

My pup loves this place! But who wouldn't want to romp all day with friends? I have only used their daycare service but I've been very happy with it. My favorite thing is the "camper cams" that allow me to check in and see how my furry buddy is doing. They even have an iPhone app with the cams! (read: decreased productivity). From watching the cams I know that there is always someone in the play areas with the dogs supervising so I know my guy is safe all day. They also do interviews so all the dogs in daycare have been screened. I'd definitely board my dog here if ever necessary because I know he will be extremely well taken care of. My dog comes home exhausted from a day at Camp Bow Wow and is usually tired the whole next day. Can't recommend this place enough. read more

I had a great experience here. Customer service was great. My dog seemed very happy after daycare. I appreciated that the Camp Bow Wow staff took the time to explain everything, which put me at ease immediately. I love that you can check in on your dog remotely via their app and doggie cams. read more

Camp Bow Wow Boulder is great. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. I was worried about finding a day care in Boulder that is open to all breeds and was happy to see that my pittie mixes were judged at their "interview" by their personalities and not by their looks. It's not as personal an experience as a smaller kennel might be, but if you ask how your dogs' day went they will track down someone who spent time with them to tell you. My dogs have boarded here for up to 10 days and have always come back looking happy and healthy. I do wish they had bigger discounts for two dogs who share a cabin while boarding, especially since I bring my own food. read more

My job requires that I fly often, normally my boyfriend can watch our dog while I'm away, but last month it didn't work out that way. Lila (our dog) has never been watched by someone other then us and had never been to a doggie day car or boarding, so I was a little nervous about how it would affect her. Camp Bow Wow requires an interview of at least 3 hours before boarding which I think is a great idea, after picking Lila up from her interview I felt a sense of relief because she was so happy and not at all stressed or nervous. Every time Ive gone into Camp Bow Wow there is a good deal of people on staff to watch the dogs, it makes me feel good to know how much attention is given to the dogs, and everyone seems to genuinely love dogs. I get a really good feeling about Camp Bow Wow and my dog loves it there, after her last boarding she wasn't sure if she wanted to leave. read more

This is the 1st time we left Tycho at the Boulder CBW. The staff was friendly and Tycho was exhausted, which shows he had a great time!

I've brought my 100 lb Rhodesian Ridgeback to Camp Bow Wow in Boulder for about year now. It's one of the few reliable day cares for dogs that actually gives you back a happy, tired, puppy (even a 100lb one) at the end of the day. They knew us by name by our second visit. I get excited knowing how happy my dog gets each morning we head over to Camp Bow Wow! Would love to leave her there longer because I know she'd love it, but I'd miss her too much :-) read more

Cannot express how incredibly disappointed in their staff I am. I brought my dog in yesterday morning, I have had a number of visits, and last night picked him up with horrible deep scratches and open punctures. They are very tender, I imagine painful considering how much he didn't want me cleaning them. The fact that I had to bring it to their attention, despite it being obvious on my very white dog, is thoroughly concerning. Even so, their lack of attention to what had to have been multiple aggressive acts against my dog is shocking. Their response was underwhelming borderline disrespectful. When I brought it to their attention at checkout, they tried to play his condition down as "showing up worse on his fair white coat" and chalk it up to classic roughhousing. When I asked about their staffing today they told me they have one person to watch over every 15 dogs and they had two staff for 30 dogs in the yard today. For large dogs that number shouldn't be linear, but if that is their policy then so be it. Now I'm not a fool, dogs play hard and occasionally stuff happens, especially with big dogs (mine is 70lbs). He has come home before with small tufts of coat missing and a scratch now and again, but nothing this severe and never bleeding. This demonstrates an unexpected lack of attention that indicates safety and well-being of the animals under their care is not the number one priority. I'll be contacting their leadership to bring this to their attention directly but I care to know if anyone has had similar experiences at this location, and to make others aware. read more

Love it here! And so does my dog. Everyone who works here is a dog person, and it shows. They have great deals and I love that I can log on and see what my pup is doing by looking at the doggie cams when he's there. Also open later than any of the other doggie day cares in Boulder (7pm), which is helpful. read more

Do NOT ever bring your dog here, especially if he is a senior dog. When I brought my 12 year old Shih-tzu there last month (September 2016) I picked him up extremely sick and dehydrated. When I dropped him off at the beginning of the week, I wrote out feeding instructions and measured how much kibble was in the zip lock bag before I gave it to Camp Bow Wow. When I picked my dog up after 5 days of being there, none of his kibble had been used and he has just been given wet food the entire time. For the next 7 days, he had diarrhea all day every day, all over the bed at night, on our carpet, and every time we went on a walk. His bedding reeked of urine. He also had a horrible ear infection the week following his stay. I was infuriated because he is so old this could have killed him. I now hire pet sitters to come to the house because of how awful our experience was. read more

My husband and I had our wedding in Boulder Colorado this past June, it was a destination wedding as we are from California. We wanted to take along our furry baby, Kobe with us on vacation. I could not be more happy with Camp Bow Wow. I knew we were going to be very busy with wedding planning and wanted to leave Kobe somewhere where he could be out of his crate but somewhere safe that I could trust. He is my child after all. Kobe went for his initial meet and greet, and after meeting the staff my nerves were settled and I felt reassured Kobe was in good hands. He can be a little skittish in new places and with new people. They were so kind and gentle and patient with Kobe. He even got a photo and a certificate on his first day- which melted my heart! We wanted Kobe to stay overnight on the night of our wedding, and I was unware that an appointment had to be made prior for overnighters. Camp Bow Wow was super accommodating and took Kobe without an appointment! We were so grateful. Best part was, is the facility has cameras set up so I could check on him at anytime I wanted- which I totally did. We are so thankful to the staff at Camp Bow Wow. We vacation in Boulder every summer and now we are happy to know that we can bring Kobe with us on our vacations because of this wonderful place. Thank you Camp Bow Wow, Kobe cant wait to come back! read more

My dog loves Camp Bow Wow in Boulder! She gets so excited when I drop her off and when I pick her up she comes out exhausted!! The staff is so friendly and they knew me and my dog after the first day.. very impressive, especially since they have so many dogs that attend per day. Camp Bow Wow Boulder is awesome! We've been to a few Camp Bow Wows in the area and the Boulder location is most certainly the best. The staff is friendly, they remember our pup, and she (our pup) falls asleep immediately every time when she gets in the car - a definite sign of a good day! I especially love their online cameras, so I can watch my pup play throughout the day. I'm always happy to log on and watch that the staff is actually interacting with the dogs and everyone seems to be having a great time. We would definitely recommend Camp Bow Wow Boulder to anyone! read more

Pups had a great time. May have to bring them again next time it rains just to wear them out.

The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Within our first two visits, they knew my dog on sight. They helped him get over the anxiety (he thought he was at the vet) and even helped him come out of his shell and learn to play with other dogs. The prices are competitive with the area and the experience alone makes the drive from Longmont worthwhile. I would highly recommend this daycare to anyone looking for a place your dog can cut loose and have fun when you can't be with him! read more

Camp Bow Wow Boulder is a fun escape for my dog, when she otherwise would have to be at work with me (boring) or left alone at home (double boring)! The staff is incredibly nice and caring, and my dog is ready for a good, long nap when I pick her up. That's a win-win in my book! read more

My dog and I love Camp Bow Wow, Boulder. The staff is so friendly and accommodating! The hours are flexible and I can drop my dog off anytime during the week. I'd recommend making a reservation for the weekends, because those tend to fill up quickly. My dog loves it there and gets so excited when I pull up! They do not restrict half days to only the morning or night like other daycares do. They are so affordable, especially compared to daycares in Massachusetts! They give your dog a picture, signed by the entire staff, a treat for the dog, and a bandana when they move up from the puppy pen to the full-grown pen. They also did this when they learned we were moving with a goodbye picture. It feels very personal and the staff is always happy to see my pup. I'm sad to have moved away from this daycare as literally no other daycare in central MA compares. read more
