Not sure from which location my order was processed, however, for the second time I have been shipped frozen rock hard hard shell crabs! And this time, I ordered for the first time a pound of lump crabmeat! Both the hard shelled crabs and the lump crabmeat were delivered frozen rock hard. What we ended up with was water logged lump crabmeat. Disgusting mess for the cost of $200 plus. I know that Cameron's has the ability to ship unfrozen hardshell crabs and they are quite lovely. However, this is the second time I have been shipped rock hard frozen crabs and lump crabmeat. It was disgusting. I would be more than willing to pay extra for expedited shipping for fresh ready to eat crabs. But alas, there is no shipping option for those of us who find frozen crabs disgusting and water logged. I have recently come to know of Cameron's Seafood, and I'm very pleased, with pretty much everything about them. They truly do get send the freshest seafood that can be found in the Chesapeake Bay. I know my crustaceans, and they do not sit around for long before being packaged and shipped out to the customer. At first I was hesitant about the pricing, but Cameron's is probably charging a little above cost due to impeccable and careful packaging. Cameron's is DEFINITELY an A+ in my book. read more

So the crabs here are good. I don't have any MAJOR complaints. I had a better experience at the location in Owings Mills in which I will write a review for next. So Unfortunately this one is close to my house so I stopped here and there was a lot going on OUTSIDE of the store. Please know that going here... This is kinda considered the hood so please be aware of your surroundings. So some challenging things... First of all I love crabs! so that is the ONLY thing that I will be coming for. When I called to order my crabs ahead of time they " Pretend" to take you're order but when you get there you still have to wait an whole HOUR! Please don't ever come here starving because you will pass out while you wait. One Word Horrible!!! I Ordered thought Grubhub hoping my order would be good and on time. Needless to say The Driver was Rude AF, he looked filthy and unkept, reeking of cigarette smoke. He could barely understand me, we had a huge language barrier. I Guess that why he started yelling at me on the phone??? He was unable to tell my building security guard my name or something, things went down hill from there. I had to speak to the guard myself to ask if he could instruct the drive in how to get to my unit, which also when to the left, Because he just did not want to bring me my food. I tried telling him I was in a wheelchair and can't roll myself and carry food plus I was in my pajamas. Not only that my unit number its on my Grubhub account instructions. He came to my door and is irate, Screaming at me about no apt number was listed, the started demanding I look at his phone to see. All I could see was his nose hanging out of his face mask, and due to covid-19 I just tried backing away. I was given my bag only after i looked on his phone hime over talking me the whole while.... with no receipt. (Note) I didn't sigh anything because nothing was given to me to sign. Stopped here on a wimb. I was in the area, hungry and had a taste for a crab cake. So when i saw this seafood market, I thought "Ah yes! My dreams are being answered!" I knew the neighborhood I was in wasn't the best but that has never stopped me from grabbing a bite to eat. Some of the best food has come from the worst "hoods". LOL! I ordered the jumbo crab cake sandwich special for $13.00 and a 1/2 and 1/2 to drink. My sandwich came with fries. It was a really good size but to my surprise was a blended mix of backfin crabmeat with lots of shells. The taste wasn't bad. My 1/2 and 1/2 tasted like they used old ice in it. A weird taste? They never seem to disappoint me. I will say I am not a big fan of the food. I couldn't understand why the crab cakes were are fillers with very little lump crab meat, being as though this is a "Crab Spot" that also sells lump crab meat *scratches head *....But the crabs are amazing, steamed fresh and very meaty. I went here on a Friday at lunchtime to get some raw fish and a snack. The fish selection was limited - lake trout and croakers were whole, and they also had salmon, catfish, perch, and tilapia (maybe something else too). For shellfish there were clams and mussels - no oysters. Crabs were advertised but I didn't ask if they had any. The menu of platters and sandwiches is extensive, and most of it is fried. I ended up getting some salmon at $10 a pound - a bit expensive. I also got a perch sandwich, which had two nice-sized perch filets on a white bun, a couple slices of tomato, and a heap of lettuce. There was a small container of coleslaw on the side, along with some battered fries. My problem with the sandwich was that one of the perch filets had gone bad. Gross. If you have fresh fish in the store, this should not happen! Unlikely to go back, not even to try the extensive array of desserts they had. read more

My experience was excellent. The people are nice and very friendly. The woman at the counter offered me and my family apricots, bananas, dates, and water. The food was delicious. My wife ordered some Maryland crabs for my birthday, they were set for delivery on a Friday. About 4:30pm I checked the tracking number and said it was delivered. Never got a delivery. Emailed Cameron's about this and they said the FedEx driver accidentally entered delivered, but they would be delivered the next day. Waited all day and still no delivery. They emailed me to say it wasn't coming and would I like to have another order sent the next week. They never offered any discount for their incompetence or coupons. I promptly canceled the order and notified my credit card company. We did order from another Crab House with delivery due Tuesday. Will let you know how that turns out. read more

I get there and pay for my order and I can see the cashier in the back talkin to whoever was cookin and she kept looking up at me to the point I could tell something was wrong. Ordered 1 dozen large steamed crabs. Mentioned that I wanted the crabs unseasoned. I said "unseason" and "no seasoning" several times to emphasize my point. Low and behold I get a dozen wimpy crabs that are heavily seasoned with old bay. I made a stock to put the crabs in and cook a little more. Would not recommend. The service was not welcoming at all & Most of the stuff on the menu they dont even have, this included the online menu as well as the one in the restaurant. Went back with the dead ones and asked them to give me 19 new live crabs. He brings a new box out and there were still dead crabs! They didn't understand that live crabs meant living.
